I tape the entrances and lids closed when transporting. Robbing is hard to manage with them. I put a board, cardboard or something on the top of them due to our extreme heat here in South Carolina. Thanks Brad. 5:09
My biggest complaints are the door staying closed as you mentioned and the frame rests always coming out. I add a piece of tape to the doors when I transport them because those doors always seem to come open in transport. Great product review video! Take Care!
I use deeps for supers and take the honey out put pro nucs to deal with the weight. I also put the frame with the queen in them since they are so light.
Could you do a quick picture of how you arrange your frames in this I been doing internal feeder 1 or 2 empty frames and brood and extra shake of bees is this enough bees? Thank you!
I found the same where it jammed when open and not easy to slide on some. They are bee tight when closed but not racoon tight in my case unfortunately. Too much burr comb made if bees left inside too long. But I'm still a fan of sorts.
Excellent instructional for newbies!
They are very useful and better that wax cardboard boxes. Agree with the issues you raise, i just use tap to keep them closed for transport.

Interesting. I've never seen a detailed video on these things. I appreciate it.
I picked one up as you mentioned with my fingers under the finger grip and the bees stung me through the ventilation gaps. Is it just me?
It's not just you. The bees hang out under there due to the ventilation slots. Thanks for watching!
