Would love to see more of the Mach 1 build, always wanted one of these cars
Sweet!! Very interested in hearing that thing cam!
Man a 5 litre stroker 4v with mhs top end is going to be NASTY 🤤
I can't wait to see/hear it tuned!
Beautiful Mach1! I love mine and have pondered doing the same engine build down the road. Looking forward to seeing what it puts down on the rollers 👍
For sure want to see a video on the test drive and hopefully a dyno video, to see want this awesome Mach1 will do, these cars are one to have and drive.
Can’t wait to see the update on the Mach‼️
I have personally ran into that issue with the transmission, after hours of fidgeting I was able to get it in by starting the input shaft a few inches into the clutch then rolled the transmission to the left putting the starter ear at 3 O'clock. Ps i did it on the ground. lol, loose concrete soiled with oil.. Will NOT do that again.
Dropping in shorty JBA headers was a nightmare, can only imagine long tubes. A K memeber makes things infinitely more easy. I bought a Kenny Brown unit, and modified the engine mounts for extra clearance.
BBT is in Mississippi on StateLine outside of Memphis trust me.
I can't wait to see more of this car.
I bought a set of cnc ported heads from MHS too and can't wait to get my 96 Gt back on the road. The heads are just beautiful looking no doubt! I for one really want to hear that Mach when It's tuned. Hell maybe you could get us a tuning video of something!!! Love the channel!!
TFS or PI?? I'm waiting to get mine, told me 4 month wait time for my TFS 38cc heads.. :(
I have there TFS 195 heads on my 327 stroker/big big bore modular build. Excellent stuff
@@rickstorm4198 I have them too but never installed in 2yrs, hope they'll be ok.. Was for another car that needs more work tho.. 😬
Awesome car! I Love the editing on the intro, Great job 👍
Nice on how the front calipers are hanging from the caliper hoses., I thought that was a no no.
If they are stainless lines with Teflon liner, sure.... Old rubber hoses ... No biggie... If any damage does occur you'll see it... And in reality you just Saved them from a possible wreck. Because if they are that weak they need replaced anyways. Did thousands of brakes jobs. Only 2 hoses i can remember had issues from letting them hang. They were so old and rotten they needed replaced anyways.
Also you have take weight of caliper into consideration. These are very lite. A dump truck are Uber heavy, in that case sure hang them up.
@@rickstorm4198 It's a poor practice to get into, regardless light weight or not
Not really. What happens is people never reevaluate these "old dogma type rules". Hose manufacturing has come along way since the days that was "deemed" necessary. Single crimp vs double , materials used.... Etc...
People just like to feel like know-it-alls so they chime in saying this kind of stuff.
I have proven quite a few if these old fallicies wrong. Like storing a battery on the floor. 🤣 Storing a battery on the floor doesn't make it drain.
I also saved a car from an engine replacement. Boyfriend dumped sugar into the gas tank. Come in no start, no compression. Every tech and the insurance company said it's "toast". Not me, see I understand more than just remove and replace (sadly thats all most mechanics are good at) im this case i understood the chemical process that happened. I order a qt of trans fluid and 4 new plugs. Pull plugs add ounce to each cylinder crank it over, repeat as necessary checking compression in-between each cycle. Dropped the tank cleaned it out out in new fuel pump. Fired right up. That lady brought me that car another 5 years. She would only let me work on it. I had many customers like that. Because I wasn't some low IQ fool that just parrots stuff because someone else said it must true. I learned to think for myself. Consequently I am almost 50 having switched careers and now hold 3 clinical degrees. I just earned my Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner last year. Guess what i have challenged quite a few of the same problems in nursing.
Take care mate ..
@@rickstorm4198 So what are your thoughts on the covid vaccine, do you believe in natural imunity or do you believe the vaccine is the cure all.
I've got an 03 mach 1 I'm definitely interested in knowing how much this cost you brother
I’m restoring an 03’ V6 convertible, got it for under 3k and it runs great, just needs an interior reset and some cosmetic work.
I put new spark plugs and a new alternator on it.
Beautiful cars on here, as always….I’d love to grab a GT or especially a Mach1.
Don't spend on interior, delete the interior n do weight reduction, should make it funner..lol
@@P71ScrewHead so far I’m $6k into the car, bought it for 2600, so I told myself I would cap it pretty soon and avoid spending more than 8/9k on it.
Now that I’ve had it for a few months, I wish I would have gotten a coupe with better paint, but if I really end up keeping it, I’ll throw some wheels and paint on it. Only because I love new edges and it would be cool to have a tricked-out convertible
@@Okla_Soft Well the good thing is you got the car cheap.. I bought my 09 P71 for $3,500 n have spent over $7k in performance parts, maintenance n labor on it..lol Most parts are still not installed but will be soon, hopefully.. I'd like to paint it all black but I keep it outside n I like not having to worry if I scratch it..lol I'll paint it one day after I install the fender flares for my widened steelies..
Absolutely a terrible idea
Sell that fucken thing and stop wasting money
C head motors can make some good na horsepower. Y'all have all the right parts. Guys trying to get close to 375rwhp will do shorten intake from Todd Warren, high compression, ported heads and cams. Along with every Bolt-on known to man.
I know stroker 323 putting down 493rwhp. Those guys are underpowered a tad. I know it's a cream of the crop engine no expenses spared but its also basic.
@@rickstorm4198 yea they can Def make some power with more cubes, compression, and some nice cams and ported heads etc. It basically becomes more like a coyote at that point because you have the compression the cubes the cams (coyotes have vct stock so their stock cams are way more aggressive than Mach cams which is one of many reasons they make so much more power stock vs stock) once you give the 4v all the tricks the coyote got later they start making power much closer to what coyotes do. Imagine that lol. 😳
Hell I've seen them doing 375 wheel fbo and cams only with stock heads, stock bottom end and a short runner intake. With higher compression and ported heads they can do 400 wheel depending on the fuel ecsp with more cubes.
@@midnight347 yup there are guys touching 500rwhp but I think that's unrealistic for most.
Awesome build. I would have went stroker but understand the added cost.
Update ? How much power did it make, is it still running?
Now I wanna see the driving review!! Lol. I bet it gonna be stout!
This is the exact engine I’m trying to price out and plan, any update on this?
Who made the stroker kit? Or all the parts for it? Where could i get them and would they work on a Cobra 4.6l?
Would tubular k member give more room for the headers? My 93 feature car BBK long tubes didn't agree with the Canton T-race oil pan. BFH fixed it.
You may like the Mach 1 I like the 2001Cobra
The Mach 1 is so sweet from these years. I will own a Coyote swapped Azure Blue Mach some day.
Also Jordan does great work at MHS, super smart guy.
Where can we find more videos on this Mach 1
Is there an update on this project i can watch?
Nice set up! I'm going to guess 375 at the tire. Once said and done! But, that joker is going to be nasty.
They can make that cam only on a stock bottom end on 93 octane. With a 5 liter stroker if it's got the cams and heads to take advantage of the extra cubes and higher compression it's Def gonna see 400+ wheel depending on the fuel.
Currently why I'm not driving my 96 Cobra I have long tubes and I need a clutch Job. Unfortunately for my mechanic he doesn't have a lift.
its a pretty easy job on jackstands, Ive done it solo but would recommend a helper, Easy 4 hour job with a helper. Hardest parts getting input shaft back in
What cubic inch did it get stroked to?? Thanks for the videos!!
300 ci no a big difference for what he did he probably could have got into a cobra set up with a 2.3 supercharger and Ben way further ahead
@@crownvictorialifestyle4421a stroker really doesn't cost that much more than just a forged 4.6. It's a better platform to boost later more displacement is never a bad thing. You'll get a good bit more torque at a lower rpm and you don't gotta Rev it as far to make the power. It will always make more power on less boost when and if you do boost it. Another thing is even if you're boosted it's nice to have that extra torque when not in boost makes it feel alot better on the street even with a pd blower.
Any update on this build?
Nice man 👍
Anyone know how much it put down to the wheels?
Where do u guys get your tunes for these cars at?
you recommend ford motorcraft synthetic blend over full synthetic oil ?
Not much difference in protection. The real difference is in useful life. The synthetic gets more detergents etc....
I prefer blends as well. I find the blends don't burn off as much vas full synthetic.
Yo man someone tried to scare me when I left a comment about your video put a video up telling people not to believe it thanks
Weekend drive way haber frate jackstands job
kooks you can change out the tranmission
Yeeep
Porting 4 valve heads is almost a waste of time they're very costly
He could have just simply got the heads with a valve job new guides valve springs for half the price forget the stroker because it doesn't do much stock crank forged rods & pistons and had 700 hp
🔔😎👍
Guys just FYI, watch out for these spam comments that look like they are from me, THEY AREN'T!
Been reporting em daily for a week or so 👍 freaking 🤡's lol
Nope you said i won 10k in cash prizes. So delivery up punk 😁
Almost every YT channel gets them, anyone who sees them should report them every time.
