I largely agree, with a few small corrections. First, the "West" is not trying to replace anything. There is no 'rules-based international order', and there never was. It was always might-makes-right, the stated rules were always for the nations that are not useful, and never applied to the strong and their allies. @@horsepuncher95 nah I’m also a lawyer specialise in international but mostly the financial elements of private side but the specialising qualification had a big focus on international law more generally and so pretty clear understanding what we did there was a massive breach of international humanitarian law to accept refugees it was also a very clear display of lack of humanity considering conditions but to be cynical it made sense politically, they sent a message of fear into society about refugees on boats. This doesn’t make sense politically imagine voting against taking down the Nazis in WWII it just proves how much control the US has over our government, I hate to rank ppls pain or anything but as an autistic lawyer objectively that was a breach of humanitarian law a lot of countries did that we just took it to new levels as an island this is something else but it’s also a fair point for those in the country that think that was fine

I largely agree, with a few small corrections.
First, the "West" is not trying to replace anything. There is no 'rules-based international order', and there never was. It was always might-makes-right, the stated rules were always for the nations that are not useful, and never applied to the strong and their allies.
Second, Palestine is indeed being flattened by US made bombs dropped by US made planes, but the tanks rolling over there are Israeli made. The US made tanks were the ones used by Saudi Arabia to kill people in Yemen - which is why the nation is not too friendly with USA and international traffic passing next to them.

Yeah, we were some of the fiercest fighters in WW1, WW2 and Korea, we became peace keepers during the Suez Canal Crisis, we had our men in Yugoslavia and Rwanda fighting to protect civilians from genocides in these lands, but when a supposed "ally" is committing the same (and sometimes worse) atrocities as everyone else we stood against before, our government has either turned a blind eye or pretended to walk some razor thin line that they aren't even standing on. In this situation, you're either on the side of stopping the g-cide and actually saving lives or letting the psycho perpetrators continue the bl00dshed.
