We're in Singapore and so excited to share our first video! Thuong also started filming some walking videos in Singapore ua-cam.com/video/DyfqmYZeTs8/v-deo.html
I've been through Changi airport twice and there is so much to see... Sunflower garden, orchid garden, free movies, four story slide, swimming pool, 40 meter tall waterfall (highest indoor waterfall in the world), huge shopping center, hotels, etc.. Wish I were there to enjoy the great food...thanks for the video and have a great time in Singapore...
Welcome to SG! btw 17:31 thats Arab Street that area called Bugis, its where the the Arab, Indian, Bugis, Javanese and Chinese traders set up shop in the early 1800's... Little India is further away.... The area around Farrer Park MRT and Mustafa centre to Little India MRT is where we generally classify as little India...
That fountain and its surroundings was truly jaw dropping, an impressive welcome to Singapore. You both looked and sounded much more relaxed and happy than of late and are clearly excited about the welcome break. Maybe your delight at finding a beloved Japanese restaurant is a hint that it is actually the country in which you would be both the happiest, given the right opportunities. Just look at her face when recalling familiar memories …
It really is! She had a similar reaction when we went to the first pho restaurant after moving to Vietnam though 😂 But yes, it is a very nice change of pace here.
@@TwoWheelCruiseMaybe you should seriously start investigating job opportunities there , with good prospects, maybe for foreign companies . All the best !
Welcome to Singapore!! Really excited you all are here in my home country. Do try the different cuisines found in Singapore especially chicken rice, roti prata and nasi lemak! Hope to bump into you two along the cycling routes in SG! Enjoy!
Hope you had an enjoyable stay here in Singapore! Looking forward to see more videos of your time here. Travellers usually show me a side of this country i’m not aware of, which is really interesting. Hope to have you with us soon again!
It's crazy. I came to your channel for the biking content, but I actually enjoy this non biking stuff more. I think it's because the chemistry and dynamic between you two doesn't show as much when cycling. There's not as much personality on display. But when you two are walking, a lot more personality comes through. And as epic as that waterfall thing was, it doesn't hold a candle to the unbridled positivity and excitement Thuong displays while on an adventure.
Oh wow, thank you so much for your kind words. This is how we are most days 😂 maybe doesn’t show as much while cycling since I am focusing on the road / story
Singapore is on my bucket list. Beautiful and clean. I totally agree with their strict laws. Just don't chew gum. I believe it's not allowed. Correct me if I'm wrong. I hope you both stay there for awhile. So looking forward to your cycling adventures around and about the city.
Apparently it's OK to use, but illegal to sell. But yeah, it's been a very nice change of pace. Only 1 week this time, but we will come back for a longer stay.
@@TwoWheelCruise@ No you are wrong. Banned chewing gums are for the seller and consumer. Our police are serious if they find you carrying them even in small amount. So don't do it. Its not worth the penalty you have to pay as a tourist.
Looks fun so far. Unbelievable about that waterfall in the mall. Beautiful. Yummy food. Yes, very quiet on the roads. Looking forward to other videos coming. Thanks for sharing you two. Have fun and be safe...🎥😃👍👌👊👊👊
Great to see you filming again! You guys have opened my mind and heart so much to the Asian region with your travel and biking vids. So glad you've put in the work to position yourselves with great sponsorship assistance to do it so well.
Thanks! It's nice to be traveling and filming again. We're not the best with finding sponsorships, but something we need to work on moving forward. Thankfully though we have found some good brands to work with occasionally.
We Singaporeans are happy and proud to receive tourists, hoped you enjoyed your stay! The experience/food/people/etc. ✅️ I'm not sure if you catched the light and sound show at Jewel... and theres also the skynets on top
It's great that u had Ma Maison for your first meal because it's one of the best places for tonkatsu here. Don't feel bad about it at all there are just too many things to eat and u'll have lots of choices for local food. Tekka Market is near little India and it's got great stalls and food is way more affordable compared to the airport.
Weather has been pretty wet for cycling so do be careful because the roads here aren't the best for cyclists. If you want something less stressful, the park connectors might be a better choice for a more leisurely ride but you will share the paths with runners and pedestrians.
Have an e-sim capable phone? You can get inexpensive data-only plans online. One service to look at is Airalo. I used Airalo in Singapore and Europe, and it worked well. However, I did need to contact their online customer service chat to configure the cellular settings the first time.
Thanks again & catching up on your Singapore series. You could’ve had both Shake Shack & miso Katsu by splitting both meals 😅. I actually like In N Out better, except it was crazy waiting 30+ minutes for two different LA locations.
Thanks Frank! We got our Shake Shack fix a few days later, but missed out on 5 guys. Can't remember the last time I had In N Out, probably over 10 years though.
Welcome to my country. So glad to see you and Thuong chan. I just subscribed to your channel. Will be looking forward to more videos from your channel.
Never had an experience of Singapore from a tourist point of view as I am born here. Thank you for sharing it with us Singaporeans who usually take what we have for granted. 😅 By the way, if no one have point it out yet, the last part of the video is not Little India. We call it Arab street in general. ✌
I love this video and I hope you had a great experience here in our Green City, Singapore. Green here actually refers to the plants and trees all around. Ooh did you managed to go the basement of Jewel tho? That's where you'll see the very bottom of the waterfall
Looks like something out of Avatar was exactly what I was thinking literally a couple of seconds before you actually said it too. But, yeah, sure makes a statement about the modernity of the city if that's one of the first things you see upon arriving there. Looking forward to seeing more!
Wow! Only four years. changi airport so many changes. So beautiful. My family come here 7.2018 no like today .hope my family can come back again. Singapore nice but so expensive. Have good trips twins 👍
Do remember buying food drinks around marina bay is expensive. Just like other countries, Marina bay is a tourist attraction. You can buy lots of cheaper items in neighbourhoods and least tourism places. Always dine in cheap hawker, follow ny kopotian, food court and lastly expensive restaurants.
Love the waterfall! I'm guessing they are not in a drought situation as we are in parts of the U.S. The streets have proper lane markers and traffic lights. People appear to be obeying a driving educate (Edit: spelling correction, should be "etiquette"). Much more civilized. Always a good sign when people aren't honking their horns. Looking forward to the next video when you go to the bike shop! Have fun!
I wanted to add a screenshot but it seems to me your bike room/bike rack was not nailed to the wall? How do you set it up that way? I live in a similar condo and i am looking for ways to put up the bike rack
Yes, that will answer your question on what will happen if you were to fall in the waterfall. Btw, Welcome to Singapore and hope you enjoy your stay here!
haha people roller blading there it's because there is a park that links right to the airport. though it's not a common occurrence to see people roller blading there though
