Deputy Karen Hicks is giddy after running into a man who she arrested several times throughout her career and has recently found peace and health thanks to his stay in the addiction recovery pod of the Sarasota County Jail. Not only is Deputy Hicks' excitement contagious, but the joy this story brings us is indescribable. HUGE KUDOS to the amazing men and women of our corrections division who work tirelessly to help rehabilitate and create opportunities for those who need it the most. You all are true change makers!
