In the mid seventies my wife and I saw Elvis in concert in Dallas and a couple of days later we were in Memphis and stopped to see Graceland.
We parked out by the stone fence and were the only fans there so we asked the gentleman at the gate if it was okay to take some pictures.
Turns out it was Elvis's uncle Vester and he put us in a jeep and took us up the drive....showed us around (but only outside....but even out back by the kidney bean shaped pool) and took our picture standing on the front porch!
I picked up a leaf from the ground and it's still my most prized possession!

James W Most heart warming.... that’s the kind of thing I’d do ...they can keep all their trinkets and souvenirs, give me a beautiful day , with the ones I love , the feeling and energy by the pool must have been one to remember.. and that leave would have meant the world to me ... .. love your story ,, Scotland

I heard about the crippled lady and the wheel chair. How heart touching. His generosity was Elvis wanting to share with others who had less. I watched a video titled Elvis A Generous Heart but it is so much better hearing it from his family. Thanks again for another Elvis video. God Bless.

I love the story about Elvis buying the truck for the old couple and how he even made sure they got their wood. Generosity like that is just so rare. Just like Elvis was rare he had a beautiful soul too. Everything about Elvis was beautiful....

Billy, I am extremely happy that you and your family are doing this. It just seems to bring Elvis right back into the room with us. I still have my tickets from 1977 when he was going to be in Lexington, Kentucky. needless to say, money could not buy them!

I would just like to say how happy these videos and stories about Elvis make me... I grew up listening to Elvis and was 21 when he died... I had a chance to go to a concert he was giving back in 76 in Indianapolis... At the time I was in the Navy and was trying to get back to my duty station... So, I thought that I’d just catch him another time instead... I have kicked my self ever since for not taking the time to go.... Anyway, the stories really help me be able to resolving the issue in my mind... God bless you all.... Please keep the videos going....

Do you remember traveling to Savannah Georgia for a concert with Elvis in 1977? And do you remember when Lisa was throwing stuff at fans lol. She mentioned it in a interview, I couldn't stop cracking up. I love that Elvis did a lot for people, you don't see that ever with celebrities.

THANK YOU...for speaking about the black couple at 6:27 because as an African American, I was told as a child that Elvis was racist. I had never heard or seen any proof of that, but back in the 80s that was the rumor. Then this wonderful (and sometimes scary) thing named the Internet was created and then came the videos of The King's black backup singers (one being Whitney Houston's mother Cissy), talking about how Elvis refused to do a show when the concert hall instructed him to leave his black backup singers at home. This man - dare I say the 'hottest, sexiest, most desired white man alive" at that time, was willing to back out of a major show, if his black singers could not attend. Then he had the daggone nerve to put them in a convertible, and drive them onto the concert field as a big F...you to the people that did not want them there. Then came the videos of his black cook that said he was not just the nicest man, but he took her to a sweet little house one day, looked at her and said, "This is yours...if you want it" and would often show up there and declare that he just wanted to stay there with her. Then there was the black backup singer saying that she and Elvis had serious chemistry, flirted all the time and he asked her out after she broke up with her boyfriend. So much for Elvis being a racist. You know I just have to say thank you all for this video, because God chose you all to be a part of something so rare and powerful, that decades later people are still hungry for any little bit of information you can share. So thank you again, for sharing because it truly does make a difference. God that man deserved more respect than he got at the end of his life, but I know very soon, we will get that motion picture, that truly shows him for the deeply intelligent, spiritual and creative man he was. I love you all for this...thank you.

I'm not aware of Elvis having any Black people in the band of as back up singers in the late 50s or early 60s.
If these accounts are from the late 60s or early 70s I find it hard to believe that he was told to not have black people up on stage with him, segregation was long gone before I'm aware that he actually worked with any blacks.

Elvis was so successful and famous, but despite all that, must have really cared about normal people. Imagine how those people felt, not only meeting him when their vehicle broke down that day, but then he went and bought them a brand new truck! In many ways Elvis responded like Jesus, non judging, giving and sharing and kind but with flaws, that made him human. But what a great human being he was. Humanitarian is an understatement for this man really. In the museum near his Tupelo home they show a little toy car Elvis gave away to a friend when he was little, while he had just little toys to himself, his giving nature was already showing at a young age.

💜 beautiful stuff. I apologize if you all have already got around to doing it on another video, I'm not aware of... but if not... the discussion you were all having around 8 Minute mark about there being many different stories like this "almost too many to tell" including very heartwarming touching stories... if you would please consider doing an entire video dedicated to perhaps a handful of stories ( like the one involving him helping the gentleman with the broken down truck).
There are many of us fans out here that live for those type of stories and perhaps not enough of them are well known or documented as well as they should be.
Would certainly love for Billy and Joe to be able to use their own memories to make sure some of the perhaps lesser-known stories do not get lost to history, and can be covered by you all as often as you can think of them or discuss as many as possible on future videos
    Thank you so much!

I've been to Graceland once and recently just got back from Nashville visiting the Johnny Cash lake house what's left of it. Was wondering, has Elvis ever been to Johnny's house in Hendersonville or Johnny at Graceland? Also did Elvis have his stage suits dry cleaned and did he have to have somebody to trust to do so?

Twice i just about met Elvis, but i guess it wasnt meant to be.
Once, i dont recall if it was 1973 or 1974 Elvis was in Palm Springs for his birthday??? Or so i was told, signing autographs. Anyhow...i was 10 minutes away from Palm Springs on vacation with my mom and dad...when my stepfather changed his mind about going there and headed in a different location. I never forgave him for that :(.
Second time i was 15...My friend Fran and I had secretly made arrangements to go to the USA ( i live in Canada) and we were heading down to Memphis.. basically we were going to run away lol
Anyhow it was all planned we were to leave in the morning... of course we didnt know Elvis had plans on leaving on tour at that time...(we were young and stupid) lol anyhow the night before we left i was watching the news ( my sister was on the phone) and the guy said....ELVIS PRESLEY DIED. I yelled OMG..Elvis died. My sister screamed WHAT!!! Anyhow. .we spent the night balling our eyes out.

What great stories!!! Please keep them coming. Please talk a little bit more about the house that was bulldozed. Also, when was the last time you all were at Graceland? Wishing you a beautiful Easter 🐣

In 1966 I snuck into a Grateful Dead concert. Walnut Creek, California. Elvis was OK like so many.

I’m with the rest of your followers, I watch for Memphis Mafia Kid to come out with a new episode every day!!!!! What a fabulous show to honor a beautiful spirit. It is clear why Elvis loved and trusted you in good times and bad. Question: So many sources have talked about how Elvis was really particular about his silverware and drinking out of a glass where no one else would generally drink from, almost a bit of a germaphobe. I always wonder how this can be when he kissed so many women every night during his concerts! I don’t know if anyone has ever made any kind of educated guess on the number of women he kissed that were simply fans, yet he didn’t want to eat from unknown silverware ... Billy and Jo, any ideas?

Yeah I love how they talk about Elvis Presley learned so much that I didn't know bye watching they video I wasn't even born in Elvis Presley time period cause I wasn't born till like January 13th of 1978 but I seen every movie he every did and. Listen to every song he ever sing as far as singers Elvis was top notch there will never be another Elvis Presley they ones follow our try be like him just imitators of him some good most not as good he was all of em couldn't beat Elvis if he was in a impersonator contest with himself cause they couldn't pull off what he did at all

I just enjoy your stories!! I just wanted to tell your that Lisa , Priscilla and their kids/ grandkids are missing out ( if they haven’t been in touch with you guys) I’d definitely would love to be adopted!! You guys are so down to earth and approachable just like Elvis 🕺🏻 but I would love to know how you base your questions from and where to send them to you if ever I did have a question to ask. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend!! 😚
