@@JimHayesHiking Hi and thanks Jim! I had to work a bit and got to play a bit too👌 Yep, if Steve had a net that would have been fun- weren’t the Graylings pretty! As for elevation, we’ve gone up to the high Uintas a few times now, and it gets easier each time, in that you know what to expect and how to adapt to the elevation. It starts to affect most people at 6,000’. The first time I had no energy or appetite.. finally some salty snack bars helped me get my appetite going. It takes about 3 days for us to adjust, with no medication, just taking it slow. We were camping at 8,000’ and hiked at 7,000’ the first day, then a short hike at 10,000’ the second day and then back to 8,000’ to sleep. It’s so pretty there, it’s worth it to us to take it slow and enjoy- we were there about 10 days so we felt great the last week.
Enjoyed the video. Notch lake reservoir is pretty much drained by the middle of July and it is ugly as sin. Bench lake is very pretty and peaceful as you stated but the lake is not stocked with fish.
Hi- yes, it was quite surprising to see Notch Lake so low... we hadn't expected that. Yes, we really enjoyed Bench Lake, so peaceful with a great view of the mountain. Thanks!
Well, it takes time each visit to acclimate. We camped at about 8,000’ and took it slow at lower elevation for a couple days. Then after 2-3 days you get adjusted and don’t really notice it! 😆😄 Thanks!!

Thanks!
Wow those high elevation lakes sure are pretty! How did the elevation affect breathing?
Not that I ever use one…A UV filter will cut right through the water glare. Nice Utah series Jennifer!
Carry on llamas lol
Ah thanks! I’ll have to get one!
Well, it takes time each visit to acclimate. We camped at about 8,000’ and took it slow at lower elevation for a couple days. Then after 2-3 days you get adjusted and don’t really notice it! 😆😄 Thanks!!
Eso es semi desertico no
Yes! Thanks! 😄
Thank you for the wonderful views from your hike ~ I love that y'all are traveling around to trails in different states, super cool
@@Davids_Mandarin_Musings Hi David! Have you visited Utah? This area is basically east of Salt Lake City - beautiful to be up in the high elevation mountains- thanks!! 😄☀️☀️
