feeding the seagulls is one of my favorite things to do at the shore. when you feed them often they will trust you alot more and get to walk around holding a seagull or having them land on your head! i usually have laughing gulls where i am and they really do sound like there laughing. there is a seagull that really trusts me he's huge with no legs. he bounces and uses his wings to get around. he lays on my lap while i feed the others. i named him lumpy
i find it most helpful to tear apart slices of bread like 3 or 4 slices at a time into hand fulls and toss em out like that , it feeds a few seagulls at a time instead of one at a time or 2 , which keeps em from fighting over the food too , and most animals won't bother taking another ones food if they have something in their bellies too , some foods Seagulls like to eat are Grapes Purple or green , Soft Cake little icing if any and no heavy fruit toppings , Bananas in chunks no skin , crushed chips but soft chips if possible and of course canned fish like sardines or kippers , i was surprised to find out Seagulls can drink Salt water too

There isn't just a gull - they're common gulls, herring gulls, lesser black-backed etc. Seagulls is a catchall term because a gull is a seabird. Even though they are not always by the sea and might hunt and nest inland.
