- Опубліковано 20 лип 2019
- Most FAQ in my 3 DAYS SOLO BUSHCRAFT documentary was how you pack your equipment and gear. No talking, just 1 shot video of my bushcraft gear and load out: a traditional Russian Canvas backpack Veshmeshok, Russian Canvas Tent Плаш Палатка as shelter and a wool blanket. Axe, frame saw and knife. Hand tools for woodworking and carving. Cooking kit: Zebra Billy Can, Foldable Fry Pan, Armenian coffee pot Jazva and fresh food. Kuksa & carved Bowl. Love the woods and enjoy.

A perfect example of how SILENCE IS GOLDEN! You manage to convey everything without saying a word. BEAUTIFUL!!! I really love your videos. GREAT job! I can't wait for the next one.
I dont think deaf people would agree that silence is golden.
@@knifedetective259 I am deaf. It's fine.

You never cease to amaze me - the calm, methodical way you approach your videos leads me to believe that is the way you live your life daily - so impressed with each of your videos - thank you for sharing a part of your life with us! May God bless you !
It is so incredibly calming because you do not speak anything .. You have everything with you .. you certainly don't have it with you .. It is very important how you pack and you are a professional in it .. For me you are the absolute bushcraft Queen .. yes and your dog, I love him❤️🥰👍
Young lady, I’ve been following you for about a month now. I’m an old guy and I do like to be respectful to everyone I speak with. In saying that after watching a few videos I’m assuming your name is Ani so in the future I’ll refer to you as that. If I’m incorrect please correct me. I have found your style of bushcraft video making to be far superior than most with much attention to detail without a lot of gibberish being spoken. Keep up the good work. God bless you. (Old guy from Arkansas)🇺🇸
Firts, thank you so much for the comment and yes, my name is Ani, but not from Anne or Ana, but from the anciente Armenian city of Ani (Անի ) ATB to you and so welcome :)
ani4x4 coming from Armenia do you know much about Noah’s Arc?
@@stevenbp101 jeez....Having too much moonshine now did you?
Thank you very much!
Even though you don't speak much, or not at all, i learn alot from your videos.
i like being able to observe what you do and figure out solutions in my head.
This is a fine example that not everything needs to be explained. sometimes, patience and observance is enough.. No need for more.
Thank you, and Lots of gratitude!
patience and observance!!!! The greatest way to learn :) Thanks a lot for your comment. Nice to read something like that

Having watched your video, we recognized most equipment.
Thank you.
Auger bit diameter & length (0.5" × 4" ?).
Who makes such tools today? Simple.
Curved carving knife?
Some items are still mystery. Canteen?
What is container with eggs used for?
You chose each item based on experience.
What is floor mat ?
What cloth is cooking utensil covers?
What cloth is tent?
American Civil War re-enactors use cotton cloth tent design you might appreciate, for one man (& dog). Small, light, simple design.
You could make one.
@@charlesmichaels6648 Auger is that one, exactly. I got it some years ago but have to link you because I don`t remember where from. Canteen I use the 64oz Stainless Steel Klean Kanteen and the 27oz classic. I usually carry the eggs in the upper compartment of the Zebra pot. Cover for cooking set are made from very old trousers, cotton, just to have them protected and more silent when packed. Tent: is is not a proper tent but a canvas tarp from the soviet age called Plash Palatka, used by the Red Army, cotton, and very tough and cheap. I will investigate about American Civil War era tents :) Thanks a lot
@@ani4x4
Plash Palatka (cloak tent) is like "poncho."
Poncho with liner is light, durable, & very warm, even when wet (emergency shelter).
Best tent we met is "domed 2 man hiking tent, (with floor & top rain cover/porch, rear window, front door with screen for air.
We used it in winter.
Light, inexpensive, & simple design, using 2 fiberglass rod assembly, crossing at top of tent. Nylon.
Sleeping bag needed.
Advantage: Bugs out.
Your system is best for your situation, using campfire for heat, & bug deterrent.
But how do you deal with crawling critters
creeping at night, eg ticks, etc.
Caribbean homes use soapy water with turpentine (1 oz/5gal)
applied to floor daily. Burning orange peel releases citronella to chase flying bugs......
@@ani4x4
Why 2 canteens?
Volume?
What is "Zebra pot,"
(looks like double boiler)???
Half inch auger is good size for wood dowel carpentry use (before steel nails).
One of my favourite "load out" videos on youtube. And defiantly the best looking
dog on any bushcraft channel :-)
Maks is a great companion :) Thanks a lot for watching and for the comment :)
This video is an great example for nature lovers
Yup guys it’s damn true
You don’t have to say a word. You got your stuff together. You’re an example of what it’s all about. A picture is worth a thousand words. Never forget the flask. Dog. A man’s best friend or a woman’s best friend.
:) Totally agree
Thank you so much 🌷 finally I found where do you keep the eggs 😂😂👍🏻
hahahahahahaha :) Nice to know it is useful :)
I love learning from the Master! Thanks you so much! I love Maks! He is such a protector!
I enjoy your videos, mostly because you are a doer not a talker. Without speaking you show a lot. Thank you for sharing your experiences. No need to speak at all...
Muy buen vídeo!! Aunque echamos de menos tu voz aprendemos de tu conocimiento, gracias compañera!!! Very Good video, even missing your voice, we learn from your knowledge, thanks, mate!!!!

Este video es un poco respuesta a los comentarios al anterior video de bushcraft, y la verdad un poco complicado decidir que idoma usar..Español? Armenio? Ruso? Ingles? asi que decidi por el silencio :)

Hola. Que bueno que volviste. Grs
No space wasted and all useful. Not many are as thorough as you.
I don't carry a saw. Not much to cut with it out on the tundra and barren lands. Just essentials. My dog and I hunt together.
Maks is a very patient companion. 👍
Fantastic that you prove the cheap and cheerful vemoshok rucksack is so useable and for 3 days.
Brilliant 👍🏻
Wow that was plenty of things in that backpack. I like that rustik backpack. 👍
:)
common sense packing. Love your interaction with your shepherd too!
Thanks a lot :)
Thank you SO much Ani! I truly hope that this video launches a UA-cam-wide trend of no-talk gear load outs! All that gab becomes ear-numbing and is unnecessary most of the time. THANK YOU!! 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
All that in a veshmeshok! Incredible! Much respect!
:) Thanks a lot
Well done. Everything you need and nothing you don't. I hope you and your beautiful companion puppy had a great outing.
This season is very nice outdoor :) Thanks a lo

Thank you for these little gems
Thanks to you for commenting :) That rucksack it is the old soviet Veshmeshok. Simple but bombproof :)
Without doubt the coolest Bushcraft practitioner on UA-cam - words are not required, even Maks understands.
hahahahahaha Maks is quite clever :)

She looks French...And her crafting skills with just basic hand tools. Is astonishing. She knows how to apply them. With what she has available.
Great Stuff..
Armenian, in fact :)
A very good example of how actions speak louder than words. Thank you for the thorough show-no-tell! This was great! All one continuous shot but you had good light, and framed it in a way that was close enough to see the individual pieces, but wide enough to see your system in its entirety. The little gestures like smelling the contents of a tin, or working a component of your kit showed what it was and its features without being redundant or repetitive. You have a kit that is obviously well tested and has been refined by experience, skills, and growth. Thank you for sharing! 🇨🇦❤️👍👍
Thanks a lot for such a comment :)
Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed seeing how well packed you have everything, and what things you take with you.
I have to admit though, as I was watching, I kept thinking of how you are going to have to pack everything back up when your done. I guess that only goes to show how lazy I am getting in my old age?
Moonshinedave
Some back packs have compartments for specific items. While convenient,
obsolescence looms ahead. Changes in equipment, sizes, cost & availability alter resourcing.
Simple bag holds more too, but weight?
Vest, & cargo pockets provide quick access to key items......
Ani, I like your content & the videos are planned out well. I also like that you don't use language, so more people can enjoy your content. I was able to identify all but the small pieces & some vegetables. It would help if you zoom in on smaller things & maybe add in some international symbols to communicate what something is. Also, for those of us that research items in your videos, maybe add a picture of the original packaging or a picture of the plants that you use. Those would be helpful!
I like the simplicity & your comfort level in these videos. Thank you for sharing!
Sir ~Jazz~
I pay attention to your suggestions :) Thanks a lot
It's amazing how much stuff you can pack in such a small space. It's all about the food and fire for me. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, food and tools
You did a wonderful job. I got more from just watching the individual steps you took in preparing your campsite,, than videos with long, loud narration. Thank You
As I was taught, less talking more working :)
Hello Ani! Wow 2 vids in one day! I like it, as I've said before your gear is top notch. I very much like your frying pan! The handle that allows for a sharpened branch is genius. Question Ani, would you prefere i form my comments in english or spanish? Have a great day cannot wait to get to northern spain.
Well equiped, smart, and beautiful.
No words at all, but I understand everything! Thanks so much!
She would be a great camping partner! Resourceful , QUIET, and the dog is great also. Love these videos.
Wow you know what your doing. Every little space used. I like the way you care for the bag of tools as well. Sharp no rust. One question do you just use a woolly blanket and a canvas tarp with natural insulation underneath like grass or leaves. And dies the wool keep you warm in the autumn and winter. Again a sign of experience by using this sort of shelter. Thanks another really informative video 😁
Thanks a lot. Tools take care of us when we need them, so we must care of them :) I always use wood and leaves o grass to isulate, even in winter. For instance ua-cam.com/video/k7xMktOJdT0/v-deo.html Although sunny it was filmed in January
@@ani4x4 thanks I'll watch that now. I do t have a TV at home I just watch stuff on UA-cam like yours. You learn that way. Thanks again 😁

Харизматичная и целеустремлённая ! Приятно смотреть !!!
Большое спасибо :)
Now that is a pack worthy of RESPECT . I like that you carry fresh food . I'm always looking for ways to carry more non-perishable food . Great video !
In summer meat is difficult but for short periods of time there is no need of canned or prepared food. And cooking over the fire is always so nices
Like a proud parent showing off a child. And rightly so. Clean, Simple, no frills, and very dependable. What you don't have you can make. I just goes to show you don't need a lot to have a lot.
Muchas gracias Ani por enseñarnos tu equipo.
