  • Most FAQ in my 3 DAYS SOLO BUSHCRAFT documentary was how you pack your equipment and gear. No talking, just 1 shot video of my bushcraft gear and load out: a traditional Russian Canvas backpack Veshmeshok, Russian Canvas Tent Плаш Палатка as shelter and a wool blanket. Axe, frame saw and knife. Hand tools for woodworking and carving. Cooking kit: Zebra Billy Can, Foldable Fry Pan, Armenian coffee pot Jazva and fresh food. Kuksa & carved Bowl. Love the woods and enjoy.

Young lady, I’ve been following you for about a month now. I’m an old guy and I do like to be respectful to everyone I speak with. In saying that after watching a few videos I’m assuming your name is Ani so in the future I’ll refer to you as that. If I’m incorrect please correct me. I have found your style of bushcraft video making to be far superior than most with much attention to detail without a lot of gibberish being spoken. Keep up the good work. God bless you. Auger bit diameter & length (0.5" × 4" ?).
Who makes such tools today? Simple.
      Curved carving knife?
Some items are still mystery. Canteen?
What is container with eggs used for?
You chose each item based on experience.
      What is floor mat ?
What cloth is cooking utensil covers?
      What cloth is tent?
American Civil War re-enactors use cotton cloth tent design you might appreciate, for one man (& dog). Small, light, simple design.

@@charlesmichaels6648 Auger is that one, exactly. I got it some years ago but have to link you because I don`t remember where from. Canteen I use the 64oz Stainless Steel Klean Kanteen and the 27oz classic. I usually carry the eggs in the upper compartment of the Zebra pot. Cover for cooking set are made from very old trousers, cotton, just to have them protected and more silent when packed. Tent: is is not a proper tent but a canvas tarp from the soviet age called Plash Palatka, used by the Red Army, cotton, and very tough and cheap. I will investigate about American Civil War era tents :) Thanks a lot

Plash Palatka (cloak tent) is like "poncho."
Poncho with liner is light, durable, & very warm, even when wet (emergency shelter).
Best tent we met is "domed 2 man hiking tent, (with floor & top rain cover/porch, rear window, front door with screen for air.
      We used it in winter.
Light, inexpensive, & simple design, using 2 fiberglass rod assembly, crossing at top of tent. Nylon.
      Sleeping bag needed.
      Advantage: Bugs out.
Your system is best for your situation, using campfire for heat, & bug deterrent.
But how do you deal with crawling critters
creeping at night, eg ticks, etc.
Caribbean homes use soapy water with turpentine (1 oz/5gal)
applied to floor daily. Burning orange peel releases citronella to chase flying bugs......

A very good example of how actions speak louder than words. Thank you for the thorough show-no-tell! This was great! All one continuous shot but you had good light, and framed it in a way that was close enough to see the individual pieces, but wide enough to see your system in its entirety. The little gestures like smelling the contents of a tin, or working a component of your kit showed what it was and its features without being redundant or repetitive. You have a kit that is obviously well tested and has been refined by experience, skills, and growth. Thank you for sharing! 🇨🇦❤️👍👍

Some back packs have compartments for specific items. While convenient,
obsolescence looms ahead. Changes in equipment, sizes, cost & availability alter resourcing.
Simple bag holds more too, but weight?
Vest, & cargo pockets provide quick access to key items......

Ani, I like your content & the videos are planned out well. I also like that you don't use language, so more people can enjoy your content. I was able to identify all but the small pieces & some vegetables. It would help if you zoom in on smaller things & maybe add in some international symbols to communicate what something is. Also, for those of us that research items in your videos, maybe add a picture of the original packaging or a picture of the plants that you use. Those would be helpful!
I like the simplicity & your comfort level in these videos. Thank you for sharing!

It's like watching a magic show where the magician just keeps pulling thing out of his hat! Crazy how well you've managed to pack so many useful items so efficiently. I bet many of us men could learn some things from you after watching this. By the way your dog looks to be the perfect companion too.

Hello Ani, greetings from Northern California. Happy Sunday to you. Thank you for sharing your fine gear loadout. You have some great equipment. It will make your life very comfortable in the back country. You are very well organized for your three day bushcraft outing. I still like your dog, a great companion to have in the outdoors. Be sure to take good care of yourself. The very best to you in good health and safety. 🤗
