The interviewer started this so calm and compassionate, by the end she's snappy and visibly irritated. You can see in real time how attempting to have a discussion with someone like AH just brings out the worst in everyone.

As a survivor of DV I'm angry at AH and her lies. There was plenty of evidence showing she's a liar, and also plenty of evidence showing JD was the one being abused by her. It's crazy to watch abuser lie and say they're the victim. In a way she's still abusing and defaming Johnny. Disgusting behavior.

She has nothing more to lose because her career is dead, she is broke and her dignity never mattered to her anyway. What could be the consequences of her lies then? Jail time? While I'm not a victim of domestic abuse, I've had people like her in my life (all men, they were manipulative, pathological liers, using DARVO all the time, etc...) ... Yes, there is an evidentiary rule that says a person has the right to introduce a full recording if a partial recording is presented to a jury. So the full recordings must have been worse if Amber’s team didn’t ask to have them admitted as evidence

Either the defense or the plaintiff could have moved for the entirety of the tapes to be admitted but neither did, only moving for the portions played at trial to be.

As a person that watched the ENTIRE trial, including the long boring parts. I didn't need a meme or tiktok to decide she was lying. I don't even have tiktok or Twitter, no social media at all! This journalist is either quite diplomatic or so skillful in conversation that she could fool you into thinking she's on your side- so that you let down your guard enough to tell more of your story. I've watched the interviewers (Savannah Guthrie) from the start. She used to be a really good journalist. As time went on as she worked for NBC, she has really shown herself to be a phony journalist. I used to watch Morning Joe when they first started and she used to do pieces for them. Chuck Todd, Her, Joe and Mica all have totally became activist and radical journalists supporting the radical left agenda. Remember she did a huge interview with Trump when he was running the second time. She asked such biased questions and questions that were not fair and balanced. She tried to rile him up and get u der his skin. I believe the interview is still on YT. Morning Joe used to be a joy to watch. They shifted to everything non trump instead of being impartial and never said a bad thing about Joe Biden. Savannah used to be a joy to watch, and so joyful about her career. Something is very wrong with CNN and NBC, ABC. It's sickening. Diane Sawyer used to be a pleasure to watch. She asked tough questions and edgy questions that really made for a good conversation and would look at it from both sides. Same with Barbara Walters. These ladies were amazing interviews. The Robert Blake jail Interview, etc. Savannah can't hold a candle to those ladies.

I used to be a liar as a kid. Strictly compulsive. Couldn’t help myself at all. It just happened and kept happening and at some point I knew I could never come clean because I had convinced myself that those lies were true.
This is why I don’t believe Amber. Every single thing that comes out of her becomes lie after lie and because of my own past, I know EXACTLY what that looks like. It is REVOLTING. The way that her eyes express zero emotion, the way that she just spews words out, the way that she puts fault on everyone around her then tries to take it back then does it again. And her testimony, you can tell which part is true and which part is a flat lie. It’s a weird tell that she has that I simply cannot explain.
I truly hope that she finds healing and understands that the accountability she really needs to take is the accountability of not assuming that she’s above it all and having this “holier than thou” stance on everything.

I genuinely believe that Amber thinks that when Johnny walked away from a situation, her mind translated that as neglect and then abuse. If so, she needs CBT and psychotherapy to help her with that. My experience with trauma is you gotta learn from it and learn to live with it, not repeat it.

The interviewer, Savannah Guthrie, did an excellent job - for those who don't know, she's also a lawyer/has a law degree. Also, the tapes were all entered into evidence in their entirety; that's why lawyers for both sides would specify what parts they were playing. The jury had access to listen to everything together in the privacy of their deliberation room, not just what the lawyers chose to play in court.
