Thank you Jens - you show that this and similar pieces do not need to be played on an unmolested Cliquot organ to know pretty well how Couperin would have heard them. He'd be tickled pink to have thought that his music would have survived 250-odd years and still played with respect.

This organ does do Couperin justice. However, having played Couperin myself at Poitiers, and fairly recently heard Couperin at St-Maximin, there IS a difference.
