No doubt he deserves higher. This kid is legit. Went to a few camps with him and he stood above the rest even Issac Wilson. Prime example of social media matters even though it shouldn't. I hope he uses SUU to catapult to D1, he is special. Not to mention all the career stats in high school. Now do Landon Figueroa. No 1 receiver in state at 132 ypg and had highest yardage game in the nation this year at 372 yds and 5 tds. Jr. year no 7 in the state. 3 kickoffs returned for td's. First year playing hs football. Great content!!

Just had to throw in that Jackson ended the year with 51 TDs and 4,448 yards and lead the team to a state championship appearance against the 18th ranked team in the country. Team lost but had 510 yards of total offense

One thing to consider is that the highlights may be similar, but what separates the good from great players is how you perform in average.

There's a bigger difference between the 2 than we see in this video. Full season highlights vs 2 games, not to mention we don't see any of the bad in highlight videos

You are so wrong my friend. Stevens is going to be going to UNLV as I currently understand. The kid has a good shot at being QB1 because he is graduating in December and enrolling early.
Stevens is in the Utah High School record book for being in the top 10 in 9 different categories. Jim McMahon for example is not even in the book anymore for anything.

I mean, if you're Utah, why not take a shot at this kid? It's not like any big name QB recruits are going to Utah

Issac Wilson is going to Utah. The younger brother of Jets Zach Wilson.
You have an excellent point though. They have a kid (Bryson Barnes) who was a walk on & played 1A football and was not even recruited by a single college as the current starter...well until he hit the Transfer Portal to try to get some of that $$.

    Great job.
Follow up, Jackson took Skybridge to the Utah 6A state championship & had 4,448 passing yards & 51 TD passing & 3 rushing TD's while completing 63.6% of his passes.
They lost to Utah Football powerhouse Corner Canyon, run by Head Coach Eric Kjar. Since Eric has taken over as the Head Coach, every single Starting QB has gone DI. Including Zach Wilson - NY JETS, Jackson Dart - Current starter QB for Ole Miss, Devin Brown - probably should have been the starter for Ohio State the entire year (but Ryan Day is an idiot who can't figure out anything). As well as Issac Wilson, the QB Jackson lost to in the Championship.
Corner Canyon has something like 8 kids going to FBS schools from the 2024 class and they will have several more that end up at DI schools via JUCO. Eric should probably be coaching at the college level since he started coaching as a QB coach out of Wayne State, every single QB he has coached as a starting QB has gone to play FBS or FCS Football.
Corner Canyon ended as the #14 ranked high school team in the country in 2023. Eric has now won 4 of the last 6 state championships & has also been in all 6 of the games.
When you have parents that are moving across the country to have a kid play for a guy that has a resume like his, you have to ask why he has not been given an opportunity to coach QB's at the FBS level.
That's exactly what Gus Malzahn did before coaching in college, but he took more than double the years Eric has been able to win 4 state titles. So I ask anyone who is willing to post a legitimate answer, why is a coach that has played in 6 straight State Championship games, won 4 of them, has put numerous kids in the NFL. Has over 2 dozen players starting at FBS schools & just produced 3 of the top 6 recruits in the state not coaching for a Power 4 school?

Utah is currently producing the 10th most Division I scholarship athletes as a state if you measure the amount of kids that are going to DI schools on full scholarship by population percentage. 247 did an amazing article about a year ago in regards to the population each state and the number of DI Athletes it produces based on percentages. In order to understand you have to read the article. However it ranked Utah as one of the top 15 states that you should be recruiting in despite the fact that Utah has a smaller population than most states.
