Also, dont forget there is no relegation / promotion in the US. Which just makes "bad" teams tank / lose on purpose which is dumb and very unsportsman-like, IMHO. In global football, fans can STILL be happy about surviving in the league and not getting kicked out(or a lower league team winning promotion). You'll never see this in America which is a damn shame.
@@adamh4h4 I don't think you need promotion and relegation. Do you know how big the entirety of the United States is? You can literally make five leagues of 20 - 22 teams for each league with enough time, resources, development, and passion.
@@adamh4h4relegation system will create disparity between team revenue which will end up creating situations like in europe where one league is dominated by 3-4 while america sport always has different challenger and winner every year
*OR AT LEAST THIS IS WHAT AMERICAN SPORT FAN TRYING TO CONVINCE ME 😂*
@@manzac112i think what you average american didn't understand is that football or soccer is a sport that relies more on technique and skill rather than physical
even in epl where physical matter there's also emphasized on technique and skill as well
@@1607Adi_Manz Not really parity all the time, there are plenty of instances in American sports where we've had teams that have won multiple championships in a certain span of time. But, I also do have a problem with American leagues punishing owners that are willing to invest in a long-term competitive or winning product for the fans.
15:36 that’s DC United not Chicago Fire
15:35 is so wrong how to mistake coaching dc united for Chicago fire like literally the video is showing dc united
To tell them that football is called football not soccer
It’s very simple, lots of money to play semi pro football
We getting any premier clueless American guide for the 2023-24 season this year? Loved the one you put out last year :)
Did bale play in the MLS too?
Well, he won Football/Soccer, next thing was going to where they have Disneyland.
Its Orlando City not Orlando FC
If my mom was on studio 54 then she will remove andy warhol hair lol!!!😂😂😂
Why are people pretending that messi isn't getting like the same amount of money as in saudi arabia, and why are people shocked that messi went to get some groceries
Great vid tho I watched it like 4 times
Gareth Bale, Youri Djorkaeff RIP...
Controversial Opinion : If NASL continued after Pele, Cruyff with big players like Maradona, Platini etc then they could've been as big as EPL or La Liga by now...
Yeah, no. There have been plenty of attempts at creating super rich leagues with big names at various places without football tradition (US, India, China, Saudi). it doesn't work. You need deeper roots - homegrown quality talent, quality youth coaches and academies, die-hart supporters, a living football pyramid, tradition, etc.
@@albinjohnsson2511 India has a Football tradition of more than 200 years... Mohunbagan was founded in 1889 and it's the oldest club Asia... Mohunbagan vs East Bengal Derby has the record for most watched Derby in the world... History of Indian football is much older and much richer than USA, China or Desert environment...
Wait Beckham has a clause that he would receive a share from stadium profits? Holy what a deal, have yall seen ticket prices of Miami games.
The tickets are only that expensive cause they’re re sold. If you are able to get them directly from Miami they’re not that expensive
No Cruyff? dang thats crazy.
Quality of Life. Cant compare to anywhere else in North/South America, unless they dont care about that. Plus we know Messi will become partial owner of the team and for that reason hes gonna try to promote the MLS and his team aswell.
5:35 any fellow kings league enjoyers?
"Money." thank u guys for watching and i'll see u the next video, ka'chaww.
Yes
The first thing to promote the sport is stop calling it soccer and call it football
What about the Zlatan?!?!?! How can we forget the Zlatan?!?!!
I like Messi did not become a prostitute playing for Saudi Arabia. I think the timezone played a big role of him chosing the US
Who wrote this dudes script? GpT?
The stigma against MLS needs to end if we want to increase its prestige. It also doesn't help that the Saudis are buying up European players who aren't even out of their prime yet.
Saudi definitely know about football. They're one of most dominant team in AFC.
@@MasonGreenWeed Saudi league is ranked 58th in the world…
@@dr.woozie7500we said in AFC not world, you can't read or what ?
All I hear I players past their prime coming to America and still being as serviceable as the players in their prime in the MLS. When you have to rely on European teams to take your talents to grow your us born players l, you can’t tell me your league is growing. You wouldn’t catch me saying Canadian and Nigerian leagues are growing.
👆🐐👆👑👑👑⚽ The King Messi is now playing Soccer.
The fact that ypu ignored Robbie Keane, who has scored more goals in the MLS than anyone else listed, even though you showed his image several times, is sad. He is easily the greatest European success story in MLS history, he is the one who peaked the attention of many prem fans, myself included, to the MLS. An intentional omission, but not one I can comprehend. Truly a missed opportunity.
