My wife is convinced she's heard this same beautiful introduction of this great HIDE song in a Spanish Christian music song many years ago. Interesting. South America. Japan. Christian music? Rock music? Same intro? Now she's thinking real hard trying to identify the song in question so she can listen to both songs and compare out of curiosity.
I listened to the Hatsune Miku version of this song dozens of times before realizing it was... this. It sounds a lot different, and I prefer that version, but they're practically in whole different musical styles despite having the same lyrics and overall tune.

やっぱりhideさんはこれが一番好きだな。
どちらかというとXよりLUNASEAやGLAY世代です。
自分も楽器とあとダンスをやっていたので、聴くのはロックだけじゃなかったので、正直当時はそこまで詳しい訳ではありませんでした。
昔は日本の田舎だとちょっとスカル柄の服を着たりラバーソウルを履いてるだけで、バンドマンや追っかけ認定されて毛嫌いされたんですよ。
よくhideとか好きでしょ？とかバンギャでしょとか、あとは今でも忘れられないのは平塚の神大生からV系好きだから友達いないでしょ？的な事を言われた事があります。
それファンの人達にも失礼ですよね。
