@@ketchup5949 Why not? If they go mainstream, their music gets to even more people. The more people that hear their music, the better! Going mainstream doesn't always mean selling out, that's just a common misconception.
@@duckduckgoose8049 when things go mainstream they cultivate really weird and bad fanbases (and always, ALWAYS get shit on for no reason, mostly because they're popular). i really don't want to be seen as "one of those weird h/a fans" or whatever in a year if they go mainstream

Any alternative artist who goes mainstream loses their "artistic integrity".
Their music is on UA-cam and pretty much any major music platforms. How could you get any more mainstream than that? You probably mistake mainstream for popularity/following. Huge fanbase=mainstream?

there's something truly magical about forming a personal meaning with a song, learning its true meaning, and then being able to experience it again from a new light
This is why I love Half•Alive and artists like them (like Dessa, Nick Murphy, and Young the Giant) so much!

Many things are wrong. Some I can fix or work around, some I can't. But what definitely *isn't* wrong is how much I like this song, the video, and all the work put behind.
everything you do and make, it always seems so honest and pure. you can easily feel the intent and message as you get taken into a whole new world and state of mind. I really love that about your music. it never ceases to inspire me, since you take up such important topics, make amazing choreography and write interesting stories through your beautiful music. please keep being you. you're all truly awesome

Been feeling so depressed n stressed out lately until i discovered h•a a few weeks ago, i keep listening to all of their songs on repeat errdayy goin to work just to give me hope n motivation. I kept thinking and saying last year around March/April/May 2020 that all the content and media from the before times felt so strange to not be overshadowed by this all encompassing pandemic and how all the content produced during the early days of quarantine had this looming over it which will make it weird to revisit or discover later on once this is all over. Everything of the last year has been so thoroughly impacted by Covid that there is no escaping it. That doesn't make it a negative in its own right, but it's naive to pretend the influence isn't there.

I just wanna say that the new song came exactly on a time that I'm passing through a million things in my head, so much responsabilities, so much caos in the world, so much of a bunch of things. I really love the lyrics, cause to me represents so well explanied what I'm going through.
