It was for summer 2017 I believe. It surprisingly didn't get renewed, I loved it
I don't care what anybody tries to say about the show I think it has this super-solid cast right now. Everybody has a strong suit and I don't see a weak person amongst the cast even with the four new cast members. SNL forever!
They absolutely nailed the british impression. The use of “pants” is such an accurate depiction of UK slang. I have a friend from south london and his slang words were so funny to me because they were so random. “Pants,” in this sketch just meaning rubbish/shitty. Everything from their terminology and rap style- whole skit was brilliant.

This season and the new cast members are REALLY good! I'm blown away at how fast they just blended in, it's like they are vets already. Tons of laughs!
SNL is like that; it'll be really strong for awhile then all your favorite people leave or they get new writers, and there's a rebuilding year or two. After watching the last couple episodes it kinda rejuvenated my love for the show.
The writing has been really original I'll def give it that but still think they hold way far back politically and that's what kills it for me

And when the taliban comes, the afghanistan president leaves in a helicopter with millions in dollars or gold i forgot which.

For those who don't know, in this course we read various science fiction books, articles, songs, poetry, & lectures written by African & African American authors. Shame it might never be offered as an elective in Florida though.

There's nothing wrong with Afrofuturism - that's been a thing since the 60s, and was responsible for everything from Sun Ra to Funkadelic to the invention of electro in The Bronx, house in Chicago, and techno in Detroit. Afrofuturism is simply imagining what black culture might be like in the future, i.e. black science fiction, and then creating new art based on that. What DeSantis opposes is CRT (neo-Marxism & intersectionality), not African or Black studies. It's very instructive, for example, to learn the history of leaders in post-colonial Africa, and note that many of them were either communist or fascist-style despotic dictators. But I doubt that a CRT class would tell you that.

The 1m chicken wings stolen I can't believe is actually real, it happened in my state, Illinois.
They ended up stealing over 11 thousand cases over a 2-3 year span. That’s in insane amount of wings. The best part, bone in chicken is banned by the school board in that state. So there was 0 reason to be ordering them in the first place.
