It's insane how a couple years back you were a teenager with dreams of playing professionally, and now you're actually out there doing it, amazing job Felix!
@thefedhd1580 Well, actually everybody has the chance to go pro as long as he has enough money (or his parents have). If by "pro" you mean earn a living out of it, it doesn't seem to me that Felix has won that many games...
@@mfzoom5401 Not sure about other countries, but here in Germany a lot of the richer, snobby clubs pay players to compete for them in league matches. It may not be enough to make a living, but it's a decent side hustle. Coaching can earn you a lot of money in tennis as well.
Felix you definitely improved. A couple of points/break points decided this match but you were playing toe to toe with him. You will win your first ATP point. I would say this year you will win a couple of points. 💪🔥
I've seen lots of comments about the amazing progress of your tennis but not any on the amazing progress of your YT videos. I remember watching you a year ago and the quality of the videos between now and then is just incomparable. Nice job!
@@tennisbrothers Agreed! What camera are you using to film your matches? I'm trying to capture my students match play in a similar way. Great work out there!
CONGRATS on the 1st grass court win! You were right there in the other two matches too. Love the content and watching your tennis journey. Rooting for you and keep up the great work! 🏆
Congratulations on your first grass-court win! Super happy for you! I know that's a huge mental hurdle to overcome. Keep the videos coming, and always rooting for your success, Felix!
Felix, Michael is an insane player! He played for Loughborough University and was amazing! Incredible match and many positives to take from this!! Vamosss💪
dont look at the opponets look at you what you are. Do you think nadal cared when he was a junior who his opponet were and that they were top 10 100 years ago, no he trained his ass of and his mindset was fuck who am i playing even if he is top 10 ill beat him and get the best
I am super impressed Felix Haven’t turned in for a few weeks and I feel like I saw a big improvement and really good decision making today! Keep going!!
My man, ive been watching your vids for quite some time! I was also in your shoes when I was 18-20 playing the ITF future events in Heraklion etc… My advice to you (Now that I see it from the outside), is not to idolize them for having ATP points. In all honesty they are at the same level as you, just need to believe you are there with them and that on any given day anyone is beatable. Lets continue going 😅
Exactly what my mindset is , 100% , it may seem like I am just chasing one point because of the series name , but my mindset is not "I am chasing 1 point and its this big thing" no way , it will come and many more
Great match. Your opponent played the last game really good. Good job on sticking to the match until the end first time seeing you focusing your serve games that much.
Felix, you have made amazing positive strides and constantly getting better. You're one of those players that struggles in the beginning, but later when the package is complete you'll be unstoppable. Enjoy these times (don't be frustrated, this only means that there are still things to learn before your breakout), because every period has its ending if you stick to it. :) Cheers! M
You use the word hopefully a lot when you are commentating your matches. Maybe I am digging in too deep but to me it doesn’t just reflect your mental state to me post match but it also indicates to me your state during the match. There can not be any ounce of doubt in any of your matches and points that you play. You have to play them like it’s your last point ever to be played and play like your the boss out on the court. It’s your court your match make them take it from you. Cheers 🥂
not really , I am commentating over the matches after I have played them , so most of the time I know what happens so just use those words to aide the storytelling of the match , to keep you guys on your toes in the sense that I'm not giving away what happens , trust me in the match I am locked in
Amazing work Felix! I can't wait to see you winning more tournaments in the future. I twisted my ankle last month so I sat out on some really big tourny's, but its fun watching you play in the meantime!
You were in an even match with an ATP ranked player. That means it's only a matter of time before you start beating them. Best of luck in your travels.
Love the new style of your videos. It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Don’t feel pressured to go too fast though, we still love to see the entire Matchtiebreaks :D
Overall very positive, i can see you were playing well overall. Try to improve the 1st volley when serve and volleying, especially on those big points. He was able to hit those great lobs cause your volley sat up a bit and wasn't placed as well. You allowed him to play that great game to break you in the 2nd set
great video felix! Congrats on the first grass court win, that shows how much you have improved on grass and just your overall game! keep up the great work felix!
Great matches Felix against very high calibre players! Keep improving day by day and you'll get your ATP point soon! Also, the St Georges Hill Open is back on this summer(end of July) which is also a grass court tournament. I've entered so you should play it and maybe we'd play first round🤣 But goodluck for your next tournie👍
Yes playing matches suddenly on grass after a long time with no matches played on it after a long while will surprise you with how physical it is. It isn't as demanding as clay where you are hitting more full powered shots with full extension and weight transfer, but you have to stay low the WHOLE time, especially with the "dodgy bounces" you mentioned. Thankfully the points should be shorter though.
Felix, real talk. I feel that YT has become more of a distraction than a benefit. Subconsciously, you're thinking about your own recordings and subscribers rather than your actual game, which becomes a burden. Consequently, your matches become tougher to win. Even at the end of the video, you mention the tournaments you are going to be playing in, and refer to them as "content". You need to let yourself revel in tennis and only tennis, no sponsorships or excuses cast on video will help you achieve your goals. You may see this and choose not to respond, but I strongly believe that if you stop worrying about viewer counts (at least for half a year), you will see even more progress.
God dammit, every time i check up on this channel (Once a month or so), i hope you win a match, but you keep losing 😢😢 But you've definetly improved! Keep it coming mah guy, hope to see you more on the grass courts soon!
this might seems like a dumb question, but whenever i see pros playing tennis, they all swing the racket so smoothly as if it a feather in their hand. did u do any specific exercises to play like this or is it mostly muscle or technique
what is if it is not clear if the ball is in or out? there is no referee right? Aren‘t there a lot if discussions where somebody says its out and the other one says in?
Do ur Proteins in your bag help u get energy to play & more muscle to plough through the ball or something else cause was thinking of buying Whea proteins too just to get enough muscle on the arms to hit through stronger players
It's insane how a couple years back you were a teenager with dreams of playing professionally, and now you're actually out there doing it, amazing job Felix!
@thefedhd1580tell that to all the unlucky baseballers, footballers, basketballers, or any other sport lol

@@JS_360NC At least if you make it in those sports, even at a low-tier professional level, you are compensated far better than in tennis.

Great job! One feedback on the video is the match score is white on lime green which makes it hard to see.
