I'm back and better than ever lmao sorry its been so long Life TM was happening. But I received a lovely comment earlier today that really fueled my desire to get back to making these edits so I came home and literally sat down to make this in about two hours.
This is one of my all time favorite songs to listen to when I need writing inspiration. (In fact, I wrote a story about 50% inspired by the vibes of (the original version of) this song, which if you're in the mood for a slightly spooky story, vocal.media/fiction/scared-to...)
This version of this song is fun for me because it feels like that desperation that comes from finding out that your lover is dead (or at least presumed to be) and I'm imagining looking out over the sea from the edge of a cliff as a massive storm rolls in and pours overhead. But of course, this could go one of two ways: 1) your lover isn't dead, but they're insulted to see the way you seemed to move on from them, their villain origin story, or 2) this is your reaction about needing to get revenge for whoever caused your lover's death, your villain origin story.
[I always have fun writing these little scenarios in the descriptions, I always have little stories to tell and I like sharing the nuggets with others. If you ever take and expand a story from a description I write, please let me know! That would be so cool to read!!]

- sound effects are from a myriad of locations but are all allowed to be used (mostly rain and thunder, with a windy desert track as well)
- the image I was able to trace back to Jack Moreh on StockVault
- Edit made in Audacity (layering the sound effects, changing volumes on things so it wasn't as much just a mass of sound, -10% change speed with I believe -6% additional change tempo, a couple of the effects were trimmed or had their speed/tempo messed with, and fade ins and outs to make everything mesh a little nicer)
