You can learn everything from this girl about traveling, in like 30 min. Thank you Sonia for all the tips and that beautiful smiles that brightens up everyone's day.
Thank you for your tip regarding the cubes/folded shirt carrier! This has saved so much room in my suitcase! I've learned how to consolidate from your traveling tips!
To weigh the bags just step on the scale see how much you weigh, then hold your bag and stand on the scale and see how much you weigh and then subtract from there, no need to buy something for measuring the weight of luggage.
The cube idea is great! I've been using Ziplock bags as well. By the way, I also bring a power strip with me. There are never enough outlet for all devices.
The clothing cube idea is a great one! I don't have the nice mesh ones like you do, but on my last trip I used some large ziploc bags to hold many of my non-wrinkle-ables and it worked great! Also, that little dog by the suitcases is so adorable! :3
increible tu vlog! me suscribi! pense que era el único en la tierra obsesionado con el orden y con las botellitas , también me hice de esas que muestras en el video, son super padres =)
Find airlines that allow you to check in two pieces of luggage. Norwegian and some flights of Virgin Atlantic let you check in 2 suitcases. Hope this helps :)
You should do a video about airport savvy! I really love your travel tips and would like to know what your experiences are. Do you have any tips for security and just getting through general airport complications?
TSA: Ain't nobody got time for that! My tips: * Light Carry-On * Wear sweatpants, Shoes that can easily be slipped on & off, if you're cold, bring a hooded sweatshirt w/ zipper. * get light-weight computers & tablets (Macbook Air, iPads Mini, 2, & Air, & Surface Pro, etc), make sure they have a good charge. * Go light on jewelery, Minimum: Watch (either solar or self-wind), small necklace, and/or wedding ring if married.
I love your videos so much!!! But it would be helpful if you could put product info and purchase links of the stuff that you show. Thanks again for your wonderful tips :)
TSA employees in the States made merry with some of my possessions RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Extra chips for my digital camera, gone, sleight of hand. I found traveling to and from the US so horrible in 2010 I won't go home anymore. It's not like that between countries in Europe! I could go on and on but will STOP and say very good channel and these are good tips. Travel light also because you could have space to take some purchases away! Yay!
Sonia, I always weigh myself then hold onto the luggage and weigh us together...then simply subtract hehe. For those liquids...I always keep my samples and hotel mini size bottles for the next trips, I have never taken those liquids out in a ziplock. Yet, after traveling to Asia Europe Latin America, I have yet to be "caught":) keep up with the interesting vlogs!
I going to live in Germany for a year, and I will spend the winter there... how can I pack the jackets in my suitcase, I mean, Do you know any way to pack them without wasting space. Thanks Sonia! Saludos desde España!
Any tips on overnight stopovers where you can't pick up your checked in baggage? Also, just buy a colourful suitcase so it's easy to identify. There are tons of them around now.
^_^ Thanks for the tips Sonia ^_^ Most of these things I already do, esp being a college student with tons to move, but it all works out in the end ^_^
My suitcase is this hideous green color with a granny floral print. Completely recognizable and it's vintage so unlikely anyone else will have the same thing!
They are called Humangear Gotoob bottles, they are made of silicone unlike the typical hard plastic bottles so it is a lot more convenient to squeeze out every last drop!
Sonia, really enjoying your videos since I love to travel, I wish I could do it more... bu the way... sort of a special question... I suppose you have latinamerican background cause I heard you speaking briefly in spanish in one of your vids, if you have from which country is it ??? just curious, apologize if it is too personal of a question... keep on with the cool videos...
holaa!!!so....please make a video and help me. i will go on a job for 6 months on a cruise ship...can you tell me some stuff that i cand bring with me and that will fit in suitcase?pleaseeee:D
I'm gonna go on a world trip in 4 years so i would definitely need a large suitcase for stuff i would be buying. But i wont be taking much clothes since i'm gonna buy some overseas :)
Hi everyone!! Thanks so much for the feedback... I've added links for the "packing cubes" in the description above since many of you have asked about them. I've got plenty of tips coming in the coming weeks so stay tuned...
Hey your show was on Thursdays!!! Cual prefieres maletas moldeables o de nylon or hard cases like you Darth Vader bag? And why? Doesn't that make the bag heavier? I need help, I'm traveling in three weeks. Love your tips! Go Latinas!!!!! FELICIDADES en tu well deserved award!!!
Look at the country where you're studying. Figure out what you can buy and restock there without trouble and limit those items. For example, in South Korea deodorant is super expensive& harder to find so you'd want to bring lots. You can always have more shipped later if needed. On the flip side, in the UK I can buy the same brand of shampoo and conditioner I use at home in the states so I only bring a bit. Check out physical stores online websites to see what's easy/hard to buy there.
Hey, I'm an avid traveler and I usually travel only with a hand luggage and a laptop bag. I do so to get on earlier flights if there is space so that I can explore cities that I might have a layover in. Can you give some tips for luggage bags and how to pack toiletries for hand luggage. And tips for international travel. Inbox me if you dont make a video about it. Tks
i have a very important question! :) ill be travelling to north carolina (alone for the first time) to attend a FORMAL EVENT. ill be there for a week... how should i pack for the event, with my heels and formal gown?? help Sonia! :)
please remind folks to check weather conditions at destination[s]. If you plan to layer duds, you will be prepared for the unexpected. Everyone needs an small sized umbrella and mini LED flashlight. DH & I each have a basic packing list that stays with the suitcase, that way we avoid forgetting cords for electronics, power bar for impossibly located outlets and prescription meds. Really appreciate your rating products so I stop buying stuff that doesn't live up to hype.
If you're traveling outside USA, and you are an Imperial Idiot, you're in luck! Just remember these ROUGH benchmarks: 10 centimeters = 4 inches (so scale up: 30 centimeters = 12 inches or one foot) But for distance, forget about the foot, think yards instead. because.... One meter = one yard. One Kilo-METER = 1/2 mile + 10% One Kilo-GRAM = 2 pounds + 10% (Don't get the two mixed up)
You can learn everything from this girl about traveling, in like 30 min. Thank you Sonia for all the tips and that beautiful smiles that brightens up everyone's day.

I was curious if you could give some tips for traveling internationally? Specifically at boarder crossings. Thanks, love your videos.
I'd also get a lock for your zips! Especially when going to South Africa, workers tend to have a gander at the innards of your suitcases!
Really good tips Sonia, love your videos! BTW: The dog is so cute! :)
