Hi Susan! I loved it! I’ve been to Barcelona before and Gaudi is obviously a place to see, but think overall liked Madrid better. If I had more time, would have done either a trip to Portugal via train or Mallorca via plane. Toledo is a day trip from Madrid too! It felt safe, people are friendly, shopping is great, food, museums, soo much! I would stay in Centro. There’s Hotel Regina and Four Seasons that are close to everything!
