My go to music to listen to work is the Tabernacle Choir. It sets the mood throughout my day.
I just finished giving a talk about being prepared to serve only for this song to be played afterward. I have a testimony that God listens and pays attention to us.
Congrats! This song is one of the ones that helped me the nearest and dearest on my mission. The second verse helped guide me many times to lifting up people in small and simple ways. One of my favorite memories on my mission is when I complimented someone on his hat just as he was going into a gas station.
He tipped his hat to me and I felt an overwhelming flow of the Spirit on my soul, and I felt nothing but glorious joy.
That carried me through the rest of that day, and recalling it now has brought that joy back.
The interaction took maybe a few seconds.
Yes, brother slightest actions often meet the sorest needs. I'm proud of you, brother. Serve the Lord well. He's got you all the way. :)
Oh how I needed this song! It helps my mind to focus on the joy of the Gospel instead of the stress and sadness so easily felt around me. Thank you!!
