@@JackReacts904 Well, Badfinger (the 60s band) are the original artist and then Harry Nilsson covered it and popularised it and then Mariah's mother Patricia would sing it to her as a lullaby when she was a baby in the 70s. Most people only remember Harry's or Mariah's versions now. And for a very long time 'Without You' was Mariah's biggest song internationally. She still sings it with as much passion today in concert. I wish she'd release a live album of her best performances. Mariah's a really emotionally intelligent singer, she takes you on a journey and all those things she does with her vocals and the way the track is produced and the background arrangements are all her directions. it's not just a random mishmash of pretty sounds. I hope ya'll get a chance to experience her live whenever Ms Rona calms down. It's like the difference between looking at a black and white picture of a beautiful garden and actually standing in the middle of it with your feet burrowed into the grass with a 360° view and surround sound. I've seen her twice now, in Europe and I couldn't believe how much better she sounds live than on any recording I've ever heard. It'a crazy!

Hello World Mariah did this at the end of the show, so no one witnessed it. Even if she didn’t do it live infront of people, it doesn’t necessarily mean it was lipped. The audio is very different to the one in the studio, and not to mention she’s terrible at lipping. Every real lamb knows there’s controversy and arguments about whether or not she lipped this performance. The audio was different, and it matched her lips perfectly which caused confusion since it’s obvious when she lips since she’s not good at it. And I’m annoyed asf at this point. First you say this performance is obviously lipped and then say that the one in Tokyo Dome isn’t fully live when it’s actually just dubbed for better quality. Where’s the evidence you idiot? Still remember when I was a kid listen and watch Mariah for the first time ever and she was singing that song....i thought myself this is the most beautiful woman with the most powerful voice! Just love at first sight! 😍
True... I remember when I was also a kid when I've only known Mariah for songs like My all, butterfly and some newer ones from charmbracelet album like "Through the rain" that time back in philippines. Then one evening, I was in a rental vhs store and this song played and I was really in awe hearing those vocals but I couldn't recognize Mariah's voice in it because the vocals sound mature and deep like I was like "Who is she????". I couldn't even stay focus choosing what vhs to rent because I was astounded by her vocals and was so into the song that moment.... It took me many months or maybe like years to figure out that it was Mariah Carey and that made me love her even much... Then the folowing years, my admiration for her became much more rock solid when I was in karaoke house(which we have many in my country) and I saw her "one sweet day" music video and I was mesmerize by her angelic beauty and voice like: "Ohh so this is Mariah Carey, wow she's an angel", the high voice and everything... Can't forget those memories.. 😂😅
