As a fellow carb addict, I absolutely understand. It is unbelievably addicting. And I have friends who tell me, "Do your diet, but you need to have a cheat day every week or so." That's like telling an alcoholic to drink alcohol a few times a month. It's just not going to work.

Sugar and Carbs are very addicted. I used to be on Percocet for my chronic pain. Three years ago I decided to stop my Percocet. I never went thru withdrawals. When I stopped eating the sugars and Carbs would you believe I had cravings for sugar, and also went thur some withdrawals. So I know that I am addicted to Sugar, but not the opoiates.

I did strict Carnivore about 7 months ago. Ribeyes, Salt, Water, and butter, for 3 weeks. I lost 18 lbs, and my gut issues of over 20 YEARS (Massive bloating no matter what I ate, rock-hard stomach) were totally gone. Sciatic back pain of over 10 years, GONE. Every ache and pain, GONE. I play ice hockey twice a week and I'm 52, and my stamina was unreal, often coming home and working out after, then going hiking the same day. I too, felt superhuman. Everyone noticed, strangers in stores would tell me I was literally glowing. I learned I'm like you though, and your sugar / cocaine analogy is perfect and I never looked at it like that. It's my last addiction. I don't drink, no drugs, no porn, nothing. I started "testing" foods here and there. First cheese, then other things, then finally pizza. And I digested it well for the first time in decades, for about 3.5 weeks. Then it ALL came tumbling back down. Doc wants me to take a statin, I told him I'll see you in 12 weeks and we'll discuss it. Tomorrow, I start again. My success video will come shortly after that, this time going the distance and not stopping.

Today May 19, 2023 is day 49 for me of non dairy carnivore. I have been carnivore for 11 months but I still struggled with joint pain. I gave up dairy beginning April 1, 2023. NEVER did I ever think eating rumanant meat, eggs, pork belly, bacon, butter, water and Keto Chow Daily Minerals would clear up the last of my issues. I also would not take a million dollars for the terrible joint pain I used to suffer. My lifetime allergies are completely gone. I am off ALL MEDS, except my Armour thyroid, which has been reduced by 50%. I actually can sleep at night without my sinuses plugging up. I can actually go into my friends house, she has FOUR in house cats , and I can actually visit without having an enormous allergy and asthma attack. My ENTIRE LIFE I have suffered. Pills and pills for decades. I was turned onto the carnivore diet by Dr. Berry and Dr. Baker. I was desperate when I started the keto diet Dec 29, 2021. I don't think I could have gone on much longer. I had had Covid 6 times, developed breast cancer, diabetes, ( its a myth that you have to be obese to be diabetic) non alcoholic fatty liver, hemorrhagic bladder infections, IBS, ulceritis colitis, grinding depression, high anxiety, chronic sinus and lung infections, lack of wound healing, enlarged heart, high blood pressure, gum disease, cataracts, fibroid in the uterus, liver tumors, gallstones, kidney stones, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, eye tumors, constipation, massive allergies, asthma, migraines and psoriasis. Now it's all gone
Dr. Palmer of Harvard has now been championing the Keto and carnivore diets fir the miraculous healing of the severely mentally ill. God bless all these people for standing up. Dr. Lustig, Dr Mason, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Thomas Seyfried etc.

I wish I'd known about CARNIVORE 25 YEARS AGO!!
My twin sister told her Dr. that her 30lbs. weight loss so far was because she's been eating CARNIVORE.
The Dr. and the stupid nurse told her she needs vegetables and fruit; she told them she's a diabetic, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE EAT THOSE THEY TURN STRAIGHT TO SUGAR, and she's a diabetic. They both just looked at her and said NOTHING. LIKE A LIGHT BULB JUST WENT OFF, THEY'D NEVER CONSIDERED THIS

    • @signalfire6691
      @signalfire6691 Рік тому

@@DiAllinson It's almost such that they are TRYING to poison us. Maybe the global economy can't support 8 billion people and the only way to feed everyone is with garbage. I know if everyone switched to carnivore or even keto today, by tomorrow there wouldn't be any animals left. Another year or two and the oceans would be picked clean. In Japan, with their oceanside location and massive populations, eat things (squid, octopus, kelp, eels) that I wouldn't touch unless I was starving. And remember the 'bat soup' thing during Covid in China? Yeegawds. To answer your point about the pharm industry and diabetics, they need to take control and research for themselves. Diabetics are often singularly oblivious. I lived next door to an about 50 year old morbidly obese diabetic who developed an ulcer (done to the bone) on her toe. Last time I saw her, she was pissed because she couldn't 'go in the public pool' with an open wound. She died several months later of sepsis. Never figured out her problem - it was beyond her ability.

What your sister doesn’t understand is fruit sugar is digested like raw sugar & processed sugars founds in sweets, cakes & processed crap. Fruit is full of fiber so the fiber slows insulin response. No one becomes diabetic from eating just fruit. Your sister became diabetic from eating junk & now she avoids healthy fruits because her body can process sugar properly. There’s no nutrients in meat outside of what the animals eat so crap in crap out. If you’re eating the crappy meat found in stores you’re not getting nutrients. Eat grass fed organic meat. Then there’s cardiovascular concerns & cancer, both of which are connected to meat eating. There’s good carbs & bad carbs. We get ill not from eating good carbs like veggies & fruits. We get i’ll from eating pasta, rice, breads, grits, sweets etc. Then we cut out all carbs in a panic. You’ll get these same benefits from a zero meat raw food diet & for a longer duration. We are bioluminescent beings, we need plants & fruits, foods that are produced with photosynthesis, meat is no such food.

I am now strict carnivore or lion diet except I am eating some sea foods and egg yolks only, coffee with very little heavy cream. I healed auto immune issues, menopause symptoms are gone. anxiety 80% better. It's been almost 16 months and I will never ever change this way of eating. I also noticed I would never tan outside before, now I do not burn and my color is so nice. no more sunscreens that are loaded with bad ingredients for us. Sun is good for us! I started Carnivore back on 2/15/23 and so far I've gone from 556 lbs to 495 lbs. I transitioned from standard American diet cold turkey. Doc says my blood pressure is high and started me on some meds for it and its down to 131/86 from 160/96 or so. i feel amazing and my focus is much better as well. Working third shift I tend to drink some energy drinks from time to time but overall my energy is way better. Achiness is gone and strength have come back considerably as well. I don't cook much so I usually grab a couple baconators without buns or toppings besides cheese or some eggs and bacon. Bob evans has family sized eggs and bacon you can get for easy meal as well. Also salami and cream cheese are really good as well as a snack. Once I'm able to cook I want to meal prep more though.

I have been doing Keto for 2 years and started carnivore on March 17th 2023. I am feeling absolutely amazing. Joint pains are gone, and I no longer need to go to the chiropractor. Indigestion is gone as well. I started doing press-ups, and in the first week, I did 35 per day, which was 5 more than I usually do. I have steadily increased the number every day and did 70 a few days ago! I can't believe it!
What I added was boron, which was suggested by one of the many doctors I follow on UA-cam. That took it to another level. I am 67 years young and will never eat vegetables again. No carbs, absolutely no carbs. I have not put sugar in my coffee or tea for at least 40 years.
Another effect of this diet is that the plaque on my teeth has completely gone. After about a week, I could feel it coming off, a very strange sensation. Additionally, I no longer have bleeding gums. I only take thyroxine for my underactive thyroid. I hope to get off of it over the next year on this diet

For a family of 4 in New England we spend a ridiculous amount of money on food. To start including steaks would be even more costly. But how much is our health worth? My wife and I are in our early 60's and the kids are young adults in college. My next challenge is to convert them to carnivore and stop buying all the other crap. I'd rather pay for meat.

You don’t have to “include” meat…
      Carnivores don’t buy
      breads,
      chips,
      cereals,
      veggies,
      Salad dressings and condiments
      sodas,
      snacks,
      Desserts
      etc.
That leaves plenty of $$ for an excellent food budget.
      Bonus:
on carnivore, save $$ by not spending on…
      Allergy pills
      Ibuprofen and aspirin
      Antacids
      Antidepressants
      Cavities and gum surgery
Hand and body lotion (the fat from carnivore foods keeps my skin soft and moist)
      Blood pressure pills
      Type two medicines and supplies
Vitamins (but I do still take iodine, vitamin D, magnesium, and potassium)
      Chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, etc.
      I eat mostly
      Ground beef
      Eggs
      Cream
      Fish
      Chicken
      Sardines, tuna and anchovies
      Sparkling water
      Coffee
My splurges every few weeks are Brussels sprouts , beets, and pickles because those are foods from my childhood that I can have at family gatherings.

You'll find that after a couple of weeks your taste in food changes. I was a total crisp/potato chip addict. The first time I did keto, after a fortnight or so I lost all notion of eating crisps and got more satisfaction from butter. I've been carnivore for three weeks now and previously loved my veggies. I'm now finding the thought of eating veggies a bit of a turn off. If I do eat them it's small quantities of sauerkraut, sun dried tomatoes in oil or herbs just for some extra added flavour on the big fat juicy steak. Even lettuce is becomming a struggle to eat lol. It's weird how the body/brain works. If you can stomach it past the first two weeks, you'll never look back!

She is already so thin and is getting acne. Her mom’s health is doing terribly as well but they don’t want our input or link any of their issues to their diets. My husband and I have been carnivore for 465 days now and they think we’re nuts. We are 68 and 74 and are getting younger daily. By the way, my husband just had his second knee replacement. The first one, 5 years ago, was a nightmare. But this one is healing incredibly fast. His physiotherapist remarked, at three weeks, that he was doing better than 30 year olds are at six weeks. Even his scar is completely disappearing. Thank you so much for your tremendously inspiring videos. I am sharing them with all our other carnivore friends and friends who are carnivore curious. I’m going to post it on my Facebook page too. One question… what is your name? I couldn’t find it anywhere on your site.

Great video! Doing keto and eliminating all sugars, processed foods, vegetable seed oil etc I’ve lost 125 lbs in a short amount of time and maintained it. The health benefits are amazing however I recently went carnivore and the hits keep coming. You’re right on cost. I can eat one meal a day with very little planning or effort at a fraction of the cost prior. I went to the store earlier and saw a bag of Doritos for $5.99! In the past I would eat that while watching a movie and that would be in addition to everything else I had in the day. For that price a pound of ground round with eggs and seasoning filled me for the entire day. Your video is very inspirational.

So I’m simply an added expense as now I need so.much.meat.cheese.AND BUTTER (stick a day).
No savings, I eat less than anyone in amount of food. Yet my cost is highest. We have been eating cheapest way I can figure out good nutrition for decades.
I’m going to go just butter for awhile, butter fast. I do buy grassfed as that is my reward for all the effort I’m putting into this. So that’s $3 a day ($12#). Maybe I’ll see a change in our budget (I buy WM butter at $4# now). I rly want to afford grassfed meat but that’s impossible. I can’t find local quality eggs or I would buy them for us all as we eat tons of eggs.
It’s so disconcerting how expensive meat butter n eggs are. Even just CAFO crud.

HomeSteadHow hello from the UK🇬🇧 👍🏻
My Journey to this excellent video is similar to yours, I'm 56 with a physical job and I've been eating what you guys over the pond call Junk food most of my life.
I have had pretty much all the symptoms you've had (plus a few more!).
But I instinctively knew it was to do with my diet though, the frustration though of trying to figure out what is the right path to go down was quite mind numbing to say the least.
The internet is full of scientist, doctors, nutritionists and quacks who all seem to claim with full conviction that they know beyond any doubt that what they are saying is right, it's no wonder we now have globally epidemics in - Obesity, type 2 diabetes, depression/anxiety, teenage suicide, autoimmune (the list is endless!).
So I'm just glad I went against the governments, doctors, scientist, food industry and medical industry,
Because it's there advice that's got us in this mess in the first place! ie... Eat 6 portions of carbs every day, eat plenty of fruit and fibre, cola is probably fine once or twice a day, eat little and often, don't ever eat fat it's going to clog up your arteries and give you a heart attack, don't ever ever eat red meat you will die within a few years just because we've been eating it for millions of years doesn't mean to say it's good for us!, butter is so bad for you margarine is way healthier, trans fats are probably ok, as is all the other synthetic ingredients that we put in your food 😜
I'm carnivore now and feeling better than I have for 35 years.
If it was a toss up between 20 years of life on carnivore or 40 years on junk food I'd pick carnivore every time.🙂

You are within a day or 2 of me starting this. My benefits; I lost 12 pounds but before starting Carnivore I did intermittent and whole day fasts and from fasting I lost 30 pounds. Started at 215 until now I'm a little under 170. I've been lifting weights 5 days a week for almost 2 years but joint pain ended my lifting back in August. I did all of this NOT TO LOSE WEIGHT but to get rid of joint pain and inflammation in both my shoulders, my right knee, left big toe and it popped every step, and pain in my left elbow. After 2 weeks of carnivore I got back in the gym and started lifting after being inflamed and not exercising for 9 months. I couldn't sleep at night because of shoulder pain. The awesome thing is I lost a little strength but not much at all surprisingly. I can sleep better and have vivid dreams and I've never experienced that before. My blood pressure went from 155/100 to 100/69. I knew before hand that carnivore or keto would get rid of my pains because I did Keto in 2013 and lost 50 pounds. I knew it would bring my blood pressure down because I've gone low carb at least and watched it drop. I've been doing cutting diets like body builders do, off and on for about 30 years. Even as a young kid in Jr. High I knew what carbs protein and fats were and how to manipulate it to lose or gain. I learned all of this in Muscle and Fitness magazine 30 years ago! This all should be common knowledge.

(Slight charge to grind it but it melts a LOT easier) Every few months, I take out a bag of beef fat and put it in a covered pot on stovetop, med low heat, and it melts into an oil. Then thru a stainer w/paper towel insert and into mason jars. (Here in the south they call it "rendering" beef fat to make "beef tallow". I'm on day 14 of my 30-day carnivore challenge. So far I feel great. I have regained energy I haven't had in years. If you would've told me a month ago that eating only meat, bacon and eggs would make me feel this well I would've laughed in your face. The SAD brainwashing is breakable. I'm able to walk more than 1/2 a mile without my feet going completely numb now. I've lost all the aches and pains I've had in my legs for over three years. Just standing up from the couch or exiting my car was awful and painful. I'm about to put a 3 1/2" lift kit on my Jeep with 35" tires and I feel like it won't be an issue to get in and out of it now. I haven't stopped snoring yet unfortunately; my wife kicked me out of our room the other night cause I was really sawing a log. I don't know if the apnea is better, so I'm continuing to use the bi-pap the VA gave me. Climbing up and down the stairs of my house was exhausting, no more. I occasionally have a little brain fog still but my mind is working so much more clearer now. I took my 6-year-old to the park and actually pushed her on the swing instead of sitting on a bench and playing on my phone the whole time. I have noticed the lack of plaque buildup on my teeth recently like you mentioned. I have a more serious issue where my gums have been problematic for a few years and now I have a couple loose molars in back and I desperately don't what to lose them as they are the largest teeth in my head and how the hell will I chew a nice juicy ribeye without them? Before I started this challenge a thought occurred in my mind, if I'm 50 years old now, how in the hell am I going to be able to get around when I'm 60? So, I watched some Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Matt Baker videos to see if this carnivore thing was worth a try. I absolutely love food. I love to cook. My family loves and is highly dependent on my cooking abilities. This diet has actually been a lot easier for me than I thought it would be. My wife sits off in the background watching me, I'm pretty sure she's waiting for me to fail at this. But here's what I know. I ran the popcorn concession during my RV park's movie under the stars activity last weekend. I made 15 batches of popcorn and not once was I tempted to even taste my labors. I absolutely love popcorn. I must've been doing a good job because no one was complaining about the taste of the popcorn. So will I fail at this? No. I'm very resolved. Yesterday my wife wanted food from the local food truck, instead of ordering there too, I decided on a double quarter pounder with cheese no bun, no condiments from McDonald's (I should have opted for the bacon too) It was delicious, I could've eaten two of them, but I found it so easy to stay on target. I'm never hungry it seems, it's very similar to when I was on a 20-hour fasting regimen for almost a year, I was almost never hungry during the fasting cycle but I recently changed shifts at work and the fasting became extremely hard to do on the new shift as I am home with my kids during the day now and the temptation was too strong to eat when they did. So I'm gonna go all the way to 30 days. On June 5th I'm gonna re-evaluate my situation and see how I'm feeling. If I'm all good it's on to 60 days and so on...

@@Homesteadhow I suppose I would need to see a doctor to check electrolytes and magnesium and my Dr. is 150 miles away at the nearest VA and it takes 5 months to get an appointment. What do you do to keep your electrolytes and magnesium in check? All I know is I have never felt this good in years. My lack of a gall bladder seems to be a small issue, another comment suggested taking bile salts to help with that issue.
I was actually scoping your movie theater website the other day. I've always wanted to run a movie theater. I ran a mobile DJ service for 10 years before my army time in '97. When I got out I got back into it as a hobby and designed a way to bring movies out on the road. My full time job keeps me at bay from actually trying to book gigs unfortunately. Yours was the first channel I found talking about carnivore, and it got me interested. I went down the rabbit hole and as a result, I'm now 30 days into carnivore, and I actually still can't believe how much better I feel and how much my health has already improved. I still have a few drinks a week, and even with that, I've lost 25 lbs, my lymphedema is 80% reduced, and my sleep apnea is also nearly gone. I went from being lethargic and spending my days and evenings wiped out to having a hard time sitting down and stopping. I understand the feeling of having energy again and WANTING to be in motion! It's so much better that I wouldn't believe it if I didn't experience it myself.
I was afraid that all the health improvements people talk about were way overblown or even made up, but now that it has happened to me personally, I'm a believer that the plants and oils and other junk we eat here are not good for us, or at least for some of us. I'm finding that I'm also turning into an evangelist, since everyone thinks I'm on Ozempic, and I get to introduce them to carnivore. They don't believe me until they see me tear into a steak and skip everything else :D

When the 500+ functions the liver has in the body start to normalise by eliminating foods that strain it, kidney function also improves. When the liver and kidneys are at optimal health everything else will correct.

Thank you so much for your videos. You really are helping other people, including me! I've watched a ton of videos on carnivore and I'm always learning more and more about it.
It's taken me several years to really get serious about eating this way, but I'm determined to keep at it and to be successful, no matter how hard it seems. I started again with carnivore at least a year ago, but I've fallen off the meat wagon, so to speak, several times. My older brother introduced me to carnivore. When my younger brother decided for the first time to try carnivore back in December, I decided to start being more serious about it. I've messed up several times since then, but I always pick myself back up and move forward from wherever I landed. About two weeks ago, I messed up probably the worst that I have since December. For two days in a row, I ate recklessly. The day after that, I was extremely fatigued, more than my normal tired. I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in my 30's, but I've struggled with fatigue since I was 18. I also was diagnosed with fibromyalgia later on after my CFS diagnosis. I am very familiar with tired. This level of fatigue shocked me. It lasted for over a week. As I said earlier, today I've felt more alive for the first time since I cheated those two days in a row. About a week ago, I decided to change HOW I was doing carnivore. I stopped eating eggs and chicken, cut out the Stevia I was sweetening the occasional cup of hot tea with, and decided to give ruminant meat ONLY a try. I've had only beef and lamb every day, except for one day a couple days ago when I decided to try some bone broth that was made with beef, lamb and chicken. I feel that I should stick with only ruminant bone broth after trying that. I have had cheese only occasionally and don't seem to miss it. Same with sour cream and yogurt. I've decided to only use those very rarely, if at all, and only as condiments if I do use them, but I believe I will avoid them for the most part right now. I seem to be doing my best so far on just beef (and sometimes lamb), butter, salt, and water, as well as my coffee with heavy cream. Oh, I also discontinued my immune system regulating medication a few days ago, and find that I'm starting to sleep better at night. I can't wait to be off my CPAP machine!
I've been losing the same 10-15 pounds over and over again for the past year, but I've noticed when I stick to carnivore that I do feel better, and I was even able to start wearing some pants I haven't fit into for quite a few years, so I know I've lost some inches overall.
I'm going to stick to carnivore and keep watching these inspiring videos because they really do serve to motivate and encourage me, more than anything else! Thank you again for taking time out of your busy life to make the videos you've made. I look forward to watching more of them.

I’m so glad that I found your channel! I’ve been thinking about trying carnivore again, I failed the first time. I need to make sure I understand exactly how to avoid Keto flu. My symptoms flared after about 1 1/2 weeks. It was too horrible to continue. Have you heard of anyone having a flare when first starting this diet?
Your enthusiasm is contagious! You make me think I can do it. I do live with a fast food, junk food junkie, which is going to make it very difficult. At this point, I’m pretty much homebound due to chronic pain, mostly from autoimmune diseases and arthritis. I’ve heard many people say they’ve been healed from those diseases, which makes me hopeful. I’ve been sick for over 30 years, so it’s time that something works, right?!
Please have your daughter tell her story, it will help many people, I’m sure. I first heard about this strict Carnivore from Jordan and Michaela Peterson, too. I have to check out the doctors and others you’ve mentioned. I hope to start next week!
I don’t know if you’re God-fearing people, but you can tell the daughter that is so worried about animals being killed, that God gave them to us mainly for food, some as helpers, and companions, depending on the animal. They are serving their God-given purpose in life. Since this is what God willed for them, they are happy to give up their lives for our food, because they are doing God’s will. I prefer it’s done humanely, too, and I don’t want to see any animal suffer.

I have NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis - which is fatty liver disease that has caused scarring in my liver and can lead to cirrhosis), as well as migraines, a lot of leg swelling (which preceded the liver problem), insomnia, and just a lot of all-over pain. A few years ago, I did keto and intermittent fasting and managed to lose 68 pounds. It did not cure all my problems, but I felt a lot better. Like a fool, I started letting the carbs creep back in and also started using way too many artificial and alternative sweeteners. As a result, I’ve gained back about 50 pounds and feel like garbage again. My insomnia and migraines have been awful lately. I’ve been trying to get back on a keto diet, but it seems harder for me to get into ketosis now, and to stay in. Yep, the white patches in my hair at age 50 have all changed back to my natural brown hair within a month on carnivore. The benefits have been amazing!

This video is exactly what I’ve been looking for to share with any friend or relative that is beginning to notice my results and express curiosity in my current brief ketovore to soon long term/permanent carnivore lifestyle. I appreciate that your video is under 25 minutes. Thank you for all that you do to put this info out to the universe for others to find.

I totally get your excitement! It's just so awesome when you finally find a way to eat that actually works and you can stick with long term. I feel the same! Keep going. I hope your whole family will eventually get on board. Wishing you all the best! :)

4 out of 6!! It's soooo much easier at meal time too when we are all onboard..also..they are so much nicer! Funny I know. They are all amazing kids but as you could image teenager triplets plus one...been so upbeat, cheery, happy this last week or so. I stand by my statement..carnivores are just nicer people. Every carnivire I've met has been a total sweetheart, nice, happy love to be around
