"He was drunk with power, you see? He had gained the ability to create life! Anything he drew with that cursed stick would spring into creation upon that very surface. Such an amazing gift! But he abused it. He tortured those creations. And one day he paid for it. A door was drawn, and they all came spilling through. Rumors have it, they're still lurking about even today. How do I know all this? " He must've been a writer.
I mean, he's describes in his own story as "Ever heard the phrase jack of all trades, ace of none? I'm convinced it was about him" so he probably is lmao
People comparing this story to “Bendy and the Ink Machine” while I’m over here thinking of “Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings” with the theme song perfectly explaining his situation: “And you know my name is Simon, and the things I draw come true...." The entire opening theme is just so creepy if you think about it: Singer: “Well you know my name is Simon / And the things I draw come true / Oh the pictures take me, take me over / Climb the ladder with you / Well you know my name is Simon / And the things I draw come true / Oh the pictures take me, take me over...” (From 1976)
I love the vibe of this song. The chorus has a lot of movement, especially when you both blend together. In my opinion it successfully portrayed the emotion in the original story, which I can truly appreciate. That alone had reminded me of the Marble Hornets song you released some time ago. Keep up the good work!
Somewhere in the hospital, Madame's song is being born. The woman paces in the waiting room when the doctor comes in. She looks up. "Well?" She asks. "Congratulations, Ms. Macabre. It's a bop."
I've NEVER clicked a notification this quickly and this song is amazing I LOVE The Art of Jacob Emory it's my favorite story ever and I love your narration so much sometime I listen to it over and over again on repeat keep up the great work cause your voice is soooooooo amazing.
I really do like how the cryptids aren't just some random beast that kills people because creepy, but because for their entire existence they've been manipulated and tortured by this one guy who wanted to feel big. Its so much more frightening when the cryptid has a reason to be angry, because it means that the horror could have been prevented.
I just recently watched and fell in love with 'The Art of Jacob Emory' and this song compliments that story very much. You and Murphy did amazingly on this one! The emotion is clear, the beat is incredible and the vocals are great and catchy. This will be stuck in my head for days. This is beautiful.
Oh yes, this will make for a fine addition to my collection. All of your songs, no matter how little I know about what they're about, are awesome, and always manage to draw (eheh, draw) me in the stories they are inspired by. I am, admittedly, not a great fan of creepypasta anymore, but these songs? They're amazing on a level that trascends my knowledge or lack thereof. The unmistakable style, that beautiful voice (by the way, you've become so much better at singing!) and the chilling tune and lyrics. I'd recognize one of your songs among thousands. BECAUSE THEY'RE SO GOOD!
Well I don't know who Jacob Emory is but I'll be looking up now thanks to this amazing song! Sorry mate but due to that subscriber box, you're going to be stuck with me for awhile.
From all creepy pastas this one is the only one that can cause chills on you,it is absolutly describing the reallity and how humans have the power to create their own hell if they miss-use it.
Madame, you are my favorite UA-camr, please never change anything about you. Your music inspires me to be myself, even if people judge me for being creepy. Your music touches me, and your voice is so beautiful! If I could sing even half as good as you can I'd be so grateful!
I loved it when you told the story but you knocked the song out of the cursed ball park. I cant wait to see what song you do next. Maybe the stone doors, the empty cribs, or twisted teddy.
Amazing song to an amazing story, as always. Also, am I the only one who by this story feels kind of reminded of "Bendy and the ink machine"? I mean, it is kind of similar, isn't it? Drawn beings that came to life and turned on their creator because he did them wrong.
This song is very beautiful! Well done as usual, Madame! I've never read 'The Art of Jacob Emory', but I got some very strong 'Bendy and the Ink Machine' vibes from this. I suppose that it's because they both have a very similar premise.
Madame I have to admit, the quality of your songs are so amazing it's actually impossible for me to pick out a favorite! Which honestly is a great thing!
I love this song so much. Everything about it is amazing. The story, the melody, the words, the perspective, and both your voices fit the song perfectly.
Oof. I'd so behind on Creepypasts these days. I love your new songs and its cool to get an idea of it through song. This is the best one i've heard in a long time.
I find that when I'm really feeling inspired, I can compose the instrumentals in just a few days. But getting everything else into motion is what stops me up haha
Thank you Madame Macabre and Murphy for creating this! I have been in love with this song and I even memorized it! And good thing to! I had an audition this week and they asked me to tell a short tale, and I went on to tell the Tale of Mr. Emory (the short story Murphy says in this) and they absolutely loved it! I got the role because of that! Thank you guys for spreading this creepy joy! I love it so much and cannot wait to see what else you come up with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love "The Art of Jacob Emory", it's a really great story. And this song is just as good if not better, it gave me chills! Both of you did an amazing job with it, I can't stop listening to it~!
This might be my most favorite song you’ve ever done! I always have to play this whenever I get into that spooky feeling! Or ya know, just listen to it on my way to work lol
Wow, why have been putting off listening to this? The art of Jacob Emory is by far in my top five creepypastas, and I feel like this song does it justice. Good job.
I played this on two tabs at the same time just a half second behind each other and it sounds amazing... almost haunting. (not that they don't sound amazing already)
I'll admit, I never been much of a horror fan. Sometimes, what happens is too obvious. Sometimes, it's really FREAKING SCARY- uh, ahem. But I enjoy your music a lot. I may not listen to it often as much as my favorites, but it's something that is still worth my time. Your voice with the tone you're looking for- to me, that's just amazing! And you're so confident in sharing your music around. Admirable! I would love to see more of your work. It doesn't mean to work harder than ever- I just look forward to seeing more of your music. Now to find out where this story came from because I am not familiar with Creepy Pastas at all...
Omg, I love thissss! For some reason this reminds me of the Salem Witch Trials that we're studying in class. IDK why... Wait..... Omg! Madame should do a Salem Witch Trials song!!!

funny little detail, having read the story, that part is probably from the perspective of the fake Emory or another of his creations.

The irony that I found this a day after I finished writing a book about my drawings coming to life... *incredible*

The art of Jacob Emory amazing story and now this incredible song! I love your music and story telling skills!
I love how this story is in the view of his drawings
At the start, I got a bit of 'I Heard' song.
Who else did?
i did too
Mckenzie Murdoch if you listen to the piano, I heard a bit of the pianist
Alex Torch Yeah, I kind of heard it too.
I got a mix of 'I Heard,' 'The Pianist,' and a hint of 'My Prey.' Anyone else get any 'My Prey' vibes?
Critadel same here
This is amazing it totally makes the story of the art of Jacob Emory come to life in song I love it!!!
