I have another phone xperia x performance, I kind of leave my phone until battery drain to self shutdown, when I try to recharge, the red light illuminate for 5 secs only, now I cant charge and switch on this phone, please advise if I should change to a new battery? Thanks..
Why all this extra disassembly? I removed the battery without disassembling the rest, in a few minutes. You just have to be careful. My Xperia x F5121 has gained a new life
I would replace the charging port at the same time . If the battery has come to the end of its life, i am certain the connector will not be far behind.!
Tbh ive had this phone since 2017 and honestly its been shit the entire time, the only good thing i say about it is the fact its physically strong, aside from many scratches that arent even visible the phone has no damages and i havent used a screen protector or a case since the first month i got it

No it can't, I'd test them, the battery flex cable of these two phones were different, if you did that it may burn the motherboard
