I’m from Mexico and I loved how you incorporated Mexican food in these lunches ❤️ You can try putting some lemon and salt to your Jicama, it will taste better. Something we do is mixing up some Jicama and cucumber with lemon and salt ( we normally add chili powder as well) You should try to do it too!! 😄 love your videos!! 💖

Mr Penguin not really lol, kids in highschool & middle school would bring their own food & no one got bullied for that. Its just food, older kids tend to focus on other things such as looks & what kids own like clothes, phones, ect. No one focuses on what food you bring or dont bring

Oh my! These are beautiful. I am a single mom of 4 and this seems like lots and lots of work. My daughter is gluten free and I am desperate for lunch ideas. The "preheated thermos " looks like something I can actually use for her. But these lunches are something that have sparked something inside me.

You can do it! My kids are 7, 5, and 3, and we have another one on the way.
My 7YO packs her cold part every evening after dinner but before bath time. She even helps do the 5YO’s lunch twice a week.
The prepped thermos and hot food has to be done in the a.m., but everything else can be done the night before!!!

I am Mexican and the best way to eat jicama is to put lime juice and a little bit of salt. Makes it taste amazing and I don't personally like it without the line and salt.

thekids nextdoor My daughter is 7 and packs her own lunch after dinner the night before. It may be just a phase, but considering she has 2 younger siblings and one coming in May, she knows it’s a favor for Mom to do it herself. She even helps her 5YO bro pack his lunch for preschool twice a week.
Just try it. Getting it done before bedtime is really efficient. I mean, you can’t do the thermos part until the morning (and I do that anyway because of the thermos prep with hot hot water), but it’s great to step up and fix your own lunch. 👍🏼
