Sixth Maine Battery fires a 10 pounder Parrott rifle

The 6th Maine Battery brought a 10-pounder Parrott rifle and participated in the Civil War Weekend held July 22-23, 2023 at Fort Knox State Park in Prospect, Maine. Each day the 6th Maine gunners demonstrated loading and firing the cannon for people attending the popular living history event. Be sure to listen to the “return fire” after the gunners shoot!
