Was delighted to hear you mentioned on Lex Friedman's podcast with Magnus this evening. Hope you get a chance to watch it if you haven't already. Cheers!
Hey John! I like watching your streams as your personality seems kind and easygoing. I both love and hate chess myself (at the moment) since I flip out on some occasions when my brain suddenly stops working and my eyes don't see a mate in one. Also your videos help me with my English and you use some authentic vocabulary and natural phrases. Good luck with your career! I hope you'll get to read the comment :)
1:15:45 "So there was actually a move there: Re7. I'm sure you in the UA-cam comments, in the future, are pointing that out. Before the game is even complete, you're writing your comment." Oh, John. You know us so well.
LOL, I had literally just typed in a comment about Re7, then I decided to wait and see if he would analyze it before submitting. He surely not only did it, but also called me out in advance... :D
39:30 Actually clapped IRL, bravo! That game was like a boss fight in a video game, just non-stop pressure and then he pulled out all of the stops to try to trick you at the end. Perfect.
Hey John! It would be cool if you could occasionally overlay chat, especially after big wins. Being in there live is fun, I think it would add a lot to these videos. Thanks for another upload!
Hi, John! I hate to annoy you with the same question, I was just wondering if there is still a possibility of seeing the LTR Scandi on the pipeline :-)
That game against wild3000 was one I enjoyed a lot. Would be a nice one to frame ;). And I haven't even seen the other games yet. Thanks for regularly posting again! edit: that game against Salem-AR was sick hehe.
thanks for uploading these to UA-cam, I do enjoy chilling out and watching you play some chess and I don't do twitch, so it's really appreciated that they're on UA-cam too.
Loving these videos John - also a big fan of the end of game 2! I feel like I could always take a little bit more of your post-game chat as part of the edit; but I understand (and appreciate) the desire to make the video more streamlined.
Hey john, nice vid, I was wondering, in the first game, ne5 instead of nd2 looked very interesting to me, because there are some tricks. What are your thoughts?
Just finished the video. Congrats on 19th place. Salem was clearly just the start of the onslaught. What a difference from commonly playing behind on the clock to holding advantageous positions in during time scrambles yesterday. 🔥🔥
The ending of the second game was insane. I've never seen two pieces caged in like that. Well done!
OUTSTANDING composure in that end game against Salem. Awesome pal
Thanks, James!
That second game was insane!
Nice win against Salem! Really cool to see some calm and collected defense paying off against a stronger player.
John defeated him 2 weeks ago too probably if i am recalling correctly.
It's so good to have this back. Getting your JB fix twice a week is exponentially better than only once!
Very enjoyable. Thanks for taking the time to edit the games down so well (but without excluding extra interesting bits either).
Win or lose, such a pleasure watching you play John. Thanks for all the great content and congrats on a great performance!
Crazy how quickly you saw those tactics and the mate in the last game. Nicely done sir.
Game 9 win on time was SUBLIME. Beautiful defense, but most importantly, John used the CLOCK as a weapon.
Like everyone else, I love these TT videos and your return to YT. And this was my favorite TT performance I've watched. Love it.
nothing more entertaining than this presentation
"Hey John, this is Guys" gets me every time
That cage you set up against wild3000 was super cool
These title Tuesday vids are so impressive and inspire me. Thanks John. This content is excellent

Cheers!
So glad this is back. Been a lovely surprise to find after work these last few weeks. Thanks for coming back!
Wow, those games were great!😊
Thanks for the content, John!
Amazing game vs Salem! I cheered when you beat him.

Anyone remember when John made a no more Scandi video on April 1st?
Wow that last game my head is swimming
Let’s go!!!! Just turning it on now. I too have bad chess weeks. On the other hand, I also have good chess weeks! Best of luck :)
Cage theory strikes!
After watching the last few of these uploads, I think John needs to take up norm hunting…
MOAR STANDARD JOHN PLEEAAAASSSEE

39:30 Actually clapped IRL, bravo! That game was like a boss fight in a video game, just non-stop pressure and then he pulled out all of the stops to try to trick you at the end. Perfect.
A tradition like no other gladly revived.
Love the positivity John! Keep up the great vids! Much appreciated! Liking the beard also. 👍
Damn, the ending of game 2 was awesome. Well done!
John, will my chess skills improve if I wear flannel and drink coffee?

ƒιηѕ on fire 🔥🔥
Great effort John 👏
15:09 The position where White's pieces had only two squares was a masterpiece of positional dominance.
Good time management John, took down several high rated GM's...much better than last week!
Love the return to UA-cam and Titled Tuesday! You're playing some great games and hanging with the best of them! Very fun to watch
The "Hey john, this is guys." notification always makes me chuckle
Love the endgame of #2 with B+pawn dominating K+R. great play John!
Really pulling off that endgame technique this time, it was an awesome titled Tuesday to watch!
John “the GM grinder” Bartholomew. Nice tourney!
Thought the Gritty Defense was some new opening I’d never heard of. Mildly disappointed.
After Bortnyk two weeks ago, now a 2971 ELO....Congrats!
Insane game 9! The benoni is such a though opening to handle as white in blitz, argh
Hi, John! I hate to annoy you with the same question, I was just wondering if there is still a possibility of seeing the LTR Scandi on the pipeline :-)
Time stamps with opening names is a v good addition
Awesome! Best content on UA-cam John!
Wow! The game against Salem and the last one against JC Ibarra, What a ride! Well done John, impressive as usual.
Great to have you back playing Titled Tuesday John!
Keep 'em coming John! These are great.
Awesome Scandi games
lovely content john
Really appreciate these Titled Tuesday vids being edited to just show the games and analysis. Really sets you apart 👍
Great games! Good job keeping up the pressure especially in the last game. Giving white no time to think.
the way you trapped that rook at 15:15 was beautiful ! well played sir.
Thank you! That was a fun ending :)

Awesome format! Thanks for producing these, John! Cheers from Berlin.
Hey bro can you do a new climbing rating ladder people on chess account have been kinda more advanced at lower levels would love to see it
Beautiful game 2! Your content is always great. Thank you
Enjoy listening to your thought process! Great games.
Oh man the end of that second game was so cool
*Edit: Oh man and that Salem game keeping it together under that pressure... my heart was racing
HUGE game against Salem 🔥
Just finished the video. Congrats on 19th place. Salem was clearly just the start of the onslaught. What a difference from commonly playing behind on the clock to holding advantageous positions in during time scrambles yesterday. 🔥🔥

Ending no a high note. The last game is awesome!

Last game was wild. What a line!
Some epic games, nice one John
Nice showing!
Yay I’ve been binging old Titled Tuesdays, love a fresh upload
Great game vs. Salem, John! That was great to watch: clawing your way out of early difficulties to turn the tables...beautiful.
Wow, JB! #19 - a very good finish! And yeah, nice stuff in time scrambles, and a beautiful situation at the end of the last game.
30:00
♥️
Super strong field
Good work John
The Legend, the king of chess himself!!
So excited to watch this ...👌👌
