Anyone remember this…? S. Ross in March 2019 "I'm looking at it now to do it the way I've built every business, and build it from the ground up. I'm prepared to stay with it," "We are a young team, but there are positions we need to get better at. You're not going to go buy those positions," Ross said. "You've got to draft and build them and grow them." "I'm prepared to stay with it. You can call me on it anytime you want, [and say] 'You know what, you're abandoning your idea,'" Ross said. "I am committed."
He SHOULD be Committed!! He rebuilds with a GM /former Head of scouting who has no reason to be retained. Not one ROY in the 24 years Grier has been employed by the Dolphins.
It’s kinda funny how we take the “whoa me” approach instead of accepting the fact that this is an old often injured team. We draft damaged players, we sign glass dinosaurs in FA, and we don’t invest in quality offensive line players. Wtf do we expect?!?!
Grier's Forte injury prone players young or old, even spent top draft picks Tua, Phillips and others with no plan B, O it was cheaper for the Free Agents, is what Grier says and then act surprised when they are hurt with no answers and the coaches, but will let our top FA go, instead of trading them, he knew he wasn't going to sign them 🤔 make it make sense, every YEAR!
Nah, I blame the culture more than guys being injury prone. Look around the league, players are getting injured at a higher rate than ever before because of the lack of practice in pads, lack of reps, and off-season training rules, but McDaniel gives these guys days off, he lets them do nothing all week, and play on Sunday. That's not how you stay in football shape
The vision in which this team was built is the biggest flaw. The best teams are built through the trenches. This team is soft. Good lines travel and can function in all types of weather. We cant fire Ross, but McDaniel and Grier need to go. Hopefully this happens during the bye week. And hopefully Ross hires a tough minded coach, and a gm who understands the value of stout trench play.
How can anyone defend Chris Greer’s decisions? The list of his mistakes is so long and so egregious that he is indefensible. He has mortgaged the future of this franchise and this season is already lost. It is the owner’s responsibility to the team and to the fans to do something about this. The faster the better.
the front office poor planning these last few seasons seems to have finally caught up with us, not investing in the trenches, and all this off time through the week instead of practicing hard
I still find it funny that people feel only we have and invest in injury players. There are few players without some injury history on all teams but we only look this close at our own and so it looks more focused here... crap happens - sad for JP15 - and cost him millions
I honestly was concerned the Phillips injury history was a overlooked factor He was hurt his entire college career UCLA and had one really good season at the U, but his injury history should have been a red flag sucks for us
The take on Tyreek throwing a fit is ridiculous. I’ve seen Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Kelce do the same thing and people say look at the fight they have or look how much they care.
Just can't believe that not only can the players not stay healthy but their own team mates are injuring them. Only the Dolphins can do that. On top of everything else the team has incompetence at the highest level McDaniel and Grier.
Trade everyone and fire the gm and coach, draft a qb or two and draft a d and o line and when they develop pay them and dont trade them. Get rid of the bonehead gm who pays sging out vets and releases developed internal talent. Who foes that?
And the bad news just keeps on . There’s no way they are trading Tyreek anywhere. They have too much invested in him in $$$ and draft picks and they won’t get any of that back in a trade, so he’s more valuable as a current player
There are no consequences for failure, thats the problem. Celebrate when you are good, ignore bad behavior and play. Failure is not an option, it diesnt take talent to not make kistakes.
Real fans support the team through adversity. It's so disappointing to read all the negative comments. It's sports and this happens in the NFL. Pathetic fan base. Whining, crying and complaining. Just like the Big O.
I normally would agree with you wholeheartedly, especially when this energy was going on last season @9-3 before last season’s Titans game. The fanbase complained about a collapse that continues to this day. 🐬⬆️
You can continue to bend over and f**ked by ineptitude. But 40+ years of this trash. I still support the team but I want change. And for the first time in 40+ years, I'm cheering for the Dolphins to lose because I think it's the only way Ross will sign off on wholesale changes.
We are fans, some of us for 50+ years. Don’t lecture us for doing what fans of EVERY team do. We’ve invested time, money and blood pressure meds. We are owed explanations. For instance, why did Grier keep quiet the fact he KNEW OBJ would be placed on IR when he signed? Fans were not made aware. Hopes built, then deflated. It’s the Patriots way.. without the success.
Grier should be calling the Chiefs immediately. Miami already took the cap hit with his signing bonus. Go get a 2nd and a 4th. Holland too, get a 2nd or 3rd now before we lose him for nothing. Mostert can probably get a 5th or 6th from a rb needy contender as week since there are alot of rb injuries going on across the league. We need draft capital to infuse this roster with young, cheap talent. I suspect they'll just keep holding on to the pipe dream that this team has a chance to win and we'll just repeat this cycle of kicking the can next year. They'll prob guarantee Tua's 54 million in 2026, and we'll be eating a lot of dead cap for the next 5-6 years instead of 2 or 3 if they chose to get ahead of it now.
I do find it funny though, players like Brady, Manning, Jordan, even Marino, yell, snd throw stuff on sides. And there called Winners, leaders, Hill starts yelling on the sideline, and it’s people need to talk to him. Give me a break. I’d be pissed too, as much as he runs around in a game, and the Dolphins couldn’t figure out if they had a QB you can throw the ball if Tua does down. If he wasn’t be emotional on the side lines, everyone in the media would be saying he doesn’t care, he’s check out already. Blah, blah. And honestly who cares about him not wanting to answer or talk to the Media after the game? So obvious stupid ? Can be asked, where you frustrated, what did you say, blah, blah. What does it matter why, or what, or who at that moment in time, at least he showed some emotion. Unlike a majority of the team and even the head coach. Now I do agree about how he needs to step back with his social media crap, But I will take his behaviors any day over the Diva WR….
Tyreek troll / difficult. Yes. Real Problem. McDaniel got "play sheet vision" AKA "lack of "sideline presence" similar to a QB's "lack of pocket presence" both lead to not knowing what is going on the field in real time. Tyreek had a one on one coverage the whole game. Tyreek was open most of the game. QB totally ignored him while running in the opposite direction. Brian Baldinger video on X clearly explains problem. Missing Tua. New QB understandable. Head Coach. No excuses. Mike's weakness; play sheet vision, ignoring the field in real time; leads his difficult star to have tantrums to get his attention. He ignored that too. Total failure of communication. Supposedly, McDaniel's expertise. Drop the play sheets. Look in the mirror, Mike.
If I'm being honest. I'd much rather watch a bad team lose after giving it their all than watch a talented, overpaid team get mopped without any fight in them.
Can’t listen to this garbage anymore. Season was destroyed in week 2. Prepare for the draft. Forfeit all your games. Prep your players for next year. Force them to train. These weak ass training camps need to stop. Grind them…
Team is soft, how dod it work out out holding all vets out fir regular season. Practice hard, and you play hard. No contact and soft practices in training camp does not seem to matter. Dolphins suffer injjuires no katter what so pracctice hard. We got scammed by this team, the gm and coach. They are just terrible
Poup. You oughtta lighten up on your critique of Chop. He's played small portions of four games, and you're insinuating that if he doesn't step up during this stretch/opportunity, then he's on his way to becoming a bust. 4 games into his career!! Most pass rushers struggle to set the edge when they enter the league. Thats a fact. Its an awful lot of pressure to put on the kid, expecting him to replace Jalen Phillips right now. Come on, man.
Biggest Fins fan in Japan here.
Still watching you guys (and the team) even during these dreadful times!
Big ups! I’d love to go to Japan one day man!
🫡 Japan Miami, Dolphins fan 💯🐬
Great article by Perk calling out all of the Dolphins issues. 👏

CLEAN HOUSE
Appreciate the continued good content. I presume the beat is much more of a grind when the team is struggling. Well done Gents.

Can we fire our GM already !
Please!!!!
You know it’s bad when we get a Tom Olvadatie reference probably misspelled that but man😅
Thanks Mr Poupart & Mr Perkins!
Thanks Alain and Chris love you❤

Some of the other shows have pointed out how Tyreek has been open for TD on many occasions.
dougie do wrong
You guys are awesome. True Doplfans
you guys are my only silver lining.....
Thanks!
Thanks guys
Great show. Chop Robinson was a reach, we should’ve draft a Receiver or OLine. We left AVG go and drafted a bust
He's not a bust. He's played 4 fuckin' games. What are you, like 15 years old?
I'm numb, I feel nothing.
@@DaleSmith816 same…. Too much trauma to care….
Thanks for the content

I'm sure we'll make the Patriots look like the Chiefs.
the front office poor planning these last few seasons seems to have finally caught up with us, not investing in the trenches, and all this off time through the week instead of practicing hard
Good job, gentlemen. Not an easy gig when the team is bad news.
I'm sure there is a football player named Jordan Fuller out there who could help us. Obviously, the team could use the depth. 😉 Great show guys!
McD’s head is buried in his charts while the D is fighting their hearts out. He needs to be a head coach… instead….. he is beyond strange….
Jordan Poyer. The poisonous buffalo gift that keeps giving. Lol.
I still find it funny that people feel only we have and invest in injury players. There are few players without some injury history on all teams but we only look this close at our own and so it looks more focused here... crap happens - sad for JP15 - and cost him millions
We need Pissed off Perk to be more pissed off!!
I honestly was concerned the Phillips injury history was a overlooked factor
He was hurt his entire college career UCLA and had one really good season at the U, but his injury history should have been a red flag sucks for us
It’s quite obvious they need to just reset and blow it up. I hope they don’t drag the process and try to win 8 games.
He's combining jordan poyer and kendall fuller
And if you DID combine them, de-aged them, you’d have a great player drafted by ANOTHER team, of course.
The take on Tyreek throwing a fit is ridiculous. I’ve seen Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Kelce do the same thing and people say look at the fight they have or look how much they care.

Ross made the wrong decision. He should have retained Flores and gotten rid of Grier 🤔
And the bad news just keeps on . There’s no way they are trading Tyreek anywhere. They have too much invested in him in $$$ and draft picks and they won’t get any of that back in a trade, so he’s more valuable as a current player

And Julian Hill is still playing.
How do u only have
The season is toast. The only thing I care about now is whether they tank to get the #1 pick.
Who cares anymore? Tired of getting ripped off by Ross

It’s 40 years of ineptitude, poor drafting & roster construction & poor leadership!
You can continue to bend over and f**ked by ineptitude. But 40+ years of this trash. I still support the team but I want change. And for the first time in 40+ years, I'm cheering for the Dolphins to lose because I think it's the only way Ross will sign off on wholesale changes.

You guys hear about that story where the stadium was built? Ever since the Dolphins been playing there, they have not won anything.
Grier should be calling the Chiefs immediately. Miami already took the cap hit with his signing bonus. Go get a 2nd and a 4th. Holland too, get a 2nd or 3rd now before we lose him for nothing. We had two playoff years now let’s get the top pick draft the kid from Miami cut the fat rebuild better.
Sounds like Tyreek is pissing off Perk 😍
It’s going to take some of you awhile to realize that Tyrek is apart of the problem
I knew it last year. They shouldn't have given him all the guarantee $$. Could've cut him after this season.
wish we had those 6 draft picks back
If I'm being honest. I'd much rather watch a bad team lose after giving it their all than watch a talented, overpaid team get mopped without any fight in them.

The Patriots will embarrass the dolphins this week and our clown coach Ronald McDonald will have no counter punch as always 😢😢😢
phillips histroy of injuries
Mind farts.
If this, if that, c'mon guy's smh 😂😂😂 Wtf

1trick pony robinson bust
How? He been in the NFL for 4 weeks give me a break
He's not a bust. He's played small parts of 4 fuckin' games. What are you, like, 15 years old?
McDaniels was Exposed by Houston, in the Second half of the Lovey Smith Coach. Team.Plan
