The thing i like about special is he is consistently improving he's like the tortise in the race he improves slowly over time but he keeps improving from pure experience and discipline now he is in the finals of tournaments. it's actually very impressive and inspiring.

Exactly. I was pulling for Special, something about the guy just makes me want him to win. I love Serral too. I am constantly awestruck by how Serral plays.
I played a couple of games recently after years of not playing. And seeing Terran open with Battlecruisers makes me want to puke, and reminds me that the game is TRASH
Special is playing great lately, I hope he can stay in this form for a while and collect some big wins as well. Seeing Serral back to form makes me happy for him, I was a bit worried he maybe got burnt out from last year but seems he is back in shape now!
not comparing them as players but, to my eyes, he feels like the cleanest player since innovation during his insane run. just great decisions and great executions whenever he sees something.
Serral is just the impossible endboss, it’s like a game u fought hours, days, weeks, months and maybe even years, just to reach the end boss and feel like a absolute pro and get completely smashed

Yes, there aren't a lot of zergs in top wcs, that's because those players aren't pushing zerg to the limit. If serral would beat some players, I would say it's not a race bias balance. But when he beats ALL of them for several tournaments, don't you think it's the race that may have a contribution to his success?
If they ever make a sequel to "ENDER'S GAME", then they should cast Serral as Ender Wiggin. His strategic thought patterns mean the movie would write itself.
Crazy that someone like special, who is the kinda terran who you talk about even when the koreans enter the picture, got beaten down so badly. Those first two games weren’t particularly one-sided, but the third and fourth were just plain a slaughter.
Serral is amazing, winning is one thing, being the guy everyone studies to beat and wants to beat is another. It's getting so much harder for him. I am amazed he's still at the top. League of Legends is amazing though as a team sport you lose something in that. This dude is something else. I don't think most people understand how hard it is for Serral to have done what he's done. It's only going to get worse for him too.
Serral shows once again that he is a dominant player in the WCS, one of the only foreigners that can hang in the GSL. Is he good compared to GSL standards or is he simply good against WCS “B league” competition? I look forward to the upcoming season to see his true power. Meynard and Rotti excellent casters as always. This is an excellent game and I always enjoy watching the high level competition. #bringbackPolt

I'd love to see Serral burrowing 4-6 banes inside 2nd and/or 3rd expansions' mineral line against Terran or Protoss. Then when the transfer comes in he'll get easy detonations.
Special stood no chance and frankly got embarrassed. The closest he ever got was winning one trade and evening games. Only to get whooped in the next trade 30 seconds later. He got rocked and frankly needs to pay attention to what his opponent is doing.
It's high time Blizzard and in particular, Starcraft game developers take the long route and redesign once more the game. The Zerg is simply too strong at any point (be it early, mid or late game). Three or more units have abilities that can counter just about anything. I am a Terran player myself and I gave the nod when they balanced the game by nerfing the "reaper" unit after Byun's grand finals win back in 2016. However, the same can't be said with Zerg units once Legacy of the Void came out. There are no more balancing done.
Special.......work on your attacks and repair your units if they are near CC. Fall back straight. Dont be losing your special units while falling back.
Man Serral is amazing, but is Zerg a little imbalanced in the current meta? They made several notes about how the resource damage was pretty even but it felt like Zerg was never behind. And it seems that Zerg is winning everything right now.
@@nolanrobertson9479 one commander playing a normal starcraft game allow to buy drop in with control over powers they have. Drop ins play as heroes in a top down fashion as they would in Dora. Maybe give them powers based on commanders preference allow commander to give or take rights. Maybe even allow to remove hero if is not working with team well or being rude. Maybe dont let commander pick which hero only get to choose to summon hero drop and which player, players can have ratings as well as commanders and sign up for que to be dropped warped or spawned in by commander. Have hero drop decent price to force commander to choose tactically if it's worth it to bring in a player.
Winning GSL is hard for Eu/Na players because it's over a span of several weeks. Winning gsl vs the world though might actually happen(lets hope!). I think i've read that serral have stated that he dont want to live in korea for an extended time to be in gsl (might also be that that info is just from some random youtubecomment so it might be wrong). No matter if its true or not i can understand not wanting to go to SKorea for like 2 months to win a gsl :P
@@vir042 I can completely understand not wanting to spend that amount of time away from home for a tournament. In my mind, it would be a cool way to get to see Korea, but maybe if you're preparing for a big pro tournament you just have to stay locked away in front of a computer practicing strategies for hours on end instead of sightseeing. But if there were ever a foreigner to win the GSL he seems to be the man to do it.
If he did he would be the first non-Korean to win, correct? If so he should definitely do it. Why not go down in the history books? He definitely has the skill.
If Serral had a personality like TLP, Snute or Special I could go for him but he seems so cold and mechanic. Maybe it is the language barrier, I don't know. I was going for Special, he seems just so much more human and likeable. Grats to Serral though.

In the end, Time was the best player from Serral perspective. He was the only one to take a single game.

I barely saw Serral use his Arty shoot and move defence/offence approach, so I don't think he was all that worried..
