I wouldn't have been old enough to remember or watch this as I was just four at the time. Besides,I would have been fast asleep in bed. Play School and my toys the only things I recall back then!
@@anonUK Friday 11th October 1974 the 10th was election day the programme that caught us out was Top Of The Pops which was usually on a Thursday but was on a Friday on that occasion
i miss the nightly run down with the times of the programs. the BBC is just absolutely rubbish now. it was rubbish then, but at least all the other stations were also rubbish.
Excellent BBC1 line up there, 45 minute TOTP, those were the days. Also Paul Burnett, he seemed to vanish in the eighties.

Top Of The Pops being on a Friday that week
I think it was on Fridays for a while in the early 70s anyway.
This is actually Thursday 10th October 1974.
10 October my fucking arse! It's actually 11 October - I've just checked on genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/schedules/bbcone/london/1974-10-11
HOLD ON, That could of been a mistake from the uploader.
We have elections on Thursdays. The "last look" at the election would surely have been on Friday.
