Check engine light. Chevy's way of letting you know the engine still works.
Vicarod - hahaha 😆 love it
mess with the pipes codes get throne.
@@chevellewilson5257 not just from a muffler delete.
@@chevellewilson5257 If your a weekend driveway mechanic yeah sure
If you get a check engine light, that just means you still have an engine. All good in my book
The true duels sounded AWESOME!
Those true duals sounds heavenly.
I prefer true duals but the gray truck could use a set of resonators or short glasspacks for a deeper sound.
I was looking all over for this video a couple months ago, glad it finally exists
I want the 1st avalanche with the 2nd avalanche's exhaust system. That blue is awesome
None of these are actually straight piped, they still have the cats
Forgive me for not knowing your name.. but I just love your attitude ! Always happy to do what you like ! And great content like always !
That's Mr. Right there and Right there
@@TerryByrdJr Formerly Mr.we'll letchu guys hearit tinasecond
I also like how he enjoys doing what he does and takeing his time to film all his customers cars , and how he gets excited about how they sound, most shops want to get you out as fast and dont care if you like it or not.
Definitely gonna have to true dual straight pipe my 05 Avalanche when I get it!
Set of headers would bring the blue alive for sure.
Blue one gets my vote.
Same
Agreed
Understandable
I agree, might do that setup on my suburban
If u remove the cats it’s a lot better
Tinted headlights, great idea bud
Big sarcasm😁
I prefer y pipe setups for daily driving personally once you true dual it can get a little to clapped and not as deep
Clapped would be my method, running open headers on just about everything I drive 😂😂
The GM trucks are representing for loud dual exhaust! I like it!! 😎👍🏾🤩
Yessirrrr.
🗣Truuuuuuuueeeeee Duuuuaaallllsss ruuuulllleeeee!!!
Anybody else scream beast mode when he does?
On the true dual I think a x pipe would make it sounds way cleaner
The 3 cat set up sounded so good I wish I had 3 cats on my 04 tahoe
Nobody gonna talk about how the LTZ gray was fast as hell?
True duals - disturbing the peace! BEAST MODE!! 😆😎👍🏾
Gotta love that Chevy sound I fucking love it
Yup its official. I need to true dual my Silverado
I love your vids but you guys really need a better welder
Amen
Is it the same welder every time?
Hey look WE ALL LEARNED BY DOING!
True duals. All the way.
Just got a 02 avalanche it has gutted cats rn but i'm forsure gonna true duals it
They both sound great! That y piped one had really low oil pressure.
True duels
The y pipe has a lot cleaner sound don't really like that raspy straight dual
The blue one was my favorite
Love it about to get an exhaust for my 07
If that third cat wouldn't be on that y pipe straights it would sound a little louder, similar to the dual straights
how close are you to St.Louis, Missouri? I recently had my cats stolen off my baby, 5.3 avalanche, I'm just lost on what to do, any answers will help
That sounds real good
The way he said true duals sounded spooky
Can that dreaded 3rd cat be removed? Or will it effect the engine and or the computer with lights in dash??
Getting true duals on my 1985 gmc serria
It would truly suck to be on night shift and live next door to that place.
Can you put true duels on a 04 Chevy avalanche?
Sounds great.
Was it just the owners preference to have 21/4 pipes vs 21/2 or 3”? Is it a performance advantage when doing true duals?
Probably owner preference. At stock power 2-1/4 true duals (or with an X or H pipe) wouldn't be a performance DETRIMENT, however, they would make the sound higher pitched and raspier, which given that it's a clapper build due to the 5" tips, that probably what they wanted. You don't need 3" true duals until you're over 500-600 WHP.
Also, you can have a performance Y-pipe setup as long as the single that the two duals neck down into is proportionally larger than the duals. For instance, a single 3.5-inch will flow the same as dual 2.5-inch. My favorite setup is aftermarket headers, high-flow cats, tuned length J-pipe resonators, and equal length dual 2.5 down pipes into a long section of single 3.5 that only splits at the very end before going into some small straight-through mufflers, and then quad 4-inch tips either of any design besides single wall.
I wanna drive up from St. Louis just so I can get on my avalanche
Come on down
@@exhaustaddicts where is your location where are you guys at?
@@busterlouie6176 3560 Dickerson road,Nashville,TN,37207
What would that true dual price be. I have an 05. I'm only an hour and a half up the highway by Elizabethtown Kentucky

@Exhaust Addicts I wondering how much the Y'd straight pipe dualled behind the rear tires with 5 inch tips would cost for a 07 Chevy avalanche?
Call us
@@exhaustaddicts where can I get the exhaust set up on the gray avalanche I’ll hate to have to drive all the way to Nashville 😭
Let's see how is it sounds without the cat
Where is he located?
3560 Dickerson road Nashville TN 37207
Always true dual.
Anyone know where I can get the straight pipes?
What does this do for power? Fuel economy? Any change? GREAT SOUND Do I get a DISCOUNT FOR BEING FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE?❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Fuel economy doesn’t change but you don’t restrict your engine so you usually get 10-15hp and 15ft of torque moew
Dual makes me think of seriously annoying glasspacks. I hate that shit
If I do a true dual will my check engine light go on?
No
Where can I get the true duals for my 05 Chevy avalanche
3560 Dickerson rd Nashville TN 37207
Is there a drone??
Y pipe has that grunt tho
RIP to the y pipe lol true duals always win
Sweet
Hardly straight piped with converters on it.
Thats what im saying, put the whole striaght from the manifold to the angle cut tip... BUENO
That Avalanche sounded way better for some reason.
There both avalanches
Lmao
Y pipes always make an airy sound. True duals always better
True duals sounds like 8 lawnmowers running at one time 🤮
Y pipe is way better
Where exactly you guys located?? 🤘🤘
In Tennessee. Look at the vehicle plates.
Gay? Top or bottom?
GT 69 So you have the address in Tennessee????
@@monsterkxf No, I just looked at the plates. Every car that I've seen in the videos has a Tennessee plate on it.
Nashville if I am correct
Yeah they may sound good but God dam that some of the shittiest quality of work and to be proud of that. You joints especially on the y pipe are horrible may want to step up the quality a bit
Why don't you move your ass to Nashville Tennessee and apply for the welding job since you know everything
@@busterlouie6176 not hard at all to do a better job than that
@@JoeJoe-bz9nb I respect you for that maybe you can do a better job but what if its a young kid just learning a rookie or novice older gentleman all in saying is you can be a little nicer and kind with your words because in time maybe his\her work will.drastically improve. Blessings to.you and your family.
Not true duels
Idk why you posted the first one
How is it not true duals? It's two separate, straight pipes all the way out the back.
@@marcoballinger7923 Read the title. It’s y-pipe vs true duals, not both true duals.
True duals win every time tho. 👍
Looks nasty 🤮
That’s not straight piped.
There's something wrong with the exhaust kids. It's terribly loud, it sounds old and the vehicle makes that typical struggling noise. -.
???
@@KombustionKingdom Yes. That vehicle sounds terribly loud, old and dated. Also it visibly struggles on the road. It might be a damaged pipe.
Kim Riley How does one analyze a vehicle and decides on their own, “this vehicle physically StRuGgLeS🥴”
@@KombustionKingdom The struggle becomes really obvious by watching the video.
Kim Riley it’s also really obvious your a moron that has no clue what your talking about
Avalanche 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Your opinion = 💩
Get out of here son
@@xxlaugherteexx Agreed
Just mad cuz it can do everything your Silverado can and more.
Y-pipe: 106 decibels.
True duals: 113 decibels.
