- Gu Shengnan, after suffering the double blow of broken love and unemployment, she waits for the prince riding a white horse to rescue her. But unexpectedly this prince turns to be a picky and arrogant man, Lu Jin. Once he meets with the talented chef Gu Shengnan, constant accidents show up, but he is always attracted by Shengnan’s superb cooking skill. My cousin who studied performing arts once told me that during rehearsals, they made females and males be in intimate positions, to teach them to control their emotions and reactions. When it's work, you have to sort through the emotions needed for each drama
It's their JOB..They don't fall for each other and that's PROFESSIONALISM...
Well if you really think about it.. the whole process is a little awkward😭there’s an entire team watching them with a set of cameras from every angle, and they have to do multiple retakes so by that time there’s no feelings, just getting work done

Now that is a class act,lin yushen is a phenomenal actor,the nuances he brings to is character is off the charts,you can actually see how much his character loves her. I have to say I am from the United States and I have fallen in love with Chinese dramas I don't even care to watch American actors anymore, the men are ridiculously handsome,and the women are gorgeous 😍 Lin yushen is so handsome and I love his beautiful smoldering eyes,will continue to follow and watch his dramas, and don't get me started on his speaking voice just makes you melt😊😊😊

Man 13:39 to 14:47 is just cinematic genius. The music, the close ups and angles, and the acting. Oh gosh, the acting. The way these two look at each other and how good they look together, it's just perfection really. I especially loved how they cut up and separated the kiss scene and had multiple ones. Made it even more romantic and it felt fresher because Chinese dramas tend to elongate kiss scenes way too much sometimes.
I 💕 this film. It's refreshing to watch a picture without all that sex and allowance. Last time you had a movie like that here in the u.s.a. think was 1980

@@kazz8588 thank you but I'm not in the industry, just a cinema buff who's watched a lot of dramas. When you've watched enough, you tend to notice the usual patterns used so it's nice when something is done out of the norm. Makes me appreciate the people working behind the scenes to bring a drama to life. It's easy to appreciate the actors and storyline because it's obvious but the directors, editors and cinematographers don't get the same love.

LiMan and Cheng understood that they weren't chosen but I think it's sad that they thought they weren't good enough. I don't believe 'good enough' matters for lovers, it's only a thing for ' the family ' to judge someone by. Like arranged marriages..... for the benefit of the family
You are absolutely right "Good enough" should never be in the vocabulary of true love. Feelings that is developed between 2 people does not measure how good one is for the other. Love doesn't work that way. In the same manner, you cannot hide it too, but if it is not reciprocated, it is time to move on. The response of the other person has nothing to do with whether you are good enough or not...it's just that the feeling towards you is not there...it cannot be forced.
Li-Man could have done that, if given the chance. Frankly they had better chemistry than the main 2 leads.

The uncle is such a valuable character - he adds another dimension to the show. He is very dependable - from dressing up as a macho to pick up XiaoDi to Lu Jin asking him to prepare a dress for her to attend Lu Jin’s crowning her as his princess. And to accompany her to the event to the words he gave her to send her to him is so touching - so genuine and he acted it very well, like a proud father/ uncle/ friend. 🌹👰💍🤵♂️

哈哈这一对霸道总裁和小白兔的组合挺合理的。路晋每天忙工作一本正经如果再和黎曼在一起估计就是继续在家开会，了无生趣。但是在顾胜男面前就可以卸下这些压力，简单快乐的调皮，还有美食天天吃，而且妹妹是真的好可爱哇~简直是梦里的生活。天生一对有时候真的不是要般配，而是要互补。这部剧如果剔除一开始拿面粉搞车等有伤风化的桥段，可能会更好。
