Hello mate I used this software to recover 7tb of movies While it was scanning i could see the movies that it had recovered i could even play them...after a couple of days it finally recovered all the files....but the problem is after the software had finish i could no longer see the files it's telling me it was corrupted and the files are unreadable....but it was fine while it was scanning....extremely frustrating.......any suggestions

For you, I liked, subbed and shared and for the software creator, I will donate some money which is the first time I've actually ever donated for freeware software. That is how much I appreciate no being raked over the coals to recover important files. My issue was copying over drone video files from an aerial shoot and halfway through the copy from a brand new SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB micro SD card to my computer, I started getting errors saying files weren't there. So I guess the partition somehow got corrupted. I've never seen that before so is that a bad micro SD card or just an rare anomaly?

This program honestly is bloody fantastic!! Little hack for anyone trying to recover footage from a dvr - go into the file type selection bit and make sure "dovecot" is selected, the files can be converted in VLC after recovery to get the video to playback as normal 👌

Just of now I had a lot of problems running Windows 11 on my PC (Pretty high-end one) and i had to diskpart clean my SSD to clear the format , but i mistyped wrong disk in the command and I lost my brick HDD which held a lot of pictures and videos gathered for few years. Awesome suggestion. So what happened with me is I noticed a few files missing for my thumb drive. During my recovery process is I'm finding all types of metadata and other things that was on the usb drive somehow. some from my web brower or temp data. It was strictly for file storage just dropping pictures or videos and nothing was installed on it. How do you prevent programs from using the thumb drive as a temp storage or anything like that. I think that's why it got corrupted. edit: yea in the future I will not be saving files directly to the usb drive.

This thing absolutely does recover files. I just hope it can get the video files I was after. I'm finding old memes I deleted, but so far, no video file has popped up. If no such thing appears from the USB drive or the SSD, I guess I'll just have to figure out if those 32kB .gz files are transfer packets and if I can use those to reassemble the video.
Thank you! I accidentally overwritten my ssd with a version of windows by accident and I was horrified I would never see all my data again, the only unfortunate thing is my ssd is now destroyed (1tb went to 30gb)
It "appears" that this software, like most other data recovery software, recovers files but does NOT recover the original file name. Instead, it just names the recovered files 00001.extension. You have to then "manually" open ever file to see what it is so you can rename it to the original name. Thus not very user freindly IMHO.
Trying to find a way to recover files off a hard drive that doesn't show up in file manager, disk management, device manager, or even the BIOS. I DO hear it try to run when connected internally though. Likely will have to pay a local pc repair shop for data recovery services

my only complaint about this software is the way it does NOT keep the original file names. im now going through 70gigs worth of 112 folders each with hundreds of photos and videos from the past 16ish years. Now i need a piece of software that can compare files and find exact matches so i can delete duplicate/trip/quadlicates.
Not used this one, but it looks far easier than manually using a disk editor and chaining the non-contiguous blocks up manually like done in the days of yesteryear...
