One small detail people have been leaving out of these videos is that the input is mono. The 1/4" input is a TS (Tip Sleeve.) If you have music that pans hard right or hard left, some of it will be dropped out. There is an adapter to correct this, but you're using too many already. Just buy a Y cable. 1/4" TS Male to Dual 1/4" TS Male. One cable is easier to connect giving you the best possible outcome, a dual mono signal with both left and right channels combined. Hope this helps anyone else using this for non-guitar type hook-ups.

Make sure when you plug the irig to your phone. The app your streaming to isnt open yet. Good way to check is to start to record a video with music playing, should say something like "recording audio through input device"

It really doesn't matter. It depends on what Cables you have at your disposal. Either way, the point is you have control of the volume directly from your MIDI.

What is the problem exactly? Both of those mixers have RCA Output so the only adapter you need is the 1/4 inch to aux Female (Headphone) . And then an aux cable (headphone to RCA male).

Once the you are able to connect the speaker's output to the line in of the iRig with the adapters I talked about, you should be fine. But you should consider a small mixer then connect the mixer to the iRig.
If you are using a guitar, you wont need any adapters that i mentioned. Also make sure you plug in the irig to your phone before you open any app you are trying to stream / record to. I dont own a guitar, but whatever cable that is uses should be going to the 1/4 inch slot directly.

Pretty complicated. OBS should be able to detect your SX3 audio card as a sound device anyway. No cables needed. It detects my DDJSR2 & Mixars Primo controller. Shouldn’t be any different for the SX3.
For Your Setup, I wouldn't recommend it. You need at least to outputs so you can listen to what you are playing. I am not familiar with the Nokia phones, so I can't give a definite answer on that.
I can't get this thing to work at all. I've watched several different videos and it seems like a really basic setup. When I plug it into my phone it still only picks up background noise and nothing from my controller. I almost want to say my device is broken, but there is no way to tell. Please help.
What are you using to connect the controller to the iRig? A way to test the iRig is functioning is to plug it in to your phone and record a video. For androids, it should say something like, "recording though external mic" or something along those lines. Hope this helps and you don't have a faulty device.

@@jamestillman3500 So it looks like the adapter you are using is preventing the iRig Signal from coming in. I know iPhones are finicky on what products are compatible with theirs. Since the making of this video, there is a new version of the iRig that is meant for iPhones (amzn.to/2WZ965a). If this is the one you have let me know. If not, Another test we can do is to connect a wired earbuds with the mic attachment and see if that works with calls and recording video. If that works, then it might be a compatibility issue with that adapter. I would try a different adapter that has Mic compatibility. Hopefully this helps, let me know.

The algorithm for FB and Instagram is getting better and better at finding the songs you are playing, that why at the expense of a clean mix, you have to play sfx and/or talk over your mix so that way you won't get flagged. American Music is hard to play LIVE on any of the social platforms, which is why i mainly use it for my Caribbean mixes. But even then, they find some of the classic Reggae or Soca songs.
No Mono, remember most people watching livestreams on their cell phone so in that case the difference between mono/stereo is small. With that being said, the iRig Stream is on B&H and that does stereo.
How do you find the mic levels when djing I stream to twitch and tiktok Twitch via separate mixer through USB into obs.. The sound is great and mic levels great Using a second output on my external mixer into the irig.. Music sounds good but getting complaints the mic sounds low. You could, but the iRig does have some sort of Gain on it, so it has the potential to be distorted at High Volume.

Have you tried strapping the irig to the mount using the Velcro's that comes with it, also test your audio using the headphone port
I try to use the velcro whenever I can. I usually never use the headphone port. I moniter with another device to check the livefeed.

You'll need A rodecaster to do something complex like that. This is meant for 1 way input mostly.

OBS recognizes my SX2 as an audio device, but no signal is showing when music is playing, still trying to figure that one out.

For this particular product no you don't. But they do make apps for it, but it wouldn't control the iRig 2.
how are u streaming to facebook live and not getting flagged ....i tried on instagram and it got shut down with in 2 mins of a live mix ?
The algorithm for FB and Instagram is getting better and better at finding the songs you are playing, that why at the expense of a clean mix, you have to play sfx and/or talk over your mix so that way you won't get flagged. American Music is hard to play LIVE on any of the social platforms, which is why i mainly use it for my Caribbean mixes. But even then, they find some of the classic Reggae or Soca songs.

No Mono, remember most people watching livestreams on their cell phone so in that case the difference between mono/stereo is small. With that being said, the iRig Stream is on B&H and that does stereo.

How do you find the mic levels when djing
I stream to twitch and tiktok
Twitch via separate mixer through USB into obs.. The sound is great and mic levels great
Using a second output on my external mixer into the irig.. Music sounds good but getting complaints the mic sounds low.
If anyone has resolved this issue letme know
