This helped a lot thank you! That little ground piece on the home button fell off on mine and getting it back while screwing in the wiring without upsetting the whole arrangement was the single most difficult part of this for me lol

Thanks. This helped me to succesfully replace the screen. One tip: at the very beginning one of the my two screws that allow to open the phone was so eroded that I couldn't even use a screwdriver to open the phone to begin with. I dip the tip of a slightly slightly bigger pentalobe in superglue, put it in contact with the screw, left it there for a minute... and once "glued", that gave me enough torque to twist it and take out the useless screw. It's in the garbage now.
