Im a SOC analyst wanting to pivot over to network Security, currently studying for the CCNA and will get a firewall cert after, any tips or advice on the transition? Thanks
Hi Stan, what I can say is transitioning into Network Security is a great step. You are already on the right path. You can see my journey and draw comparisons to your own, I have just uploaded a video on that - ua-cam.com/video/NcpK0N6CNDs/v-deo.html Alternatively check the video on how to transition from network engineering to network security - ua-cam.com/video/CaUsPUMqltU/v-deo.html
If I can make one comment on constructive criticism, I understand the want to keep engagement. But the constant visual pop ups at the start distract from the professionalism of your content and just felt a little “immature” like clickbaity stuff. Just my personal opinion. Thank you for the advice
I will be making a video on a complete roadmap to work in the networking/cybersecurity domain, do watch that when it is out, that will help you get better
Wow, this video is a goldmine of knowledge! Keep up the fantastic work!
Much appreciated!
This was insightful Roy! Its so important to have updated network docs, diagrams and updates!
