The array of street food in Morocco is quite vast and includes tea time and breakfast sweets, simple snacks, sandwiches, soups, grilled meats and seafood, fried fish and hearty main dishes such as stewed lentils, rotisserie chicken and classic tagines.
Freshness of the product is the most important thing in moroccan cuisine, wether you pay 5 or 500dh (0.50 or 50 dollars). And if you want the purest stuff here's a hint, tell your butcher/grocery vendor/fisherman, you're preparing a dish for the kids, they going to give you the "freshest" and best pieces.
Moroccan food is not processed or dense in calories like fast food so you can eat a lot of it and as long as you do some walking after you won't gain weight
Going through the spice market I kept breathing in trying to sniff my screen! I love love LOVE whole spices and have a Ras Al Hanout blend of my own here at home.
Réal fact. As a moroccan living in Belgium When we Cook moroccan food here it doesn't taste like in Morocco because the quality of the products are different. In Morocco 75% of the vegetables they cook are producted in Morocco they eat local I think that's the difference.

You are welcome, just one advice please don't go alone, i'm moroccan and yes the country is awesome, I would recommand ifrane, merzouga and finishing by rabat would be a good view on morocco, but being a women alone you will be an easy prey for a stealer or dishonest people, but most family will invite you ;)

I'm originally from a smaller town next to Rabat, but i have lived in Florida for the last 18 years, and trust when i tell you that the first place i have to go to every time i go back to morocco is Rabat just to have that mille feuille and that lemonade. they're amazingly delicious. glad you enjoyed your stay in morocco.
