Please do a series where you and your mom cook Russian food!!!!
love this idea🙌🏻
I love the vlogs with mama, especially when they’re talking in russian.
@@tzaritza4121 exactly!!!
No matter how old we get, mom's advice will always be gold. 😁
so true🙏🏻
I'm not Jewish, not religious, nor have a big family but this was so heart-warming❤😊
thanks lovely💕
Gary is a gentleman really, I loved how he was telling Ashish what he can eat
Now I have more respect for him 🙏🙏🙏🙏
In Hinduism we don't eat beef, steak
We worship cow, it gives us milk
It's like a mother to us, our dharma don't allow us to eat beef and steak
It touched my heart how Gary was taking care of others feelings and respect them
I wish him all the success, happiness, good health, prosperity, every good thing to him🌹🌹🌹🌹
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg yes! Gary is so thoughtful & considerate! Your mom looks so young
As a Russian this bring back so many memories! My family will always cover the ENTIRE table with food. When we went to visit them last year it was like a party after a party because we hadn't gone back since we left over 20 years ago. So much food and goodness 😍
aw❤️ that is so sweet!
Im from Poland and we do the same with this food thing! And im loving it!! Good food, family..love❤️
Me as a muslim arabic girl really enjoyed seeing your traditions may God bless you , happy new year 😘❤
Пусть мама почаще появляется в видео!😊 Она прекрасна❣
your mum looks younger and younger in each vlog... okay Valeria we see that gene of yours there ;)
you guys don't age at all i love seeing this bond you both have it gives the example to the kids 🥺
aw❤️ you're too sweet!
Valeria: "eto gefillte fish"
Me: that was Russian, German and English in one sentence 👁👄👁
😂😂
Where’s the German?
@@jerusalem4492 I think they got jiddisch and German confused as it can be so similar. Gefillte and gefüllter are quite easy to mix up 🤷🏽♀️
Well, it was derived from High German. It's not just a coincidence. Also the other dish "esek flash" is like "Essig Fleisch" translating vinegar meat which makes totally sense since they said it's sweet and sour.
@@sinawantsanewusername I see
This reminds me of the first day of Eid at my Grandma’s house. Also breaking fast in the first day of Ramadan with the family. AND Muslim new year celebration. It’s always nice to see similarities between traditions even when the cultures are so far from each other.
I totally agree! ❤️
Love seeing your family's traditions ❤️
will continue to share more 🙌🏻❤️
Loving the more personal vibe in this vlog❤️ this kind of positivity is very welcome during these times😊
so glad you enjoyed watching🙌🏻😘
I Heard „challah” and I though „Oh that sounds a bit similar to me” and than I saw the picture and realised I see what in polish (I’m polish) is called “chałka” (I think it is pronounced a bit like „halka”) 😂❤️ and I love when you have videos with your mom, I always am suprised how many words in Russian is similar to polish🙈
I love the similarities between cultures! I’ll keep filming with my mom as long as she allows 😂
@@ValeriaLipovetsky of course❤️❤️❤️
I notice that too....but I love understanding the conversation without having to look at subtitles 😂
I'm not jewish, but I love chałka
Russian and polish languages are very similar, as Slavonic languages 🙂. Im Bulgarian and i understand very well polish and Russian of course. Greetings from Bulgaria, Valeria 🤗
שנה טובה ומוצלחת מהממת, בריאות שמחה ורק טוב תמיד לך ולכל המשפחה🙏❤️
I love your mom. She is such a big entrepreneur but for her family she is doing the basic cooking at home herself to make everything special.
I need more videos with your gorgeous mom! She is literally the best! So much to learn from her ❤️
All that Russian talk and food warms my soul 😍
❤️❤️❤️
this speech warms my heart so much and reminds me of my family ❤️ sending love to your family!
“You’re grandma’s boy” - so adorable!
❤️❤️
Your mom is such a bright light!
One of the most genuine families ever seen :) thanks for sharing this moment !
Thank you Valeria...for inviting us all to be with your beautiful family💖 I wish for all of us here and your family a year filled with sweetness...even more sweet than apples and honey.
Thank you my dear🙏🏻🥰 sending lots of love to you❤️
Omg everything’s looks delicious!!!😍
And the new haircut from Maxi is the cutest😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
thank you!! was so much fun cooking with the fam🙌🏻
In Poland we have reaally big legacy of jewish meals and treats such as chalka . WIsh to host you in Poland one day
❤️❤️❤️
what other jewish meals do u have in Poland except chalka?
@@katielove2726 we do have gefilte fish( it was mentioned in the video) which name is "karp po żydowsku" also maca it is popular as a snack, kugel, cymes. All of these meals are characteristic for Ashkenazim jewls that used to be a big community in eastern europe.
I been thinking the same watching the video:) both about food and hosting them in PL
@@JULAz1000 “Used to be a big community.” You mean they used to live in Poland, they used to be your neighbors, until 3 million of them-men, women, children, infants-were murdered (half of the 6 million who were murdered were from Poland).
I’m not attacking you. I’m making sure readers understand the true implications behind “used to be a big community.”
My family was from Kałuszyn. There is nothing left of the generations of Jewish history in my family’s town. Our cemetery was destroyed, my ancestors’ headstones were used to build streets and walkways. My family’s home was destroyed. Our synagogue was destroyed. A gas station was built on top of its ruins.
Don’t forget what happened. My people didn’t just disappear.
I agree with last comment ... this brings such a warm feeling and much needed after 2020. I adore Victoria. Her toast at the end made me cry. Living far away from my family it just warmed my heart.
Valeria I love that you shared this jewish side of you, I’m not very religious either in fact I’m not at all but I think it’s so important to be proud of where we come from, our culture and our background. It Can be a delicate subject to touch religions on social media but hey the world is made of all kinds of people and the fact that we don’t believe in the same things, come from different places and have different roots and culture IS OK and actually pretty cool to be different :) happy to know more of your russian/jewish side xx :)
Totally agree🙌🏻❤️ thanks lovely!
Love to see your mom in your videos! I’m her fan!🤘🏻 That’s great, that you keep your traditions❤️
we'd love to see more cooking videos with your mom! She's such a sweetheart

I can’t get over this video ❤️ I really loved the vibe and the cooking part is one of my favorite parts
This was really heart-warming!😊
I love that you are talking about traditions :)
It's really interesting
With my family we almost have the same dinner then you had for Rosh Hashana ! We do also the matza ball soup and the geffilte fish with beets horseradish, my grandma used to make them poached but as a kid we didn't liked them so she started to fry them and ouhlala amazing !
Now that my mother isn't alive anymore, I continue to celebrate with a group of friends Rosh Hashana and I kept my grandma's recipe. Everybody ask me to do them every year ! Keeping the tradition is important for me, thank you for sharing your Rosh Hashana with us !
Chana Tova Oumetouka !
That sounds delicious! It’s amazing you’re trying to keep the tradition ❤️
Beautiful Family♡☆Thanks for sharing♡

😂😂 so funny! Glad you enjoyed watching!
Love this!
Shanah tovah!
This was interesting!
I am Romanian and we have similar dishes. I am not Jewish.
We make the matzah balls with semolina flour.
We make roe salad with small red fish eggs.
Beetroot salad- we eat it with horseradish and we also make borscht which I love so much.
We also make the ''garlic jello'' but we also put meat inside (usually chicken but also pork).
I think I've seen stuffed cabbage leaves? We make them with fermented cabbage leaves and we put rice, meat and vegetables inside.
And we also make the challah which I love eating with butter.
The latkes are my favorite dish. Now that I live in Switzerland, they have something similar here called Rösti so it is really interesting to see how the recipes travel from culture to culture.
I would definitely be interested in more food videos!
Will definitely share more recipes ❤️❤️
Получился очень душевный, семейный влог, спасибо Вам))!

Yay! Thank you!
very similar to polish cuisine🤤
Yes 😊
I thought exactly the same :D Vegetables salad 😍
And "Garlic jello" - zimne nóżki with vinegar😂💞
In Slovakia, we call it “huspenina”.
Also, when we do a broth, we boil The chicken for 1,5 h, just then we add vegetables for 1 hour.
Bon apetít
Wish u luck Valeria
Имея семью-мы сила)) Какая хорошая душевная речь🙏🏻
