very nice
I worked Disney Attractions for 9 years. I do enjoy the history of theme/amusement parks rides.
Hello Jeff belanger 😊
Oh boy, the mini-carousel outside Market Basket! It plays three songs: "Daisy, Daisy (aka. Bicycle Built For Two)", "Pennsylvania Polka", and "Lara's Theme" from the movie "Doctor Zhivago". I remember one bitterly cold day in winter, some kid begged their mother/aunt/grandmother to let them ride the carousel. She finally gave in and shuffled two quarters into the coin box (I was working the front end and one of the doors had stuck open so we had a front row seat to all this; I said to myself 'If it plays Lara's Theme, I am going to have a hard time not laughing'. In my defense, it was so cold it felt like Siberia). Well, the carousel starts up, but only weird, electronic clinking noises came out of the music mechanism. Kid was mad, Mom/Aunt/Grandmother hauls him off, and I have not looked at those carousels quite the same way since.
It's a sweet merry go round. Now, I had an urge to take a ride up there. Haven't been to Watch Hill for a while.
Hello Ray auger 😊
I'll give you a pass this time, because I like you, but don't ever ever mention TS on New England Legends again. Please. Thank you.
