- The Allosaurus hatchlings have a lot to learn when it comes to feeding themselves. Stunning clip from 'Walking with Dinosaurs'.
Broadcast in 1999, Walking with Dinosaurs set out to create the most accurate portrayal of prehistoric animals ever seen on the screen. Combining fact and informed speculation with cutting-edge computer graphics and animatronics effects, the series took two years to make.

baby dinosaurs are so adorable
Caroline Brumfield Oh yes😊
Caroline Brumfield and then they grow up.
no you are baby ;)
In ark they are
@SpinoGaming lmao
How wonderful it would be to have a time machine so we could go back and observe events of this kind first hand.
you better make the time machine with wheels and reinforced or else ur gonna die pretty fast
First: Go back to 1923 to kill Hitler
Second: Jurassic safari! *weeeee*
@@Rubashow people still doesn't consider him as evil in 1923 so you would be considered as evil :/
@@SirGoofyparrotfish He already led a violent coup in 1923 and was incarcerated for high trason. He already had his anitsemitic, racist world view and already had ursupred his party. So he was already evil for everyone to see.
Aslo: I have a freaking time machine. Who gives a fuck how I am seen. Weeeeee....
I should create my own paleoart painting of Allosaurus, Torvosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Diplodocus, Apatosaurus, Camarasaurus, Stegosaurus, Ornitholestes and Anuroganthus and Camptosaurus in Wyoming in the Late Jurassic (Later the Morrison Formation) similar to the paleoart created by Charles Knight someday.
Dinosaur domumentary rule one : there's ALWAYS an egg eater predator at the beginning. Always.
ZQFMGB Dinosaur documentary rule 2 : Always have moma near by... always...
Which is true in nature. Predators always look out for easy pickings
Land before time counts to?
Small mesopredators generally do steal eggs and babies.
Would you like an easy meal or hard meal.
Eggs and new hatched are easy meals.
Just imagine raising one of those hatchlings as a pet
"Ah, they grow up so fast..." (sniff)
"You do know Gnasher's just ate everyone in the butcher's section, right?"
"Yeah... that's my boy"
Liam Roberts
I would so keep an allosaurus as a pet
Liam Roberts .imagine walking an adult allosaurus down the street stop boy stop boy. When i say stop i mean stop
Imagine taking your pet Allosaurus to a dog park and literally every dog there is just crowded in a corner, shit terrified.
A 2 ton predator isn’t a good house pet. Just the space issue alone is a problem. After a decade it would be too big to fit in most living rooms.
Though after a certain point it would get so big humans won’t be worth the effort of hunting.
I was always amazed by the size of the stegosaurus. As a kid I would always imagine how incredible it would’ve been to stand next to one
2:24 That scorpion was like “Get away from me you two legged reptile freak!”
Cid ep 1510
Yeah but then their screaming and running and chaos
Yea lol
Looked like he got the little bugger right in the eye at one point!
The Narrator is David Attenborough, in the Jurassic period when he was young.
Truer words have never been said
The narrator is Kenneth Branagh
@@kennye4950 r/wooosh
No is Kenneth Branagh, he did Walking with Dinosaurs, this, Walking with Beasts, walking with monsters
@Sam Gackstetter ok
Same here, man. I'm so glad I grew up in the 90s and experienced great programs such as these.
My lord. For small premature killers at a young age, baby allosauruses are fucking cute when they fail or try to become an expert hunter at small stuff.
Please take some time to check this comment out.
If you’ve lied, that’s a sin. If you’ve stolen, that’s a sin. If you’ve lusted after anyone, hated anyone in your own heart, and put God’s holy Name in the place of a cuss word- OMG, and the such, which you just have-, you a have committed adultery and hate in your heart, and have blasphemed the Name of God, Who made you and Who is righteous and holy and good, deserving of all respect and honor and glory.
God is good, and we are all evil, having sinned and fallen short of perfection. God, being perfect, has perfect standards.
None of us can work our ways to heaven, to eternal life, happiness, and freedom from the very things we do each and every day which go directly against God. For any good work, there is more than likely to be a multitude of bad in our lives that can’t be covered by a good work done by our own hands, or any other faulty, sinful human being- for no good deed done by us sinful beings can cover sin.
God, Who is a good and righteous Judge, won’t leave any sin uncovered, because to Him all sins are plain as day and more serious than we could ever imagine. The pit of eternal punishment, which is Hell, is the destination for all sinners who, by our nature, are against God- rebels against Him Who alone is good. We are deserving of righteous judgment.
However, He is also merciful, having given His Son Jesus Christ as an eternal sacrifice, pouring out His wrath against our sin upon Him in our place, so that through His death we may receive reconciliation to God, and by His resurrection we can be justified.
What we all need to do is turn from our sins and our works that can’t save us, and trust in the Lord Jesus- His Deity, His death being enough to cover our sins, and in His resurrection from the dead. There is hope for anyone to be saved from the judgement that awaits us, but it is only in Christ.
He will dwell within us and change us- He will give us a new heart and new desires, which seek to do what He wants, and to honor Him.
Turn to God.
@@HybrTd5383 But “Oh my lord” doesn’t use gods name in vain (in my opinion)
Aww they look cute
U wouldn't say that to one thats chasing U!😅lol
no you
That cough at the end was so cute
Ok people. Scientists know how dinosaurs behaved in many aspects by looking at the shape and size of their brains and then comparing it to a similar (brain wise) modern animal. U can even look at their bodies and teeth, claws and tails, thus telling u the way they hunted, fed, ran and bred. There are some aspects that are speculative and are guessed. Its as close as we can get until further discoveries.
But no matter how many animals they compare there brains to these animals are not None Avian Dinosaurs & they would act much differently as they looked, we can guess but never know too much about concerning those Dinosaurs as we have little to compare them with, don't say "Crocs or Birds" as they use there brains for there way of life not a T.rex or Brontosaurus ect! We have to rely on Docus that have Paleontologists of note like Bob Backer or Phil Curry, Michael Benton ect!
+Michael Taylor every animal uses its brain as a way of life....
Thing is we can never know the intelligence of an extinct taxon. But the usage of phylogenetic bracketing can give us an idea of the behaviours of said animals. The body type can give ideas as to the diet. Ichnofossils reveal behavioral patterns (paths taken to a watering hole, or catching prey). And even the environment itself reveals a lot. Also, the brain to body size ratio theory is very flimsy. I have my own issues regarding it, especially knowing that many avians today basically ignore its existence. But nonetheless.
As awesome as this documentary is, as said, it is a guess based on the current knowledge available to the teams behind the films. Of course walking with dinosaurs as a series is well known for taking artistic liberties (Utahraptor in Europe, massive Ornithoceirus which in fact ahould be a different species, Tropeognathus, and the morrison formation being portrayed as a dry region/ fully forest or-->
+Michael Taylor ---> fully aracauria plains), but it attempted to be a docuseries to portray these creatures as animals. This probably wasn't even the behavior of allosaurus. If anything the chicks were precorial. They were pretty good at finding food with a well prepared body. The models are quite off though.
Like some in these groups i could mention!
Midiaou Diallo Neeeeeeerrrrrrrrrd!
As a kid, those Ornitholestes were as fearsome to me as supervillains. Both in this and in the main series.
The Ballad of Big Al is a two-episode series of Walking with Dinosaurs specials following the real-world Allosaurus jimmadseni specimen "Big Al". It first aired on BBC One in the United Kingdom during Christmas 2000.
Those Allosaurus babies' sound I can't forget ...
BBC stands for Best Brave Cameraman.
Allosaurus is my 1st Favourite dinosaur
big al I get all teary eye when he never grown any bigger he got an foot infection and die
I always saw it as the poor man's T Rex lol
Yep yep, very nice wholesome creatures indeed!
Golden Sugar Myla B mines probably ankalosaurus
Mine is Tarbosaurus
So adorable , cute and funny
Honestly, if I had a pet Allosaurus, I'd name him Gwangi.
I’d name it al
Love The Music When Al And His Siblings Started Hunting The Insects 2:24
Genuine question: how did palaeontologists at the time come to the conclusion that Ornitholestes had a nose crest like Ceratosaurus?
the skull had a dent which made it look like that there’s supposed to be a crest
Okay, cool! Thank you!
The Ballad of Big AL and the Walking with Dinosaurs episode Death of a Dynasty gave good information about the growth and paternal care of Allosaurus and Tyrannosaurus. I wish Planet Dinosaur and Prehistoric Planet gave more info on the growth of T. rex, Daspletosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Velociraptor, Gigantoraptor and Alectrosaurus.
The Allosaurus will forever be my favorite dinosaur.
It also has my initials in the name lol
This is so well done!
Aww that's the most adorable little group of killers I ever saw. Just think, one day they'll be big enough to eat us...that's mah kids.
1:48 😂 the Stegosaur behind is just the size of a Diploducus
I Love these baby Allosaurus as lean mean mighty machine
Unless Saurophaganax turned up & killed & ate both parent & young as they were so much larger than Allosaurus & there biteforce was far more powerfull! Free meal for Saurophaganax!
Bird + croc = dinosaur
Crocs are cousins to the Dinosaurs, 'branching off the same Reptile ansester, yet 'Birds are 'Dinosaurs!
+Michael Taylor because they decended from dinosaurs, crocodiles didn't
Exactly! 'Crocs didn't did 'they?😅
Touchè
What?
1:40 They're moving in herds...they do move in herds.
The narrator is Kenneth Branagh.
the herbivores look like they are struggling so much with just taking a step
1:53 axolotls, i have 2 as pets
Tell me how did you travel to the jurassic period right now or i will call the FBI.
@@mlggodzilla1567 probably got them from Gravity Falls.
Theyre actually mudpuppies

dont worry i was exactly the same, so much nostalgia watching this
:) Great..Thank U..Love it..so Real..
Small al! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The Allosaurus on here seems so much smaller than the one on planet dinosaur
1:38 Jurassic Park Brachiosaurus
I wonder how many years does it take for these hatchlings to become fully grown?
22 to 28 years before they stop growing.
It's weird and I know, but this was my childhood movie growing up ;3; My god did I have an awesome childhood.
BBC must bring back Walking With Dinosaurs and host David Attenborough
Alosaurus is my 5th favourite dinosaur 🐓🐊
Who is your 1:st favourite then?
It is my number one!
Ocellaris Saurus me too
Rainbow Racer studios it is my number two.number one is deinonychus.
What animal sounds are the Allosaurus hatchlings doing?
It is similar to baby crocodiles.
Cool must be a dozen of them
Hard to imagine how many times lay eggs
This episode is called walking with dinosaurs
So realistic looking, so much attention to detail ... but no butt holes. No wonder they went extinct.
Fun fact the Allosaurus nickname is “the lion of the Jurassic” there’s Laos theories that they lived and hunted in family units and I’m a supporter of that theory.
The allosaurus hatchlings sound like little piglets
awesome
feels like just yesterday i was watching this on vhs as a kid
3:16 since when did dinosaurs learn to cough lol
I don't think coughing is a very mammal specific trait
How did they get actual footage of dinosaurs if they're extinct?🤔
Justin Lyons time machines
Þïmē mæćhïňéß
Imagine Einstein Rosen brige(wormhole) in space times opening up and seeing all this coming out including a allosaurus
i love allosaurs
Nearly the sice of T.Rex but much faster in growing, running and breeding. Not such a strong bite but powerful arms and more dangerous claws than the Indominus Rex. Allodaurus for the new Major villan in the Jurassic Park series.
So cute
Ah god i was watching it in 2014, i was little and i liked so much allos and still!, i still have this on a DVD i never dump it,always putting on a good spot so it won't get lost
HE IS SO CUTE IM GONNA DIE
The babes sound like AWHIE AHWIE AHWIE lmao
which epsoide is this
LOL! Fail, Al xD
I was wondering how would they know how dinasours behave and etc when they've never even seen one?
CoolPolar Educated guesses.
Wasn't the Ballad of Big Al based upon the Morrison Formation in the United States?
DRBWildlife the environment and other animals were, but Al's story was based specifically on his skeleton.
But the animals (some of them) are from the Morrison Formation.
A triceratops horns is strong enough to stab a T-Rex
I
They grow up fast
Big Al!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Ryan Clayton the great Allosaurus!!!! :D
That Scorpion was a Freak
Whould it be awsome to see a utahraptor story for bbc
good video for allosaurus fans
Please put the big al game back on the BBC walking with dinosaurs website I loved playing that
why baby dinosaurs is so cute??!
So smol c:
In a future dinosaur documentary I would like to see Allosaurus or another Jurassic predator hunt Brachiosaurus. Either that or other Brachiosaurs being hunted by large theropods.
Ikr in all of these the Brachiosaurus is always like 'look, don't touch.'
si al muere al final de hambre
***** with the predator squashed like a bug
Brachiosaurus was far too large for the weak jawed Allosaurus, thats why Allosaurs had the lowest PP ratio anywhere compared to anyother preditory Dinosaur of any other time in the Mesozoic!
Isaac Kelley cough argentinosaurus cough.
Adorable
Baby allosaurus vs scorpion
I remember when this came out...
My favourite dinosaurs
Carnivorous - Allosaurus and T-Rex
Herbivores - Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus
Pterosaur- Pterodactyl and Pteranodon
Sea- Liopleurodon and Mosasaurus
1:56 is that a axolotl?
Yes it's possible, but it could also be a young salamander
HOWD THEY GET THIS FOOTAGE
Ask the man himself, Gilderoy Lockhart.
Walking with Dinosaurs special, their secret technique is going back in time to film this.
So,Al the Allosaurus Fragilis would have to be careful with the Bigger Species of Scorpion, because their pincher,so big that they may could have crush small pieces of bones of they wanted to.
brave camera man
Dinosauro. : complimenti. Tanti.
I miss that Big Al game why did they have to remove it?!
It's been restored thankfully.
The baby allosaurus sound like Ratts Tyrell from Star Wars episode 1
BABY ALL MY FAVORITE¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
them juvi allos better stop 2 calling
Dinosauro. . Bestia. Affascinante. Piace. A. Tutti. Perché?
the right would be allosauri
the plural of allosaurus would actually be allosaurs not allosauri
The babies are adorable too bad they have an egg predator after them and grow up. Oh well I still appreciate nature.
Cute
