No matter how many times I’ve seen this video, I always come back so I can listen to that exhaust note. You’re the reason why I got a fz10 with an Austin racing exhaust !
Awesome riding my man! Those roads look awesome to carve up but there was so much debris though. This video really makes me want an MT10 :DD That sound is hypnotic. My MT07 always cracked me up while I was pushing it through the hills.
For $4 grand more, I doubt most people will be any faster with it because they'll be holding back. It's a lot of money for not that much more performance. If you want horsepower, the GSX-S1000 makes more, especially after a tune and cost a lot less.
I wasn't looking for horsepower. The FZ-10 is just a blast to ride! I do a lot of highway commuting and I can easily say it handles highway speeds/wind much much better than my 09 did. As for being faster, it is that as well. Took it through a series of twisties I often go to and I can go through the corners at speeds much greater than I was capable of achieving on the 09. I'd recommend test driving one so you can feel it for yourself. Words don't do the bike justice :)
@ChicagoMMA19 How tall are you? im 200cm i bought a new fz09 2017 but traded it for a ktm 1290 super adventure s. Now i so want the Mt 10 but dunno how its gonna be since im so tall wind etc. I remember wind on fz 09 when going over 160km/h-200+ was annoying as hell. Also if riding for a few hours an riding on big roads and going fast my neck hurt after awhile due to wind. Plz tell me ur tall and its great ;). GOnna test ride a Yamaha MT-10(fz10) SP Touring Edition -17 on tuesday ;P
wish we had roads around here like that ( mid west Wisconsin ) to flick my FZ10 like that, heck cant find a corner around here with out going way faster than should be just to get a little lean going . Love the exhaust working on a Buell XB style underbelly exhaust for mine with turn outs on both sides just want to get that deep grumble outta it with out getting cops turning heads from half mile away. Keep up the great vids
That my good man, was some very very good reading of the roads, obesevations of shit that wouldnt even of been on my mind were made watching this. Nice riding and gorgeous bikes the MT-10.
Serious question: Is it possible to gun it on this bike and NOT pop a wheelie? It seems like every time you crack the throttle a bit, the wheel is off the ground, sending your handlebars a little squirrely coming out of a turn and such. I'm asking because I want one of these, and I want to pop wheelies, but not every time I crack the throttle, you know?
Totally understand. The unfortunate answer is no. You cannot rip the throttle on this bike in 1, 2 or 3 without the wheel lifting unless you have wheelie/traction control on which (in a very choppy manner) just cuts power to the rear tire when I️t detects lift (see my 0-100 video). I️ ride in TC 1 and get all that freedom. TC 3 is super intrusive. I’ve been told that TC 2 was a happily medium, but I’ve never tried I️t!
Awesome, thanks. Basically I'm looking for the ultimate urban assault vehicle that can still do 2 hour interstate runs pretty well, and the FZ10 fits my style and seems to pack a LOT of features into its price tag. But I'm wondering if it's just too much power. Maybe an FZ09 might be a good compromise? I rode an FZ07 and was already wanting more power by the end of the ride, but I don't know if I need backflipping power lol. I mean, I realize I can just control how much power I give it, but I hit it pretty hard in traffic and I have no experience with a bike that will stand up on you. I don't want to punch it through traffic and wheelie into the back of a truck. Awesome riding BTW. You guys fit my style of riding, except you push it further than I do haha!
KA-47 the 2017 MT10 has much nicer fuelling than previous years resulting in a much more predictable power delivery. My MT10 in its most aggressive setting certainly does not behave this wildly..
Cenobyte Proper BP and cornering basics will keep the front wheel down, except when you want it to. They do wheelie easily but an experienced rider on this same stretch of road would be sliding with the power rather than wheelie’ing! Buy an MT07 or SV650 and ride it until you have ground the foot pegs into half their size and shag the hell out of the engine. It’s much more fun than having an inexperienced, and therefor scared, rider on a more capable machine.
Does the FZ10 have stock gearing? If so...did you put a speedo healer on it. I'm just wondering if the speedo is off by a few miles per hour like most bikes. It seems like stock gearing, but only you would know this.
Uuhh... So beautiful corners with such a nice riding. If you have a proper gear, you could use your knees too. :D great video and that exhaust sound is amazing!
Damned, that was a nice and entertaining ride. Pretty heroic without any knowledge of that road IMHO, chapeau! Was that "Fast FZ09" leading you by any chance?
It's not only the Prius, watch your left curves ridinglines..... check !!! You and your mate are so often on the other roadsides with your upperbodies. Just to help 😍. Amazing twisties.
Hey man awesome video definitely one more subscriber here, i was wondering if you could help me out finding that exhaust ( the austin racing gp3) for my fz10 here on the USA but i can see to find any website here un the usa that sell this exhaust some help would be great man, thank you
+antonio camacho hey dude, I bought mine directly from Austin racing. It will take a bit of time for them to process the order, but they’re great with customer service and made sure to get me exactly what I wanted!
yo kisch, currently planning on upgrading 2012 tuono to an mt10. do you think it is worth it? saw your video about the tuono 1100 and you seemed to love it aswell! why yamaha?
+Evo Bikelife well I did the Yamaha because I didn't think the Tuono factory was worth the price difference over the fz10... buutttttt... you may be seeing a Tuono Factory 1100 in my garage sooner than later
Kischardio Been road racing for 6 years...trading my street bike (HD Ultra Glide) for an FZ-10 in the next few weeks and your exhaust is by far the best I’ve heard. I’m doing it! Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Hey Kisch, I currently have 3 bikes a Honda Fury, Suzuki Burgman and a FZ-07. I like the FZ-07 so much that I am currently looking to make it 4. I am torn between the 09 and the 10 just worried about the extra weight on the 10 since I usually like bikes as light as possible since I ride a lot of tight back roads. Also I hear the 09 is a bit more snappy off the bottom of the Rev range. Just looking for your opinion since you have owned both of them and unfortunately there are not many places in New York that let test rides happen.
+MistressDarkTruth that’s exactly how I’d describe it- the FZ09 is noticeably lighter and the power seems like it’s always available, especially when comparing the two at low RPM. The FZ10 has a shorter wheel base and feels a bit more darty, but it’s noticeably heavier and has absolutely massive power north of 6,000 RPM. The surge is honestly shocking, when even at 80 mph the thing will still pull hard enough to lift the front wheel under power alone. The sound is awesome too... but I think the thing that bothers me is the weight. It feels like a big, bulky bruiser of a bike. It’s flickable and would maybe beat the FZ09 on a race track, but in slow tight corners I’m guessing it would be pretty even. I was on the highway with a friend who has the new FZ09. He weighs about 40 pounds more than me, so consider that. We both snapped the throttle open at about 55mph and in my rear view mirror it looked like his bike was standing still. Really the biggest advantage between these bikes that I notice is the fz10s crazy high speed power and pull. I personally loved the fz09. I reallly realllly reallllllyyyy like my Fz10, but somehow considering the total package of looks, performance, sound, etc etc I don’t love it quite as much as I loved the 09. I just generally felt more comfortable all around on the fz09, even if it’s a less capable machine. Good luck and let me know if you make a decision! Hope this helps!
What's with motovloggers and using ridiculous completely unnecessary high revs low gear. I don't get it ur ripn through there like ur on an inline 4 250 dude u will find ur bike will last longer if u don't sit on such high revs when it's not needed.
mt09 is a way better bike than the mt10 on road. On Mt10, you can't even open up because simply too much torque and bad fueling...in twisties, i beat 2 MT10 on 2003 cbr 954 rr with "only" 151 HP and 9,3 of torque and they can't do anything (and i wasn't the best pilot of us 3), simply because the fueling allows me to open sooner and big in total control (and i don't even have electronic at all)...MT allows you maybe 40% of the gas if you're on the highway and it's 100% chance of wheelie if you want it ...or even if you don't want it (tcs don't save all bad curves)...here in EU peeps are all selling them after few months only because they are ridiculous facing much more modest bikes in twisties (dragster races and highway is for newbies here in EU but we know it's very popular in the US). Beside this, this is one of the most dangerous bike ever made with S1000r and Tuono (and i tested all bikes above 150hp like s1000rr, panigale V4, Streetighter 1098, rsv4,...). The MT10 is a really really dangerous bike you can't have total control of it whatever are uour skills...the crossplane is pure dope on R1M and on track but on roads, this bike is really dangerous for his rider so stay humble and be very carefull guys. V
I'm with you on this and for the reasons you state. Will go for the 09 vs the 10 . . . Darn research brings me to your conclusions. I say darn because the 10's v4 is so SOUNDY. Oh well, I'll just hold onto my 05 vfr for sound. LOL
Not at all. Numerous has claimed that the MT10 is wery intuitive to drive. Not hard at all, but offcourse you have to have respect a +150hp bike. MT09 has more low down punch than the MT10. that bike sounds godly
Very Soundy
No matter how many times I’ve seen this video, I always come back so I can listen to that exhaust note. You’re the reason why I got a fz10 with an Austin racing exhaust !
could watch you 30mins straight this shit never gets old
Frightening but beautiful music from that crossplane fz10
Awesome riding my man! Those roads look awesome to carve up but there was so much debris though. This video really makes me want an MT10 :DD That sound is hypnotic. My MT07 always cracked me up while I was pushing it through the hills.
The MT-10 may not be the prettiest of bikes, but fuck me, it's a monster
I had a 150 rwhp FZ1 that looked better. :)
Bad donkey, huh
man i dig the sound of your bike.
back here in germany, it forbidden to decat the bike :(
That FZ10 sounds like a monster.
V4 Cross plane motors in both
Um no .. just on the fz10 .... the fz09 is is a triple
Trading my fz09 in this Sunday for the fz10. Your videos on the beast inspired me to make the upgrade. Great video!
I picked up the FZ-10 today... WTF!! This things awesome!

I recommend taking a GSX-S1000 out for a spin for all the same reasons. No one complained about the K5 Gixxer motor.
@ChicagoMMA19 How tall are you? im 200cm i bought a new fz09 2017 but traded it for a ktm 1290 super adventure s. That sound. I wish we had roads like that here in the Netherlands..
Awesome video's mate, totally mastering that beast.
Keep the uploads coming, totally miss them, its been awhile
wish we had roads around here like that ( mid west Wisconsin ) to flick my FZ10 like that, heck cant find a corner around here with out going way faster than should be just to get a little lean going . Anyone knows the name of the outro song?
The noise that bike makes is amazing.
Good shit dude! Some badass views on that road!
DId your friend on the Mt09 got the stock suspension?
Awesome man, always a bit nerve shattering when you don't know the roads, good time
That my good man, was some very very good reading of the roads, obesevations of shit that wouldnt even of been on my mind were made watching this. Nice riding and gorgeous bikes the MT-10.
that was so sick, could watch that all day
That AR pipe sound so good 😍😍
That is Austin Racing ? didn't sound like it
Greg Ennico Lol idk what to tell you. It sounds good to me
Austin is awesome on the cross plane. great video and awesome riding
This time I L-O-V-E your video! Awesome road and superb riding!
Sick bike, sick sound, sick riding, sick road.... Sick....
Just barely saw this video today....was debating on the gsx-s750 and mt09...i know what i want now MT-07 it is....thanks great video!
Yeah! fz09 bro represent!
hard to beleive you could ride that long without having to pass a car
Awesome video, and great riding. God I love that Cross-plane engine, all you need is either graves exhaust or Austin Racing and your perfect
The sound! Wow! Amazing! Great video.

Nothing better than a good open throttle after a stop at Alice's;-)
Watched entire clip just to see if he has 2nd gear ^^
Is that stock exhaust?
Great video! What road was this i frequent the bay area a lot and id love to check it out
Keep up the content dude!! Loving your channel! :D
Does the FZ10 have stock gearing? If so...did you put a speedo healer on it. I'm just wondering if the speedo is off by a few miles per hour like most bikes. It seems like stock gearing, but only you would know this.
Yes, stock gearing
bro you are doing a great job keeeeep it up big support from Slovenia
These roads look sweet man!
I've taken the 1290R on demo a couple times and it's pretty ridiculous. Nothing quite like banging through the qs while putting down ~95 ft-lb torque.
What kind of exhaust??
Uuhh... So beautiful corners with such a nice riding. If you have a proper gear, you could use your knees too. :D great video and that exhaust sound is amazing!
Were you riding this in B mode? Fueling sounds a little twitchy.
Damned, that was a nice and entertaining ride.
Pretty heroic without any knowledge of that road IMHO, chapeau!
Was that "Fast FZ09" leading you by any chance?
KwakboyMotovlogs yeah he's a friend and he was familiar with the road
Did you do anything for fueling when you put on the Austin decat?
Hey man, fellow fz10 rider here, what power mode and TC mode do you use?
What exhaust you have in the FZ 10 ?
It's not only the Prius, watch your left curves ridinglines..... check !!! You and your mate are so often on the other roadsides with your upperbodies. Just to help 😍. Amazing twisties.
Im no expert but wouldnt a handlebar stabilizer help you with that wobbling after accelerating? MT-10's dont come with stabilizers right?
Marlon Gordon Sjöberg they do, just hidden behind the forks. When riding this hard on corner exit it usually doesn't do much
You're always gona have a bit of wobble it's inevitable
Which bike do you like more... your new KTM or the FZ10? Great video!
bike sounds so good man
Where are those roads at?
Beautiful road man. Keep rippin'👍👍👍
what exhaust?
Breathtaking scenery. Where is this??
Sounds awesome 👍👍👍🏍💨💨💨
Another sick video! Could you post the time code for when you get your knee down? I think I missed it :(
Hey man awesome video definitely one more subscriber here, i was wondering if you could help me out finding that exhaust ( the austin racing gp3) for my fz10 here on the USA but i can see to find any website here un the usa that sell this exhaust some help would be great man, thank you

That bike sounds amazing
You know You can adjust your limiter light?
Ok so you get a subscribe for that. Niiiice job. Bike sounds incredible. It sounds like mine. Love the fz10
What roads?
Looks awesome! What area is that?
cory Jordan NorCal
beanburnham01 awesome I'm in the central valley
the FZ-09 is a weapon!
My God, that bike is savage af.

Keep the tuono m8, much safer bike tbh !
Its hella nice, what's the price for this bike
Oh man, that sound... You need to do some tunnels...
Insane. Thank you sir.
tar snakes, sand, gravel...it's a wonder you two didn't go down.
I think it was their MotoGP level of skill that kept them up....
Bike sounds great!!
That Fz10 scream 😍
I love that video with two beasts haha !
Reasons number 8,846 why I need a fz09.
What exhaust? Full, right? Lmk!!! Great upload, sir!!
Austin racing gp3 decat
Kischardio Been road racing for 6 years...trading my street bike (HD Ultra Glide) for an FZ-10 in the next few weeks and your exhaust is by far the best I’ve heard. I’m doing it! Thanks and keep the videos coming.

That's a bad ass road.
Good riding bro 👍
looks like a fun road

I'd kill to go to La Honda right now
wow .that was awesome. average speed about 45 mph. i am impressed.
Sounds amazing
Man you bike is a fk beast indeed!! but you can use more gears you know that!! heheheh
\m/ Ride in peace buddy
Amazing skills
Guy on the 09 needs to learn how to lean his upper body as well.
NICE ROAD .WHERE IS IT .ILL BE DOING THE TAIL OF DRAGON SOON .
Wood side California!
Cali?
Going a little slower as you say that you gasp for air lmfao go fast let's see your fastest bro! 😂
Dude that was nice ty
I am down in Hollister
Lets go for a ride
What's with motovloggers and using ridiculous completely unnecessary high revs low gear. I don't get it ur ripn through there like ur on an inline 4 250 dude u will find ur bike will last longer if u don't sit on such high revs when it's not needed.
The 09 was in its element here. The 10 is better in wide sweepers. Engine breaking is better in the lower gears revved up.......
Some people like the sound. It's tolerable for a few minutes then it just feels like someone poking a stick into the ear drum.
Is it me or were you in first gear like the entire video lol
+JCD4828 yep lol. Probably could’ve run it in second
Probably could've been in 3rd most of the time...those bikes have good midrange.
It's not the fz10, but the fz09 still can kill it!
Epic!
