Got mine back in Nov. Total$164.64 thanks to a revue by Nemo Propaganda. So glad I paid attention and here you are confirming the same no regrets for a beautiful piece. Thank you.
Thank you for the recommendation. Mine just came in and for ~$200ish I could not be happier. Finally have a sub integrated into my system that I will be happy with for a few years until my space is ready to be pressurized
I got myself a Polk powered subwoofer for my home theater, it's fantastic as far as I'm concerned. When I first connected it and powered it up, I had to back off a good deal on the main power level, it's now fixed at barely halfway on the rear main volume, and it's tuned perfectly for the small room I have it in.
I have the C910 and it is a fantastic sub for a small to mid size room. If you put it in a small room plug the port on the sub and it will sound much better. I have them matched to my main speakers (Emotiva B1+) using REW and a miniDSP UMIK-1. I think the C910 are the best subwoofers you can get for under $200 and may beat some that are more expensive. It also has a class A amp according to Jamo so that could be why it sounds better that similar priced subs. Edit found other sources saying it has a class d amp not sure what to believe now
I own this subwoofer. I like it, especially for the price. A few drawbacks are it's not the most powerful for listening at high volumes, and it may not go as low as an expensive subwoofer. But for this price point, it's probably one of the best subs you can get new. It's definitely better than no subwoofer if you don't have speakers with a ton of bass.
I just picked one up from a local auction for $60 Canadian. I currently have an 8" older Polk and it shakes the space real nice. This will really improve things!
So I was listening to Z's system. These subs augmented the surround system VERY well. They are so affordable I would run three of them cardiod and get them even cleaner.
This is the first time I've heard of the subwoofer crawl, but I'm definitely giving it a try when I get a sub to complement the edifier mr4 I got because of Zeos.
I own 2 of these white C912 subs sometime around Black Fri of 2022 and paid only $135 each on Amazon. Yep, you just read 135 a piece! That's the hand on the Bible truth, no BS. These are phenomenal for the price. My advice is to wait as long as you can for another price drop, cause it "could" happen. The white is beautiful. Nice change from basic black boxes, and they look great with a variety of speaker finishes. Grill is unique. Front port is beneficial for placement. You'll get used to the the rather "bright" standby light, it's not that bad. And don't get hung up on the 75 W. I preferred the 12 over the 10 inch due to the much larger cabinet, larger woofer, and more power. Even at half volume, the 12 will surprise you. They even sound comparable to my 12-in Klipsch subs at times, which are more powerful, were a little more expensive, but still great deals. The Jamos are literally some of the best bang-for-the-buck I've purchased, and I have acquired a lot over the years.
I have the JAMO C912 and am happy with it in my current situation. Just a little question about it's power output. It's actually 75 watts but they keep playing with maximum output. It's gone from 200w to 400w max output. So I don't know what's going on there but I think if I could do it over again I would go with the Emotive Airmotiv SE12. That would be a good comparison for best budget sub.
@@spamcan9208 I gave it to a friend and he likes having a subwoofer. The Jamo could go lower but for the price it blends well and you can’t beat the price compared to other subs
I got one of those s!im 8" jamo subs for a hundred bucks. Placed it under daybed and it really rounds out the other 7 subs i have. Great deal! Gives ne some tactical response as welll
I like that you at least tell us the track your listening to is even though it's only for a few seconds. If one catches my interest, I like to go look it up.
Owned one and gave it away after 6 months. Not bad but really undepowered. I went for a 10" JBL SUB550P. Got it for $189.00 on sale on JBL site. 300 watts rms / 550 watt peak, and sealed. It weighs 50lbs and kicks the shit out of the Jamo.
I wanted that incredibly bad at that price but haven't seen it anywhere near that. I had $300 to blow on amazon and decided it was time to upgrade from logitech 2.1 speakers, even though I have old bookshelf speakers around I found it hard to get a mini stereo amp/cables and a sub all in that budget so I went with the 10 inch jamo for $130 renewed. I'm just hoping it's an upgrade from the logitech sub
Just bought the 3050i because of your review of the 3030i and hoping that i dont need a sub. Room is 10x12 feet 😄👍 have the bronze 500 5g aswell. You should review those man. 👍
ZZZZZz! Your description of the sub crawl makes it New again. Ok, I don't remember hearing that technique before. 10/10 for owners of Subs, who follow you.
I have purchased two of the C912 subs last week. The issue I am having with these are, when in standby power mode they will alternate on and off with a loud thump.. this is very annoying! I did call support Klipsh to discuss this matter with no resolve. I have added these two subs, with two other klipsh subwoofers in my family room setup. Before doing this I had no issues with the amps making the thump on and off noise. These are being returned as the results. Has anyone else noticed this with the Jamo subwoofers?
I need those but as a headset. I guess I would have to make myself some kind of shoulder rig probably though. They'd be great on the bus. Oh and they would have to be Bluetooth because I wouldn't want to look like I am behind the times with a wire running into my jacket.
I don't like mac os but..... it can do dolby atmost without external hardware aka hooking up an audio interface with 8 channels = better dac than receiver and well just super simple
