I like that this is how your chose to present your recommendations this year. There are so many recommendations out there, and different products work for different people, but I love to hear those tried and true products that you actually use on a regular basis. Then I know they're really good since you have so many choices!

I'm 57, I always had oily skin, but when I went through menopause my skin turned dry. I don't have many wrinkles, and I never took care of my skin until 5 yrs ago. I think having oily skin all my life might have been a blessing for me and for you too. You don't have hardly any wrinkles. Good for you!
BeautyBlender’s tint is great for mature skin. I’m combo now but oily in the summer and in my mid-50s

I´d like to say something about oily skin. It´s not that bad, specially these days when we can find so many products to make it less visible. People say I look 10 to 15 years younger than my actual age (73) and I believe it is due to my oily skin. If I look around, people with oily skin look kind of younger than those with dry skin. If I was not blessed with a perfect complexion, at least I got the second best option.

Love your intro - today was my 1st time watching you. I’m 50 with normal-to-dry skin. But at this time, I’m finding that my old makeup isn’t working for me so I’m buying/trying new stuff. I just bought the Givenchy Prisme Libre glow foundation & concealer- it feels so so good on my skin! I also bought their setting powder in #3 which doesn’t ever look cakey. I love the Merit bronzing stick & highlighter stick for sheer look. Seeing how you also like these products - you have a new subscriber!! Glad to find your channel! I need to add the Mario eyeshadow palette to my cart & Hourglass. And yes, I’m one that has never tried the Armani luminous silk foundation- it’s been in my cart.

I’m 53 with dry skin and my holy grails are Hourglass and Armani foundation, ND concealer, Pat McGrath under eye powder, Charlotte Tilbury bronzers and lip liners, and Makeup by Mario products especially his blushes powder and cream, Makeup forever lip liners and cream eyeliner, and for setting sprays I’m over the top Mac fix +which is in Canada to melt the powders then once dry I set with Charlotte Tilbury and my makeup lasts all day. ❤❤❤

Hi Risa!! What a nice surprise to have this video today! I love the Armani foundation and I use it every day. I am eyeing Patrick Ta 3 palette and YSL mascara for the sale. As far as powders go, I am a ride or die for By Terry loose and pressed powder. Nothing works for me like that powder! Even though that isn’t sold at Sephora lol. New bronzer alert! Armani Luminous Silk Sunlit Bronzer just released! I don’t know how it snuck through the cracks, but while I was searching the Victoria Beckham bronzer, ONE review of the Armani popped up and I found it at Nordstrom! Picking it up tomorrow and I cannot wait! I just bought the YSL so I’m in the hole on my bronzer budget but I had to let everyone know because the shades look GORGEOUS !

I buy the Olay cream and retinol 24 at night, they are $60 a jar, but you can often get them on 50% off or both for $60 and I will grab it then... as it is great skincare and I get both for just $20 more than 1 jar of the magic cream. And on my 64 yr old skin, I'm happy with the results.

Hi Risa. Great video and recommendation as always! I have 2 questions, if I had to choose between Luminous Silk and Ambient soft glow. Which one would you say I would like best? I’m 46 years old so of course I have mature skin more in the dry side but I still like medium to full coverage foundations and I still use powder to set no matter what. I currently have and love Dior Forever and YSL All Hours. Second question is, how does the Bambas blush compares to the Danessa Myricks blushes? I have only one color of the Danessa Myricks and I love it but just like you I’m obsessed with blush so I’m always buying more and more. Oh can you recommend me your favorite from Valentino? I also want to get one on the sale.

And which concealer that you like to you like to combo with that foundation too? I need more brightness/ coverage under eye and sometimes the powder I use makes it look cakey and then it shows the fine lines. Thank you for your recommendations!
I think you would like the Pat McGrath concealer and foundation. Gives a skin like finish, with good coverage, but feels like a tiny

Could you please tell me what product (specifically) you use to remove the YSL lash clash mascara? I love it but have the hardest time removing it and feel like I lose so many lashed doing so 😢. I’ve tried many cleansing balms, oils, waterproof micellar water.

I use 8. It’s a bit dark, but I mostly use it at night when I also use a tinted body product, so it ends up matching.

I swooped up the ND concealer and for some reason it doesn’t work for me! It doesn’t blend well and it seems to get too thick or not work at all, even when using a tiny bit. The shade range is incredible but the formula just doesn’t work well for me. If anyone has any tips and tricks for textured (milia, some eye baggage) 40 year old under eyes, please share!

I don't think the rewards program is very generous and when you go in store I never feel like the sales associates are as friendly as they are in Ulta.
