- It is that time of year again!! The last minute rush to make cards for all of my friends and family. I always like to challenge myself to use only the left over scraps on these cards. Left over paper and ribbon and even embellishments, and of course last years Xmas cards. I hope you enjoy and thank you as always for watching :) xxx
Love what you have done, I have some of the same craft supplies and it's nice to see that you're not using the latest crafty 'must haves'... even in 2014. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for the lovely comment! Thank you so much for watching :) Sending big hugs Jane :) xxx
Very different ideas. I'm just starting to recycle cards and really enjoy it. Watching you lovely women do them is most enjoyable.
Hi Bobbi, thank you for your lovely comment! Have fun recycling your cards (it's my favourite thing to do) TFW Much love Jane :) xxx

Hi Joanne, thank you so much for your lovely comment and TFW Much love Jane :) xxx
Great idea, I cut my Christmas card fronts out with stitched squares, circles or ovals in different sizes depending on the design. I then used doily and ornate dies to back the pictures or edge the cards. I had made about 30 by the end of January and have have lots of pictures ready to start again In a couple of months. I am in UK and make about 150 Christmas cards for our family, friends, fellow Rotarians, Inner Wheel and Town Twinning members plus our many friends overseas. Cards help us keep in touch and although some people moan about postage I give out as many as I can by hand and even those I post are not as expensive as they would be if I had to travel the miles to deliver to friends in Virginia, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Australia. Keep up the good work
Thank you Ruth! Your cards sound beautiful :) You sound like a very busy lady :) I agree, I love to send cards to friends and family. TFW Much love Jane :) xxx

So Gorgeous and talented. I’m trying to figure out what the cost would be to start this project. What is the name of that cutter you have? The rest is double stick tape and what else?
Hi Mindy, the cutter is called a Big Shot. I mainly just use my scraps when making recycled cards. Thank you for your lovely comment and TFW Much love Jane :) xxx
thebookladyjane Thank you very much.
I need to get me one of those cutters, id like to do this, but i would have to cut everything out by hand. Are they very expensive?
Hi Rachel, the one I have (Sizzix Big Shot) cost about £80, but there are smaller, cheaper ones available. You can always, just use a template to draw around and cut your shapes out that way. Hope that helps TFW Much love Jane :) xxx
Simply Beautiful!

Great ideas but I have none of the tools you are using to recycle your cards. Must be quite expensive to buy everything??
Hi Vivian, thank you for your lovely comment. I've been crafting for many years, so my tools have been collected over a long period of time, but I guess if you bought them all at the same time, it would be expensive xxx
Super!
Thank you :) xxx
