couldn't agree more .... I remember when you got row 27 on east or west and could only see 2/3rds of the pitch .... but all adds to the character. I feel very fortunate to have seen football from my first game 1988 with terraces and atmosphere before the slow evolution to worrying about prem clubs hitting the £1bn mark for sky marketing and hype purposes

The Emirates is a brilliant stadium, big majestic and truly encapsulates everything about our great club.
But Highbury had the soul.

I guess it takes time - that's what is special about a 90+ year old stadium, Arsenal fans had many many great memories at Highbury when they left. I guess it takes a bit of time to find the soul at the Emirates.

We were a serious competitive club when we were at Highbury. Since moving to Emirates our club has become nothing but a franchise, very sad.

I don't think it would have survived especially with all the alike stadiums being replaced. We had to move on even if we kept it for a few more years
