Hey @Kleric, you've probably seen these already but here's a new glitch from 2 weeks ago: www.reddit.com/r/Breath_of_the_Wild/comments/b57zcy/new_glitch_full_hearts_and_stamina/ and ua-cam.com/video/cL_DAl63zxg/v-deo.html. I think there are a few ways you might be able to mix that glitch with your one together. Some ideas: 1. When you're out of bounds, does the camera glitch still work? Can you look down at yourself through the camera while you move? 2. Since the new duplicating glitch relies heavily on holding items, maybe you'd be able to hold smuggle during those moments and see if it still works? Either way it looks like there's definitely something weird about holding items + pausing + another important event (camera glitch or getting hit by an explosion). Probably worth exploring more
They've been waiting for his death all this time, you wonder why they hide in deadly locations?, that's right, murder, after Link dies they start with the ritual to revive the Hero of Time, as they do they destroy the universe bit by bit
It's neat, but it would be better to just buy a microphone. It's difficult to read and concentrate on technical shit at the same time. For me at least.
Cyglo Pargen or, some people just aren’t comfortable with the entire world hearing their voices/seeing their faces. There are plenty of reasons people choose text: 1. They’re uncomfortable with their voice or just don’t want it out there. 2. They want to remain anonymous so they don’t share their name, face, or voice in order to remain that way. 3. They run multiple channels under different names and use the text so people don’t know they’re actually the same person, thus bagging more views and subs in the end(though this options a lot more work if they’re a bigger channel as they’d have double to upload). Pick any of them, not everyone is required to share their voice if that’s how they choose to upload. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Things I would greatly like to see tested at the bottom of a cliff with this glitch: - Can you summon a horse with the ancient horse armor and ride it? - What happens if you rest at a fire? - Can you use amibos down there? - Can you use master cycle? - Can you take damage? - What happens if you die down there? - Can you save the game and reload? - Can you get boulders and other objects down there? - Can you use a Stasis launch there? - How does using champion powers work, specifically Ravioli's gale? - Can you use to reach bottom of Yiga pit? - What happens if you fall into water with zero stamina? - Anything special happen when used in conjunction with the Escape Gannon glitch? Please give this a like so Kleric can see and we can get more great Botw glitch videos =)
Master cycle works, ancient saddle doesn't, using raviolis gale just makes you void out and using a campfire kills you. Also falling into water with no stamina doing this glitch puts you In your inventory then kills you. You can't do the second part of the glitch with water though. You're welcome.
1) What happens if your run out of stamina in water after a Korok puzzle finishes? 2) Can you use this to escape the void of the Great Plateau at the start of the game?
1) The drowning sequence will happen first, you'll be placed at the last valid spot Link was standing, and then the Korok will give you the seed. (This was actually explored a bit, it can create some weird terrain glitches if you don't stand on valid ground for a long distance, and drown while getting a Korok seed). 2) Sadly no. But the source for the Dead Inventory glitch linked in the description, as discovered by Paradox_Guardian, that was the first thing he tested with it.
@@KlericYT Plus I think the GP boundary is hard-coded into the game, even if you get off (which is certainly possible such as with stasis boulder riding), as soon as you get far away enough the game causes you to void out no matter what.
@@adithyavraajkumar5923 Yup. The death box isn't any kind of barrier, it's a boolean check. If Link is not in the Great Plateau region = true, void him out.
Why is there a ring around the plateau that you can walk around if you stasis fly off into the lake then? Too close or far causes a fail, it's strange.
@@MutantMonkey14 im kinda just spitballing here, but based on this info i think there's actually both a death barrier *and* a boolean check, with a small gap between them. the great plateau 'region' as dictated by the ingame text(like when you enter an area and it'll tell you its name) seems to extend a bit outwards from the actual plateau; when you walk into the general vicinity below it you get the great plateau text. just the check for whether you're in the region would allow players to climb down and walk around the path surrounding the plateau, so they add an extra death barrier.

For you to do this on switch is very impressive. Grats on finding the smuggling glitch though! good video.
That was one of the first things I tried. Sadly no, however the game still thinks Link is holding something when both his normal and invisible holding inventory are seemingly empty. Maybe in the future I'll test that more, because that itself is a weird state that has to be abusable somehow.
On Eventide Island, you can just throw a guardian axe on the island before it takes your $#!7. Just go and pick it up after the text and use it to fk up the hinox

I am sure you'd be alive and fine during the Korok cutscene and inventory, though I am doubtful that being at the bottom of a lava lake doesn't kill you, noting how water levels work (and Lava just being an alternate type of water in the game). But I honestly can't be too sure, I haven't tried it. Could be really different and cool!
Hey Kleric, I really like your videos man. Could you maybe point me towards a video/board with a list of all special movement techniques out here? Like the shield jumping, bow spin, there used to be a certain bomb move iirc... I'd love that! If there isn't one, that would definitely be a video I'd look out for!
There's a lizalfos that has it, south of Rucco Maag Shrine (in the Lanayru Great Spring area). It's the only respawnable Eightfold Long Blade in the overworld, so it's a rare sight.
My thoughts / guesses as to why the bomb doesn't allow for the inventory glitch to work: The reason why the glitch is canceled if you pull a bomb is that it is one of the few actions you can perform without needing the buttons to interact with other items. Other actions use the same buttons as the drop / store / cook buttons, and therefore cannot be used while holding items in normal play. But you can draw a bomb while holding items in normal play, as the controls are not overwritten and rather just bound to different buttons. So the programmers implemented a priority system that would auto-store items being held if link pulled a bomb. But there is no protocol for what should be done if link were to, hypothetically, get on a horse while holding items, as the mount option cannot be access without dropping or storing the items first. That is what I think the reason behind the bomb canceling the glitch while the other menu options don't. Another question, does pulling out the sheikah slate pointer function (to place way points) work in a similar manner?
Kleric i just wanted to let you know why the bomb pulling animation reverts the glitch to normal: under normal circumstances, any held item has to be out of link's hand to pull out a bomb. The same applies here, despite his altered state
A little glitch I found out is that if you have a badly damaged shield and surf on it and it breaks there is a chance that link will not ragdoll. Now if you die by fall damage link will soar into the air...I named it “shield storage” (you probably don’t have to die to get this to work, but link has to ragdoll so maybe if you hit a steep cliff it will trigger, i would check but I sadly sold botw for smash ultimate
Sounds like the Ragdoll Glitch. If you just shield surf jump, and take off your shield before you land, doing anything that would normally ragdoll Link, the ragdolling is just immediately canceled (if you're away from the spot you originally took off your shield). If you do it near where you took off your shield, you'll actually have the ragdoll physics of when Link falls off his shield, which can be useful as it has less air resistance and friction, granting you further distance if you blow yourself up.
In the myahm agana or toto sah shrines you can do the crouched camera glitch, interact with the rotation device, delete a picture, pause, hold an item, unpause, pause again, watch a memory, and unpause. Then go into the void with less than a heart and pause for dead link.
I really wish you would talk. The BotW *style* text is really, really cool, don't get me wrong. I like to listen to UA-cam videos on the background when I'm doing stuff and look over and watch now and again but I have trouble watching your content.. I rarely get to watch anime for the same reason.
recomendation: try starting a new game while in dead link inventory. also, you can travel while in that state by jumping into a void with the apparatus glitch enabled.
I have a suggestion, might this be used to successfully leave the plateau early? Normal methods have void zones everywhere still but I think this has potential in its raw form.
I had a dream about this video and I had 7000 fleet lotus seeds and dream me wanted more so I smuggled more PERFECTLY and when I returned I had 4300 Tl;dr I dreamt about doing hold smuggling, and ended up having way less, than 5 more. Anyways love this video

The reason why the glitch is canceled if you pull a bomb is that it is one of the few actions you can perform without needing the buttons to interact with other items.
When your underneath the cliff and the cameras stuck to a bird's point of view, it just remind of Metal Gear Solid 1
The new 2D zelda looks great!
Lol
Your horse didn't hear you cuz you didnt call it properly, its supposed to be "HEY 🅱️EETER?"
"Tasty hollow center with a white border"
I will never forget how to hold smuggle...
Kleric i just wanted to let you know why the bomb pulling animation reverts the glitch to normal: under normal circumstances, any held item has to be out of link's hand to pull out a bomb. The same applies here, despite his altered state
Watching someone shield surf on a Royal Shield when they had a wooden shield equipped hurts my soul, but this is a good video
You madman
Sounds like the Ragdoll Glitch. If you just shield surf jump, and take off your shield before you land, doing anything that would normally ragdoll Link, the ragdolling is just immediately canceled (if you're away from the spot you originally took off your shield).
If you do it near where you took off your shield, you'll actually have the ragdoll physics of when Link falls off his shield, which can be useful as it has less air resistance and friction, granting you further distance if you blow yourself up.
Oh, ok it’s good to know that there is an easier way to do it, thanks
Oh god, i like the Zelda text, Nice work! (EDIT: I just realized that someone already said this, i guess im late.)
Oh hey look, it's the abyss under the clouds of Skies of Arcadia~
In the myahm agana or toto sah shrines you can do the crouched camera glitch, interact with the rotation device, delete a picture, pause, hold an item, unpause, pause again, watch a memory, and unpause. Then go into the void with less than a heart and pause for dead link.
From there, traveling just gives you a game over before you can travel.
Healing and then traveling just doesn't travel.
OMG the i wouldnt think the smmugling glitch could be used when dyeing clothes thats so useful!!!
When you zone out when already at the bottom, link has a mental breakdown
Just an idea, what if you use that last glitch with the rock circle korok puzzle near the cryonis shrine to skip plateau?
I really wish you would talk.
The BotW *style* text is really, really cool, don't get me wrong.
I like to listen to UA-cam videos on the background when I'm doing stuff and look over and watch now and again but I have trouble watching your content.. I rarely get to watch anime for the same reason.
the low battery at 5:06 spooked me!
Didn't see Link ride an ancient motorcycle at the bottom of the nothingness void. 12/10, would sell 1,004 wood again.
these moves are incredible: 3:13
It looks hard to pull off and these are great glitches too
Use rivali’s gale when at the bottom if the cliff!
recomendation: try starting a new game while in dead link inventory. also, you can travel while in that state by jumping into a void with the apparatus glitch enabled.
Not many people realise you can turn *logs* into *wood* with *bombs*
Just fantastic editing
5:32 Shave and a haircut, two bits :-)
Haha I hear it
I just figured out you can do the hold smuggle by overloading the menu and holding something
4:25 The Legend of Zelda development team coming up with sketches of Deku Link for Majora's Mask, 1999 Colorised.
5:08 i was watching this video on my switch and it took me about 30 seconds to realize my joycon battery wasnt low
I had the same instinct, and I was watching it on my mobile device
I've been giggling uncontrollably at the seizure for about 5 minutes now
What weapon does he use at 5:09
Eightfold Longblade, a Sheikah weapon.
I can't seem to get this glitch. I can't detonate or spawn a bomb. Was it patched in 1.5.0?
@Kleric, I know you showed us your inventory in the video but what shields/weapons do you like the most?
9:33 kinda reminds me of Sen's Fortress skip from Dark Souls.
I have a suggestion, might this be used to successfully leave the plateau early? Normal methods have void zones everywhere still but I think this has potential in its raw form.
When you did the 1,004 wood thing, did you intentionally do wood just so it sounded disturbing or because it was the easiest thing to get?
It was because it was the easiest thing to get.
10:38 Cliff enthusiast trips after taking photos.
I had a dream about this video and I had 7000 fleet lotus seeds and dream me wanted more so I smuggled more PERFECTLY and when I returned I had 4300
Tl;dr I dreamt about doing hold smuggling, and ended up having way less, than 5 more. Anyways love this video
“Buh-bye”
*IMMEDIATELY DIES AFTER*
Only flex your wood on people if you really worked for it. This is good work.
The expanse of your wood... oh my
Maybe the bottom of the cliff glitch could trigger some weird thing, like removing collision or enemies. Something along the lines of queleg skip in Dark Souls.
