I’m sorry but Kitana fighting the Kombat Kids was badass, not cringe. Plus that fight is how I expected a fight between the Kombat Kids and the keeper of time Kitana to go down

Reiko doing air fighting was cringe. General SHAO introducing him was good. Nitara was forced into the story. Serena would have been a better story character than Nitara.

For me it was the whole multiverse ending. Seemed like a lazy way to end the story I get it, it gave you the chance to play as your favorite character and cool reference to Armageddon, but it didn't really give off Raiden being a true champion and Liu Kang as the keeper of time

Easily Nitara for me which sucks because I was really looking forward to seeing how she would be integrated into the story and hopefully given some more character but good god the voice acting was flat and dead making her scenes either cringe or lifeless. I would even feel second-hand lauhgter when she would try to sound threatening, like girl no lmao. They just really shat the bed with her. Personally they should've just got Laura Bailey or Jennifer Hale to do her voice, they would've nailed it.
It's funny because Ashrah didn't really interest me much in the early games so I didn't have much expectations when I heard she was coming back in MK1 and she turned out to be awesome, a total character glow up both in appearance and personality presentation haha.
Anything with nitara, she was one of my favorite characters in mk:da and had the potential to be a cool character, but My god i'll take Ronda Rousey over Megan Fox and day, it's sad when a non actress does a better job than an actress

Ok ok devils advocate nitara looks amazing once you remove the haircut and she is just cool to see on screen because she added variety rather than seeing the same old hood guy and bad guys that’s why her and reptile are such a fresh of breathe air for me
I’m hated the fact that RAIDEN defeated Reiko AND general Shao 😩, . And many other scenes or instances where some seemingly powerful characters were easily defeated , I’ve always been saying this , MK needs to improve on their writing / story mode . It’s like anybody can beat anybody , it doesn’t matter if you’ve had years of experience in real Kombat , you can still be EASILY beaten by a kid 😅
Yeah lol mk has always had that problem where a character who shouldnt beat another character beats them anyway just for the story to progress, like i get it or whatever but for people like us who get invested in the story its just goofy
The #1 Cringiest moment in MK1 is Ch15 of the story. Multiverse BS infecting MK's story once again. #2 Cringiest moment was Raiden defeating General Shao/Edenians keeping in mind that these people have been fighting for thousands of years (Kitana is 10000 years old, Li Mei possibly older), and Shao is a general with way more experience in Kombat while Raiden only recently acquired his powers and has only been training for a fraction of the time of the Outworlders lifetime.
