It’s great to see so many players now taking their chances abroad. I’m sure so many have been inspired by Sancho’s success. Hopefully this means we can be more competitive on the international stage.
Especially when you compare this generation to the guys in the 80s that left England and came back after 1, 2 seasons (Lineker, Rush, Hughes) - I know two of them are Welsh, but it goes to show that going abroad isn't as scary as it once seemed - plus it seems a few of the UK players now have a parent who wasn't born in the UK, so maybe that exposure to other cultures growing up really helps (speaking as a London born person with non-English parents)
The sad thing is that there will always be twats who say they go abroad and play in farmers leagues coz they can’t cut it in the premier league. Really hate these kind of ppl, the epl isn’t everything and most certainly isn’t the only top league in the world. Some corroded mentality, same ppl that say zlatan has never been a top player.
Sancho really was a pioneer at just 17 paving the way for future English talents not to be scared to move abroad and show the world what they could do ❤️👏🙏
The fact that he’s only a year older than me, he’s 17 years old and has basically got his life and career in check! Got into the senior squad, now that’s talent and hard work😅🙌🏾🔥
Its so nice for me as a Dortmund fan to see one of my fav players get so much praise & love by his people for leaving the country to do whats best for his career Keep it up Jude! 🤩🙌🏻

As you can see it was his time to shine but don’t let that overwhelm you that you have to get all figured out especially all the Youngers watching this .

Crazy mature for a 17 year old. I have to be completely honest that I’d never heard of him before he was called up to the senior squad, but will be watching his development with interest now - must be some talent to be in the squad at 17.
I find it mad how this kid was playing in the championship for Birmingham City and now a year later he’s playing for Bayern Munich’s famous rivals Borussia Dortmund and he’s also in the champions league quarterfinals.
Bellingham and Jordan Henderson should be the 2 in midfield in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Sancho and Bellingham will both have to be starters at Euro 21 if Dortmund wins either or both the DFB Pokal and Champions league.
