I'm so happy that my birthday is a day before Jungkook's. And I just got the best birthday gift last night. He went live and I ended up spending my birthday with him on vlive while I eat my cake. Whilst watching a mini concert. What more could I ask for? Best birthday ever!!!!! 💜

In Korea people celebrate their birthdays but do not age up, they age up every new year. Internationaly Jk turned 24 today, however, on jan 1st 2021 he turned 25. On jan 1st 2022, the new year coming, he will turn 26.

Thanks for celebrating his birthday 🙏 Happy JK-Day 💜 Did you watch his birthday livestream? If not, I definitely recommend it. He composed a song out of sweet messages from ARMY on the spot in the livestream with ad-libs and harmonies and gifted this to us. He is sooo talented, it is not easy to do this on the spot and it sounded great! He also gave us a whole mini concert afterwards singing rare b-sides from BTS. 2 1/2 hours for us with a special gift on his own birthday! I felt like it was me who had birthday and not him 😅
I watched his VLive (So if any videos are late blame JK for distracting me!) but I had to mute it several times because he was singing songs we haven't done yet!

All Koreans turns a year older on January 1st (New Years) not their actual birthdays. So BTS current international ages are Jungkook 24, Jimin 25, V 25, RM 26 (soon 27), J-Hope 27, Suga 28, and Jin 28. But their Korean ages age Jungkook 25, V 27, Jimin 27, RM 28, J-Hope 28, Suga 29, and Jin 30.

In Russia it's all pretty standard, cake, candles, presents and all that😄 however, in Korea it's custom to eat meokguk(? sorry if I mess up the Korean word), seaweed and beef soup - the reason for it being that this soup is given to women after labor to replenish their energy, so through breast milk it's basically the first food the child has as well😁 usually it's the mom who cooks it for the person, but if it's not an option, anyone can make it- Jin used to make this soup for members and bangtan debut anniversary 🥰

In Denmark we always put the Danish flag out everywhere, however, I don't think anyone think of it as a nationalistic thing. To me, our flag (fun fact: which is actually the oldest national flag still being used) resembles celebration and birthdays - it's almost more a birthday flag than a national flag. At least most of the year. In my family we wake up the birthday person by singing happy birthday (we have 4 nationalities in my family, so we do the Danish, Swedish, English and Italian song). Most Danish people eat 'lagkage' which is a layer cake or kagemand/kagekone which is sweet white buns/pastry placed out like a person topped with candy and Danish flags (again, it's more like a celebration flag).

Korean age is plus two.🎉🎉😂 Plus one on your birthdate another plus one every new year.😭 So Jungkook's real age from birth now is 24 (international age) in Korean age he is 25, And in January 2021 he is 26 years old, when he is only 24.😂😭 Same goes to other members.👍
